I have had a certain amount of anxiety about having the POD dropped off at my property, but all of the anxiety disappeared after I met the driver, Kyle. As the driver, he was by himself, and he explained everything about how he would maneuver the PODzilla to put the container where I wanted it. The entire process, including answering all of my questions, took maybe 30 minutes. In today's world for this 74-year-old, having good communication with the business is the only way to thrive. Tom was very nice and extremely helpful when delivering my POD. He had to figure out a place on my awkward driveway to set the pod where I could still get into it and where it would not ruin the grass. He was also concerned about my health in the hot weather and made sure to remind me to drink lots of water when I was unloading the POD. He is 5 stars in my book read more

I had to call more than 10 times in regards to my PODS because their customer service representatives kept screwing up the order. After finally getting delivery of my POD to my final destination, I could not get the company to pick it back up. It sat in my driveway for almost 2 weeks because of all of the mistakes that their customer service team made in regards to the move. I called repeatedly asking them to schedule the pickup and they kept pushing the pickup farther and farther out. Their total incompetence is staggering and I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN! read more

Title: Disappointing Customer Service Experience with PODS I recently had an unfortunate experience with PODS, and I must say that their customer service was severely lacking in several aspects. From start to finish, the entire process left a lot to be desired, and it is with disappointment that I share my encounter with this company. Communication was one of the major issues throughout my interaction with PODS. It was incredibly difficult to reach a live representative. I experienced extended hold times and multiple transfers between departments, which only added to my frustration. When I did manage to speak with someone, the level of customer service was lacking in professionalism and empathy. The representatives seemed disinterested and indifferent to my concerns, making me feel undervalued as a customer. Furthermore, the lack of transparency regarding pricing and sizing were concerning. I contacted PODS to determine appropriate sizing for my 1 bedroom apartment. I fully explained to the representative that I had large furniture to include a large sectional and king size bedroom furniture just to name a few. The representative assured me that the 8X8 POD would be sufficient. THAT WAS A LIE. Upon delivery , I immediately observed the unit was extremely to small. After further research I discovered that an 8X8 POD would be more appropriate for a studio apartment between 500-800 squared feet!!!! I made multiple attempts to contact PODS and was not successful. I already had movers scheduled /which could not be cancelled without costing me additional fees. I had no choice but to seek out additional means to move the rest of my items which cost me significant additional fees. additionally I Initially , thought I had a clear understanding of the costs involved, but additional fees and charges seemed to appear out of nowhere. The discrepancy between the initial estimate and the final billing was substantial, and PODS failed to provide a satisfactory explanation for these unexpected costs. When I finally spoke with customer service, I was assured that the matter would be escalated. IT WASN'T. I have called countless times to have this matter resolved , and EVERYTIME, I am informed that an "email " is being sent out the either the escalation team or resolution/dispute team. NO ONE HAS FOLLOWED UP!!!! This all began on 09/16/2023. Its not 10/06/2023 and I still have not had this matter resolved. In summary, my experience with PODS was marked by poor customer service, communication issues, and unexpected additional costs and incompetent customer services agents. I would advise potential customers to thoroughly research and consider alternative options before committing to services with PODS. Do not use this company in east central Florida. The driver damaged the gutters on drop off in May. He noted the damage on his paperwork, and we were given a claim number. Now our emails and calls are being ignored. It has been two months since these damaged occurred. They couldn't care less. read more

I'm giving this company one star because they did drop off and pickup then deliver my POD on the requested dates. My major complaint is with their customer service. IF THEY DAMAGE YOUR PROPERTY, THEY WON'T MAKE IT RIGHT. When the POD was delivered to my new address, the driver hit my clay tile roof and broke several tiles. He called me immediately to inform me and apologize. He left a form letter with the contact information of local management in the door. I called the next day and was told it would be passed to customer service for resolution and I should hear from someone within 48 hours. THAT NEVER HAPPENED. I learned later that that manager was no longer with the company. After several weeks and many calls I received a request for information about the damage. I sent it immediately along with a roofers quote to fix it. It has been over two months and I have had no response. They do not stand behind their service. BEWARE USING THE POD COMPANY. read more

It was perfect. We moved elderly parents furniture from Memphis to FL. The POD arrived on time, the unit was placed for easy access. Fit tons of stuff and was easy to load, no climbing. Was delivered to storage in Florida, also close to where we were actually moving them. The load barely shifted during transfer, amazing. The local POD's guys made it easy for me to call ahead so they could move POD down so I could access the POD and remove items as I needed them. Then when the finall move came they were very prompt. I wish you served more cities. My family needed this in Elmira NY and was not available, we had to use a trailer that was dock height and so wished for the POD. Thank you. Absolutely zero customer service when I called and asked for an accommodation in regards to moving my time they just repeated my original time back to me and told me that was all I could have done for me which I do not feel is customer service they also told me they would make me the last person to be picked up on a certain day when my iPod was packed and I was definitely not the case in which case they do not follow through on their own words which makes them untrustworthy all pods are affiliated to one central call center so therefore they are all libel to the same scrutiny. I will definitely take time to make sure that back in San Jose it is well known at the same level as a non customer service was given to me I will also find any other part of Philly is that I can and make sure that the one star rating is applied however I must a individual who delivered my ipod to my original home of the individual who delivered my ipod after across in the country are both very nice people and I did not treat them rudely in any anyway read more
