My family has been a customer of this cleaning service company for over 3 years, We had a bi-weekly…read morecleaning contract with them. First, I will say that all the staff is friendly and hard-working. However, when we first started with them, they would show up late, always have different personnel and even broke one of my master bathroom light fixtures so much that I'm still waiting to replace it. Even so, we kept our contract with them because of the staff. During our time with them, they have also had employee turnover and a fairly hefty price increase. What was the straw that broke the camel's back was, we recently had to reschedule one of their cleaning days since we were going to be out of town on business. They were only able to offer one other rescheduling day for the entire month and it that wouldn't work for us. We were forced to skip a cleaning even though I contacted them 5 days prior notice and offered to fit them in any other day. At our next regularly scheduled day, the owner contacted us and demanded an extra $100.00 for a SO called cancellation fee (the difference between a bi-weekly cleaning $200 and one monthly cleaning $300). I did not feel this was justified because we would have gladly let them come any other day, or time, in-between our next scheduled cleaning. I told her we would pay it but I did not agree with her argument. Payment should only be made when a service is performed. I feel sure her employees are not paid on salary and are paid on an hourly basis so I don't fully believe this fee goes to them. If you use this company, I would highly recommend you discuss this cancellation fee with her in the beginning so that you don't get into the same situation as we have. I don't this company handles their business in a professional manner and would not recommend them to anyone.

I recommend Carolina Prestine Clean for it's, um, Pristine way of doing things... and I mean that…read morestarting from the process of booking all the way through the job, they made our lives easier at a very hectic time. We found ourselves in the position of needing to host TWO major events around the December holidays at our home, with at least a couple dozen people at each. Including one that required an in-home chef service. We do a good job of keeping the house tidy, but aren't great at the detailed jobs like cleaning baseboards, dusting, etc. We simply wanted a really good deep clean of the downstairs where we would be hosting. We used Yelp's request a quote tool for this need, and I have to say. I love it. My request was immediately pushed out to area vendors big and small and I got about 5 responses within a half hour, complete with quotes and answers to all my questions. This is our fourth time doing this. We will keep doing it. It made the booking process easy to essentially text with businesses rather than play phone tag. Some wanted too much money for a one time clean, others would not do it at all unless they could do the entire house, presumably to talk us into a monthly cleaning subscription. CPC answered my questions and provided a very simple hourly rate with a minimum of two hours. They were available, and this was perfect for us. The ladies who arrived were very professional and got to work right away while we worked our home-based jobs. They only interrupted when the given tasks were completed and asked if we had more work for them since we had another half hour left. I appreciated their diligence and work ethic as we were DEFINITELY not watching them, and they could have just coasted through that last half hour. Instead they cleaned our guest bathroom. Lovely bonus. While I didnt slap on a white glove, it was obvious the downstairs was much more clean than before. Thanks to all the detail above, I would highly recommend CPC to others, and am even considering hiring them to do something like a monthly cleaning.

Our cats have to work really hard to put their scent back on everything. Speaking of pets, not only do they love animals, but everything they use in their cleaning is free of harsh and non-pet safe chemicals. Their rate is reasonable, and they're just the kind of local people you would want to support. Highly recommended!
