Also, the lady making the boba tea was very bubbly and made us feel welcome. Keep in mind, the tea is handled in a different part of the restaurant with its own kiosk. I was a bit disappointed because even though the regular comes with 3 scoops of protein, realistically it's not that much. They use the tiniest ice cream spoons scoopers they could find. They cut the fish in big pieces so you get like 3 pieces of fish. Their spicy tuna is a salad and mixed so it's more like a puree. The rice is good. I mixed the rice with some salad greens and that adds a good balance for me. You get 5 toppings to add to your bowl then they charge extra per extra toppings. They also have dry toppings like onions and garlic and it's a good addition and flavor oils too. They also have a boba bar but we didn't try it. They have bottle drinks like coke and teas to purchase on a fridge by the register. The inside is clean and it has enough space but it's not a big place. They have tables and a couch like seating. They do not have outdoor seating. They are in a shopping center so there is plenty of parking spaces. Definitely a busy area but we came after the rush so it was easy get to and to order once there. Overall is an ok place for a lunch meal. I'm not sure if I would pay for the full price but I would get the online deal if available and I'm in the area.

The…read morefirst time I thought my issue was that I ordered a signature bowl via my sister who did a pick up. The bowl was the shrimp tempura and was pretty basic. So on another hospital visit, I stopped on myself and placed my own order. That's when I realized Poke Nash really does have limited ingredients to add to your bowl. No corn, carrots, shredded cabbage, or fried wantons. All the yummy extras I love. So if you want a bowl lacking the yummy extras. Then this is the place for you. But me, I'm eating elsewhere.

For anyone who doesn't know, poke is a Hawaiian-inspired dish made with fresh sushi-grade fish, rice, veggies, sauces, and toppings all mixed into these super flavorful and satisfying bowls. And let me tell you, these bowls were EXACTLY what we needed after leaving another restaurant still hungry and annoyed. The service here was immediately better. We were greeted nicely, our food came out super fast, and the whole experience just felt easy and stress-free. The bowls were fresh, filling, flavorful, and honestly so comforting after the chaos downstairs. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and everything tasted really balanced and delicious. My boyfriend also ordered the gyozas and for a fast casual spot they were surprisingly really good too -- crispy, hot, flavorful, and the perfect side to the bowls. Honestly, if you're around Fifth + Broadway and want something quick, tasty, and actually worth your money, skip the frustration downstairs and just go upstairs to the food hall. Sometimes the "quick food" ends up giving you a way better experience than the full-service restaurant below it.
