Although we understand the reasons why our doctor moved away and then left us having to build a new relationship with Dr Howidi. It's something that isn't always welcome in a life that is busy with a child who has high medical needs. We transferred both our daughters over. The transition was easy. We had an appointment, booked to initially meet and go over the needs in our family with both kids. Dr Howidi is very friendly, very calm, listens well, and is very warm. We found his staff to be very thorough, quick and very friendly. It was recommended to meet in three more months to follow up and check in again. We had some bumps along the road with some medical issues arising, and Dr Howidi was very thorough before making recommendations. Of course he had to learn, go over the history and make a decision before he can make a recommendation. I appreciated his processes. As time has passed, and new diagnosis has become known about our daughter. He has been wonderful with making referrals on his own or ones I come to him requesting for. Dr Howidi isn't someone that we consult for answers we work together as a team. A month ago through networking and investing time on my own I have come across a different specialty we haven't consulted with an outstanding issue we are having. I requested him to send us to an infectious disease specialist, and he wasn't sure. He wasn't convinced. But he did it anyways at my request. That's a team. Dr Howidi is far from a doctor who is inflexible. He understands that parents know their kids best. He may not have said this but making the referral to the infectious disease specialist showed me that. He trusts my research, experience, history, and time together with my daughter, to know that making that referral when he didn't quite agree Was still worth that effort. This week my neurotypical daughter struggled very difficulty with a relentless unknown terrible virus. We did not have any booked appointments with him, but seen him twice in a walk-in clinic type setting at the very beginning of the day. Urgent and acute illnesses within a child can be seen in his office with no appointment. We were dealt with very swiftly and very thoroughly. I really can't thank him enough for all that he has, and continues to do for our children and our community. What's his office busy? Of course! Was it bursting at the seams with children and parents coming in for booked appointments and also acutely sick children for a walk in? Of course! It's obvious that we need more pediatricians in the area. This is not a fault of Dr Howidi or his staff. We are thankful, grateful and appreciative of Dr Howidi and his staff.

I have referred more people to this practice over the course of my childrens life than I can count. My son recently developed severe anxiety onset by Covid and then the mass high school shooting in Oxford. His sister was yanked out of a bathroom at school and thrown into a random classroom and put in lock down for over 30 minutes because of a threat at the school. No one knew what was going on and it was terrifying. He is now in therapy and the therapist recommended he be put on medication to aleviate it. I just got off the phone with Dr. Francis. She informed me that they do not prescribe medication for anxiety to their patients. They won't prescribe medication that my son needs for his mental health. Medication that I know will help him, because I am on it. I have anxiety. My anxiety in under control thanks to my Doctor who knew I was stuggling and knows how important mental health is. Doctors should care and worry and treat our mental health. Funny thing is Dr. Francis said she has no problem prescribing Adderrall to her patients. Frickin adderall. My best friend was prescribed Adderall, she became an addict and died at the age of 25. Adderall is a gate way drug. Dr. Francis disagrees. Dr. Francis has probably never had a friend become an addict and die from it. Dr. Francis needs to do better. #Mentalhealthmatters I took my children out of the practive today and they want to charge me for their records. HAHA. Steer clear of this place. They turned a…read morefriend of mine away after agreeing to see her daughter when they wanted to wait on vaccinating. Then when they got to the office they told her they would not see her daughter because she isn't vaccinated. (Meanwhile she's only 2 weeks old so the only vaccine she hasn't received is hep b and vitamin k). Today we went to have our 2 month check up and they told us they wouldn't see her because there's an issue with my insurance. Thanks for the heads up! We were in the parking lot, and the only notification I got about the issue was a text saying "please call front desk regarding insurance issue" 2 days before the appointment. When I tried to call I was on hold for 29 minutes without ever speaking to anyone. So I hung up figuring we'd work it out at her appointment. Funny that they turned her away for not vaccinating and turned us away on vaccination day. Thanks for nothing scumbags. We are looking for a new office with doctors that care

She spends considerable time with you and is very thorough. Her office takes all kinds of insurance. Minor test are done right in the office. She truly cares about her patients. When she does refer you to a specialist believe it will be a physician that is top notch. Your office visit may be a little long because she is thorough not condensing your care. You can't get a better doctor.

So I had my first visit to this office a few days ago. Just to paint the picture I have no health…read moreinsurance and am low income. This office excepts insurance of course but without it you pay based on a sliding scale. Basically you will pay $20-$100 depending on your income. My first impression was good. Easy to find the place. Easy to park and the lot is not massive so you don't have to walk a mile to the building. When I walked in it wasn't totally clear where to go but I saw some other people waiting and found my way. No big deal. The guy at the front desk was very nice. Clearly explained the paperwork and was friendly. I had an appointment so I was a little annoyed that the doctors were at lunch until about 45 min after my appointment time. I work with doctors so I wasn't totally surprised by that. Once I went to the back the medical assistant (I'm assuming) who took my vitals was also very nice and efficient. The doctor was also nice. She was very to the point. The exam room was pretty typical. Nothing note worthy about it bad or good. I was disappointed to find out they couldn't address my main reason for going because it required tests they won't do without insurance. The secondary issue was addressed and treated. I was referred to make an appointment to see a staff member that is supposed to help me find insurance so those test can be done. Over all it was a good experience.
