This is my absolute favorite place to grab lunch. Poke & Roll has also become the standard to which I now compare all other Poke bowls. My go-to order is the small poke with brown rice, spicy tuna, shrimp tempura, topped with masago, imitation rice, furikake, crispy onions, ponzu, and eel sauce. Then, I order a side of crispy flakes for the top. It's absolutely decadent and savory and my very favorite lunch order. I typically order it to go, and it always comes beautifully plated and wrapped, with utensils and napkins aplenty. The customer service is excellent, the food is delicious, and the menu has a wide range, so there is truly something for everyone. I love the miso that comes with the poke as well! read more

Absolutely loved the poke here! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and made to order. The portions were generous, the ingredients tasted high quality, and there were so many great toppings and sauces to choose from. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to! read more

Absolutely horrible experience. The sushi was bad--you could tell the salmon was turning. The smell, texture, and taste were all off, and I'm pretty sure most of the fish was not fresh. I only came here because Google shows this place at 4.5 stars, but that rating is completely misleading. This place is nowhere near that. When I went back to politely ask if my poke could be remade with a different cut of salmon, the owner didn't try to fix the issue. Instead, he argued with me and insisted the fish was "still good" because he was eating it. Serving questionable raw fish and then arguing with a customer instead of addressing the concern is unacceptable. Bad food, bad service, and zero accountability. Do not go here. read more

I enjoy the food from Poke & Roll. It's such a healthy choice. The service is always great. Always very generous with the portions. It's a small business. Everything is always fresh. I enjoy the miso soup. It is so flavorful and a great little side dish. A lot of parking. read more

Food is always great! I've been coming every now and then for a few years and they always hook it up with huge portions. I got a Large Poke Bowl with 3 Salmon, Crab and about every topping. Filled me up for the entire day. Everything tasted fresh as well. The rice can be really sticky but I don't mind it. Perfect salmon to rice ratio. And then the ponzu+spicy mayo is just my go to. read more

Was very disappointed with the food today. Grilled salmon was dry & overcooked. Edamame looked old or as though it was reheated, I ate 4 pieces & ended up throwing the rest away. I've walked in & placed orders here several times, however today I decided to use DoorDash. So whether it was the cooks today or the DoorDash driver. Food was not at all good. read more

Only came here cause i had an uber eats voucher that was expiring and i wanted a spicy tuna roll from a place close to the house. Wow, ordering from here was a mistake. Spicy tuna roll was made sloppy and contained very little tuna. Look at the pic! And i asked for my thai tea to be less less sweet and it was 75% condensed milk. Avoid this place read more

Food is mediocre, staff is very rude and doesn't speak English very well, I paid almost 50 dollars for the two mediocre poke bowls. I asked for spicy mayo sauce and an Asian man said I can't give you any extra sauce we charge, this was a door dash order I called this establishment to make sure I get sauce and he said no, the sauce is on the food, you get no extra sauce. What kind of service is this, I will never order there again, I can see this establishment closing down soon because they can't even afford to give you one little plastic cup of sauce wow horrible. read more

Had a bad feeling about this place. Looks like it's abandoned from the outside. Gave it a shot because of google reviews, only to find out after further investigation their review system isn't up to date. The staff were friendly. That's really it. Prices are very high. The portions are sad. They use a scooper that can only fit a square or 2 of the salmon pieces for everything. You could fit what he put for my three protein choices in the palm of my hand no fingers included. Fish looked like it was going through it already. Their sauces were pretty tasty though. Ordered a baked roll as well. Ate two rolls and tossed the rest. Tasted like butane gas. Probably a bad torch or too much exposure but it's a baked dish which is weird. I have a sour stomach and my girl is very ill. From what I understand this place has been on its way out for sometime but doesn't know when to call it quits. read more

Ordered super Philadelphia and white roll. The white fish was super dry and old tasting. Both rolls tasted old. The texture was terrible, I spit it out twice. The rice was so sticky that you couldn't see the individual grains. It was like one big sticky rice, I can't explain it. I'll never order from here again. read more

A cool neighborhood poke and sushi spot, with fresh tasting ingredients that always hit the spot. This restaurant is best as a to-go option, as the seating is pretty limited. Stopping in on a summer day, it was also extremely warm inside. The male employee can be a little rough, he was repeatedly asking us our order although they were serving someone already ahead of us. We would tell him our order and received some quizzical looks from the person ahead of us. No biggie, a little organization could be helpful here. I will order from here again and again for the flavor and consistency of fresh poke! My favorite. I always get the salmon or tuna poke bowl with miso soup, they have three sizes to choose from and different protein options as well as veggies / sauce / base you can add to your bowls. Happy creating! read more

I was in the mood for poke with my fiancé. The man in the front (I assumed was the owner) had a bit of a language barrier so there was a bit of difficulty with ordering because how loud the acoustics of the place is. When I got our order i legitimately was disappointed with the portion sizing especially for the price range even the pictures on the menu are incredibly deceiving. There was someone on the side eating in the only table setup. I only note that because the place is small and intimate. Not sure if it was a worker (she had a similar uniform as the owner) on the side during her break but she was complaining of her job at the top of her lungs on speaker. Gave us the stank eye if we looked at her general direction. That being said the food is decent but really not worth the price. I would say the man is really nice but not much. read more

Im writing this in hopes that people avoid this place and don't get sick. This place is terrible. I started work in the area not too long ago and I was craving poke for lunch. This was the closest place so I came here, HUGE MISTAKE! I ordered the medium poke bowl with half salad mix and half white rice. The tuna and salmon both tasted old. After tasting the fish I was ready to gag and toss my plate but it was $19 so decided to eat around the fish. All the other veggies also tasted old. The man threw in some miso soup and that was also disgusting. It tasted like a mix of tap water with a slight tire taste. It was just plain broth with no tofu or seaweed. I will never come here again and I honestly don't know how they are still in business. Next time I'll drive the extra minutes to a much better place. read more

Last time I give it a shot!! Again I tried this place after a year to see if maybe it had gotten better!! I don't know how this place is Even open. So they cover the food so you can't see before you order. When they opened it you could see the tuna was old and the shrimp was even yellow!!! So tha was already concerning. But I still gave it another try. Second bite in and STINKY tasting fish. I wanted to GAG but I was at work. I held it down but stopped after that. Don't waste your money. I don't like talking bad about places but when ever it this bad and waste of money I have too. I don't know how they are open or health inspectors haven't closed it down yet!!!! read more

I usually leave pretty positive reviews. This is not the case. The Tofu Poke bowl looked great with a generous proportion thinking, "Lunch Tomorrow!". Nothing about the Poke bowl made me want more of it. I don't think they even tried to add any flavor to the bowl itself. Vegetables tasted old all around. Tofu had zero flavor added to spice it up. My girl ordered the Salmon Roll, looked nothing like the pictures online. She even peeled off the salmon to an oily rice roll. I am genuinely concerned for her stomach tonight. Save the worst for last, One spoon full of the miso soup made me gag. The taste and smell will forever haunt me. Literally only ate 30% of our whole meal. Sorry but this place was a huge swing and miss. read more

We ordered from here because we had an Uber eats voucher and sushi sounded good. The pictures online looked great but they're all from 6+ years ago. Ordered a baked salmon roll, it was really greasy and did not taste great. We also got the miso soup, tasted like tap water. Decided not to finish our meal as it didn't seem fresh at all. Won't be eating here again, would suggest driving a little further for something fresher. read more

Absolutely delicious and very generous portions. Price was on par with other poke places I've been too. I got a medium with scallops, octopus and shrimp. Picked up a menu on the way out and noticed that they also have reasonably priced sushi. I will definitely be back here for some poke. Mom and pop shop...time for mom and pop to retire. Walking in there's nowhere to sit, which is fine. The place looks kinda dirty. They have the basic poke selections. I recommend this Poke place in Whittier! Salmon is great!!!! Jay and his wife are the best!

Ooff - hate to leave a bad review but just trust your gut when you walk in and it doesn't smell or look right. Please look for a different spot and don't settle. The fish tasted like it had been left in a microwave after reheating it up - and yes I said that right. read more

I'm only deducting the one star because they charged my credit card twice when they ran out of paper and swiped my card twice without ever reversing the second charge on my account. The food is good. I might not be in line with others, but I really enjoy the fact that the rice is warm. Protein selections are pretty standard as well as the toppings. The space is small and minimal. There is one table with two regular seats and a counter with a few stools. Overall, a good poke restaurant in an area with very few. read more

I love their poke bowl. I have been back several times now and have always been greeted with enthusiasm and smiles from the gentleman and the woman at the counter (I'm assuming they are the owners). His energy is awesome! The food is great. I always get spicy tuna and salmon and leave 100% satisfied. Super delicious. Great flavor.
