Luckily, I was able to learn how to order thanks to the nice gentleman in front of me ordering whilst holding a conversation with me. Basically, the set up is a lot like Q-doba. You stand in line, choose your bowl size, choose your proteins and then toppings and sauce. I chose the regular bowl because it had 2 proteins and I just couldn't decide between spicy salmon and spicy tuna. My bowl was delicious! I was impressed with the amount of rice options, the quality of the poke, and the copious amounts of toppings and sauces to choose from. This place was fine for a lunch date where I met up with a friend I hadn't seen in 20+ years. Everything was delicious, though the milk tea with boba was a little too sweet for my taste. Overall, excellent lunch option, albeit a tad expensive for "fast food." My milk tea and regular poke bowl came up to over $22. Certainly worth it, but not a daily go to option on my budget. Def check out poke toki if you're in the area. The food is better than the pun this restaurant is named after. Now turn yourself about, and do the Poke Toki!

Everything was so fresh and delicious with SO many amazing options to add to your bowl. The mini bowl was PLENTY for a lunch, I'm glad I didn't get the next size up. Very clean and peaceful ambience. As my base I got Japchae Noodles with Garlic Oil and Chips. As my protein I got Teriyaki Steak and Chicken done Hawaiian style. For the toppings I chose Mac salad, corn, and sliced onions. Lastly the sauce on top I chose yum yum sauce and teriyaki sauce. This may be an odd combination, but it works. These unique combinations were delicious. I devoured it. The steak and chicken were both high quality and worth it for them alone. I also got an order of a new item for Korean Fried Chicken ($10). The chicken was tiny. However it was fried to perfection and tasted delicious. The garlic soy was a dollar extra, but it definitely paired perfectly with the chicken. I got a can of Root Beer for almost $3. A little pricey, but the only real negative. The service was good with a caveat. I could not hear the lady taking my order, because she talked so quietly. Overall still a 5 star review. Would I return? Absolutely, a unique food experience done in a top notch way.

We got a large bulgogi bowl, mini egg rolls, and sushi. It was all AMAZING! Freshly prepared, good ingredients, good flavors. My hubs usually doesn't like sauces, but loved the sauce served with the egg rolls. The bulgogi bowl was amazing -a lot of food. The sushi was prepared fresh and also delish. The restaurant environment was pleasant and clean. Finally, the worker behind the register was so lovely -he was all smiles and friendliness as he rang us up and prepared our bowl. We will definitely be back!

It's also a really good alternative if you're looking to eat something that doesn't constrict with your diet. I also got their dumplings which I believe are pan-fried however they were a little soft and mushy. Their service was on point and the general area wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be due to location. All in all I would give the food an 8/10 Service 8/10 Ambience 8/10 I would definitely come back and get another no name roll

I ordered takeout and went with the vegetable fried rice and miso soup. It took about 15 minutes for my order to be prepared, which is typical for this place. However, I was disappointed with the fried rice; it was dry and lacked flavor. In the past, I've ordered various sushi and poke dishes, which I highly recommend. I also noticed they recently added bento boxes to the menu, and I think that will be my choice the next time I stop in for a bite to eat.

It is definitely a mom and pop type feel - the servers were also the ones preparing the food, from what I could tell. Since it was not too busy, we were greeted promptly and our food came out pretty quick. We tried the appetizer - Nikojume Tempura. It was deep fried mushrooms stuffed with spicy crab salad, cream cheese, and eel sauce. It was a heavy dish and very rich in flavors. I liked it but it was very filling before the main dish. We tried some Korean dishes - Bulgogi and Japchae. Both were very good with generous portions. Sadly, they do not do banchan (shared small dishes that come with most Korean meals). We truly enjoyed our dining experience at Oppa. They have ample parking. The restaurant is very clean. Staff was friendly and attentive. I would not say it's the best Korean food in Grand Rapids but it was still worthy of 4 stars. We will definitely try to come back and try some of their sushi rolls!
