Absolutely horrible experience. The sushi was bad--you could tell the salmon was turning. The smell, texture, and taste were all off, and I'm pretty sure most of the fish was not fresh. I only came here because Google shows this place at 4.5 stars, but that rating is completely misleading. This place is nowhere near that. When I went back to politely ask if my poke could be remade with a different cut of salmon, the owner didn't try to fix the issue. Instead, he argued with me and insisted the fish was "still good" because he was eating it. Serving questionable raw fish and then arguing with a customer instead of addressing the concern is unacceptable. Bad food, bad service, and zero accountability. Do not go here. read more

Had a bad feeling about this place. Looks like it's abandoned from the outside. Gave it a shot because of google reviews, only to find out after further investigation their review system isn't up to date. The staff were friendly. That's really it. Prices are very high. The portions are sad. They use a scooper that can only fit a square or 2 of the salmon pieces for everything. You could fit what he put for my three protein choices in the palm of my hand no fingers included. Fish looked like it was going through it already. Their sauces were pretty tasty though. Ordered a baked roll as well. Ate two rolls and tossed the rest. Tasted like butane gas. Probably a bad torch or too much exposure but it's a baked dish which is weird. I have a sour stomach and my girl is very ill. From what I understand this place has been on its way out for sometime but doesn't know when to call it quits. read more

Food is mediocre, staff is very rude and doesn't speak English very well, I paid almost 50 dollars for the two mediocre poke bowls. I asked for spicy mayo sauce and an Asian man said I can't give you any extra sauce we charge, this was a door dash order I called this establishment to make sure I get sauce and he said no, the sauce is on the food, you get no extra sauce. Ordered super Philadelphia and white roll. The white fish was super dry and old tasting. Both rolls tasted old. The texture was terrible, I spit it out twice. The rice was so sticky that you couldn't see the individual grains. It was like one big sticky rice, I can't explain it. I'll never order from here again. read more

The man in the front (I assumed was the owner) had a bit of a language barrier so there was a bit of difficulty with ordering because how loud the acoustics of the place is. When I got our order i legitimately was disappointed with the portion sizing especially for the price range even the pictures on the menu are incredibly deceiving. There was someone on the side eating in the only table setup. I only note that because the place is small and intimate. Not sure if it was a worker (she had a similar uniform as the owner) on the side during her break but she was complaining of her job at the top of her lungs on speaker. This was the closest place so I came here, HUGE MISTAKE! I ordered the medium poke bowl with half salad mix and half white rice. The tuna and salmon both tasted old. After tasting the fish I was ready to gag and toss my plate but it was $19 so decided to eat around the fish. All the other veggies also tasted old. The man threw in some miso soup and that was also disgusting. It tasted like a mix of tap water with a slight tire taste. It was just plain broth with no tofu or seaweed. A cool neighborhood poke and sushi spot, with fresh tasting ingredients that always hit the spot. This restaurant is best as a to-go option, as the seating is pretty limited. Stopping in on a summer day, it was also extremely warm inside. The male employee can be a little rough, he was repeatedly asking us our order although they were serving someone already ahead of us. We would tell him our order and received some quizzical looks from the person ahead of us. No biggie, a little organization could be helpful here. I will order from here again and again for the flavor and consistency of fresh poke! My favorite. Last time I give it a shot!! Again I tried this place after a year to see if maybe it had gotten better!! I don't know how this place is Even open. So they cover the food so you can't see before you order. When they opened it you could see the tuna was old and the shrimp was even yellow!!! So tha was already concerning. But I still gave it another try. Second bite in and STINKY tasting fish. I wanted to GAG but I was at work. I held it down but stopped after that. Don't waste your money. I usually leave pretty positive reviews. This is not the case. The Tofu Poke bowl looked great with a generous proportion thinking, "Lunch Tomorrow!". Nothing about the Poke bowl made me want more of it. I don't think they even tried to add any flavor to the bowl itself. Vegetables tasted old all around. Tofu had zero flavor added to spice it up. My girl ordered the Salmon Roll, looked nothing like the pictures online. She even peeled off the salmon to an oily rice roll. I am genuinely concerned for her stomach tonight. Save the worst for last, One spoon full of the miso soup made me gag. The taste and smell will forever haunt me. Literally only ate 30% of our whole meal. I might not be in line with others, but I really enjoy the fact that the rice is warm. Protein selections are pretty standard as well as the toppings. The space is small and minimal.
