Today while PCH had a hard close because of rain, Ogden Cleaners charged my partner's credit card (that they had on file) for the dry cleaning of the table cloth that hadn't been picked up yet. They charged them without contacting us at all. Despite no longer having a table, we of course intended to collect the table cloth that they had cleaned as soon as it were possible, since we are no longer living in Malibu due to the destruction of our house. I tell this story to urge others to not store a credit card on file with Ogden's as I consider this an abuse of the honor system. Under the current circumstances created by the fire, of limited access to Malibu from elsewhere, as well as this client's inability to prioritize picking up the tablecloth, it would have been more appropriate to call us with a reminder to pick up the table cloth and let us know that if we were not able to at this time that we would be charged for it. Instead, there was no attempt at contact and I was charged without notification and without my consent. I write to warn others of Ogden's dishonest business practices and insensitivity to our community at this difficult time.

So I don't see how they can advertise as using "free and clear" detergent. Doesn't that mean scent-free? Family medical issues have resulted in home chores, one of which was laundry, taking a back seat. So I was very happy to find a service that would take care of this task for me. I went with Wash Wizards based on the stellar reviews, the convenience of no-contact pick-up and drop-off, the free and clear detergent (aka scent-free), and the free cloth laundry bag that was supposed to come with the delivery of my first order that would then allow me to fill the bag with the items I wanted to have washed. I placed my order (bedding and bath rugs) on Friday for a Saturday pick-up. And since this was my first order, I placed my laundry in trash bags outside my front door. I just put everything in the bags. The order was picked up before noon and delivered today (Monday) before noon as well. Now, according to the website "Everything comes back to you folded and packaged in a cloth laundry bag that is provided free of charge." However, mine did not. Instead, everything came packaged in one large clear plastic bag that was knotted so tight that I had to use scissors to get the laundry out. In terms of quality of services, they did a great job folding the sheets, but there was a definite scent on the laundry. Also, I can only suppose that they washed everything (rather than separating by colors) in hot water because my pale pink sheets and floral sheets looked duller, and my slate blue sheets had clearly faded. Again, having not used a laundry service before, if I needed to separate the washing into separate bags, that would have been helpful to have included in the FAQ. And I guess I have been so used to washing in cold water that I didn't think of adding that to my order - so I'll take the blame for that - but perhaps updating the website order page to include that as an option to select, because when you are busy with other things that you need a laundry service, adding notes to your laundry is the last thing on your mind. Finally, the lack of a laundry bag bugged me, especially since the website specifically promised one as coming with the first order.

They shrunk and discolored everything. It was so wrinkled it must've been left in a washer overnight. We specifically requested cold water. They must've used hot water and Hugh dryer heat. Only some of the machines take credit card with an app but you can always get cash at atm next door. There are always quarters available in the coin machine. The owner is the nicest man and has the nicest regular customers that go here. It's one of the cleanest laundromats I've been too. Everything you need is right there and if not I love the convenience of the store. It's a really chill atmosphere and always an enjoyable experience considering you're doing laundry! I drive out of my way to go here because it's more comfortable for me. There is also a laundry service where you can drop off your clothes and pick them up. There is always parking available and multiple restaurants. Always feel safe here. I love this place!

The entire payment system and machines are digital high tech with no cash required. Cindy knows these machines and the day to day operation and truly exhibits stellar customer service. I highly recommend this facility and ask for Cindy as she will guide you through the process if you are a newbie. We washed our bedding, mattress pad, comforters and blankets. The machines are all high capacity and the dryers have the reversing feature which is beneficial as well. Great place, customer service and ambiance. Good music and a nice sitting area and bartop area with big screen TVs and folding tables. Also snack machines. Clearly the nicest laundry facility I have been at.
