It has taken me awhile to decide if I wanted to write a review, but still having complications 2 years later made me feel that a review should be left. Back in 2024 I came to Dr. Clymer with severe foot pain and a bone disorder in both of my feet. I was standing on my feet for long hours of my job and couldn't bear the pain any longer. After imaging, he told me I would need to have reconstructive surgery on my left foot as my condition was severe, and if I didn't get this done I may not be walking well in my 30s...this surgery was completed a few months after I turned 22 years old. He felt confident that him and his team could complete this surgery that I needed and did not disclose that this was more of an orthopedic complex surgery that should have been done by an orthopedic foot surgeon. He did massive reconstructive surgery to my left foot, putting metal in, a tendon transfer, and doing a joint fusion in my outer ankle with cadaver bone. I constantly complained of severe pain for months on end and was not able to advance in PT and get out of my boot. Well, that was because the cadaver bone that was put in wasn't fused to my bones with hardware during surgery and therefore my body rejected it and it did not take. Amongst all this pain, Dr. Clymer and his PT Julie, continued to tell me to push through and that the pain would get better and that I had no restrictions. I ended up slipping in the shower and developed severe pain that went on for several months while being ignored. At 7 months post op after complaining of this pain and no end in sight he finally ordered a CT scan. The CT confirmed a non-union in the joint fusion at 7 months post op to which he then ordered a bone stimulator which did nothing as the cadaver bone had nothing to grasp to. Overtime, the cadaver bone disintegrated and I could no longer walk without a boot. All of 2025 was spent in a walking boot which resulted in a second surgery with a different orthopedic surgeon in August of 2025, almost a year since my first surgery. The new surgeon had to redo my entire foot as my case was so severe and complex he had to get an additional team to help him look at my foot and decipher how to fix what Dr. Clymer had done. I put so much faith into Dr. Clymer and trusted him and his team and did not know any better at the time. To this day in April 2026 I am permanently disabled and worse off now than before the surgery all because this office didn't disclose they can't perform such an intense complex surgery and direct me to an orthopedic. This office could be good for ingrown toenails or orthotics but I highly suggest not getting surgery here as my surgery was not performed well, nor did it have a chance at success. read more

I was finally called by their office over two weeks later to schedule what was a referral to see them they finally called me a week later after I had left a message and I don't know if it was a bad connection or just a lazy person on the phone tried calling them back five times when the message on the phone picked up, soundslike she was dead, tired and too busy to talk to anyone else I hung up. Tried it again. try again tried three more times I'm done with this office. read more

I came to Podiatry Associates for Plantar Fasciitis that I've been experiencing since late December. I am a high level athlete and was struggling with the injury and inability to train and manage the symptoms of PF. At the initial consult appointment, I worked with Dr. Rosenthall at the Denver Office. He was very attentive and laid out a plan to treat my PF, confident I would recover before the start of my season and that I would be back on the field shortly. The initial appointment was about 30 minutes, he answered all questions I had, evaluated my feet, took x-rays, etc. I left feeling very confident about my recovery and happy to have a straightforward plan. Unfortunately, all appointments following were severely disappointing. I followed Dr. Rosenthall's advice to return to my sport, and experience significant pain when doing so, to the point I believe I regressed which impeded my recovery further. At the first follow-up, he suggested the custom orthotics to be the solution - I would be back in no time. These orthotics cost $600 with insurance and came branded with a Podiatry and Associates logo. He spent a total of 10 minutes or less, did not evaluate my feet, simply retaped them and promised the orthotics would be the magic touch. 3-weeks later I received the orthotics with instruction to break them in, but in the intermediary went to see a PT who suggested simply stretching without strengthening was not the most up-to-date treatment for PF, particularly for high level athletes - something I reminded Dr. Rosenthall routinely at our appointments. At my last appointment, I brought up continued pain and seeing my PT for strengthening - he didn't evaluate my feet, ask follow up questions, or want to progress in any way even though the initial appointment he indicated we would progress to different treatments after 3 weeks. I went to see Dr. Rosenthall for the initial evaluation in late April, followed his guidance to a T until now, and have still been unable to return to play. He promised at the initial meeting I'd be back in no time, and if I hadn't progressed we would move on to more intensive forms of treatment, something he had not suggested other than wearing my $600 orthotics. I have pursued other treatment options and thought about going to my next appointment to let him know this, but did not want to give another dime to this practice. Dr. Rosenthall is only in 2-days per week, in which he sees double the patients - hence why he is in and out as quickly as possible after the initial appointment. All signs point to this practice being a mill for people with foot issues, and it is not surprising in the least that there are negative reviews on this site. I would implore anyone looking for relief for Plantar Fasciitis to find a different practice. read more

This clinic is beyond unprofessional! I would not waste your time with them unless you want to deal with a malpractice suit. This clinic severed the physician-patient relationship and abandoned a patient needing medical attention without giving proper notice or adequate amount of time to find another physician. Their practices are UNACCEPTABLE. read more

It's been nearly two years since I had bunion and hammer toe surgery performed by Dr. Daniel. After what was estimated to be a 6-8 week recovery, I stopped follow up appointments with him at about 16-18 weeks post-surgery when he suggested the recurrence of my hammer toe was due to possible scar tissue and dismissed the continued inward angle of my big toe/bunion recurrence. I knew this wasn't right! Since then I have never been able to walk without pain. Over the past year, I've sought out multiple opinions from other surgeons and all have recommended I need corrective surgery from the surgery I received from Dr. Daniel - to fix the bunion and repair the second toe which was left dislocated. He didn't correct the problem and left my foot in worse condition than when I first met with him. My experience was far from positive and I do not recommend Podiatry Associates nor Dr. Daniel for surgery. read more

The absolute worst billing department I have ever dealt with. I have explained to them over and over again what my insurance needed for billing. Great first appointment. Problem is I was not made aware of what my insurance would cover. Instead of reviewing the costs, I received a bill. I called the office before my second appointment to ask what the estimated costs were going to be. I was told to call my insurance company. I asked what I should I ask my insurance company for coverage on and and a very rude employee named TAYLOR said she didn't know what they were going to do when I came in, which meant I had no idea what to talk to my insurance company about. Rather than trying to help me, the rude TAYLOR put me through to someone's voicemail. TAYLOR ruined my experience and I cancelled my appointment. Long story short, find another podiatrist. read more

Let me start out with saying that there is nothing sub par about the doctors or the assistants. They are all great and I LOVED Dr Daniel - I was going to have him do a total toe replacement in January. Aside from the expensive boot and sock they gave me, which landed me a bill of $467 (aside from all CIGNA insurance paid) - I called and left several messages with no call back. I needed to verify the bill and see if I could make some payments with the bill being so high. I called CIGNA and they said that the bill is correct and that is what Podiatry Assoc. CAN charge for boot ($600 and a sock $140) - after CIGNA kicked in, my portion was $467. You can get these items on Amazon for less than $100 just for information on anyone reading this. I was an idiot. The most frustrating part is that they have an employee by name of Jason who works in billing. The front desk lady was so kind and said hey I just talked to Jason on the phone, he said absolutely no payment plans - so basically pay up. She said I just spoke to Jason, let me transfer you to him - he neglected to take my call and sent me to vm. I left a message and he never called me back. In summary, it is sad that this facility has the experienced doctors, the great medical assistants and great front desk clerks - but when you have a nightmare with billing and customer service in the back, and zero call backs, a client won't come back. I will not come back here to do my complete toe joint replacement - which would have landed them a nice profit. I have set up an appointment with a new doctor. Sad because I liked Dr. Daniel. Maybe he needs to see how his dealings are taken care of with patients because he is losing business. I was referred by a coworker and she also has changed practices due to same issue and the fact that they will do ultrasounds for EVERY shot they give, which is more money out of pocket. Brought our daughter in due to some foot pain. We were brought back into the room and the nurse asked why we were there. My wife replied my daughter had a painful bunion and would like some suggestions to remedy the issue. The nurse left the room and came back and replied let's take some X-rays . We replied I don't think that's necessary we just want the doctor to look as we know it's a bunion just want to relieve the pain. She stated no worries and did the X-rays anyway. We never saw the X-ray , doctor confirms the bunion, and says a 14 year old needs surgery after a 10 minute consult. Her foot is still growing, no surgery, it's a bunion. Then he says overnight splints may help , insurance can cover, we asked before we left for an itemized bill since the whole thing sounded sketchy. 6 months later, no bill sent to the house, bill sent from collection agency actually 6 separate bills totaling $350 for no service what so ever. No breakdown of what the bill is for, never saw the X-ray, never got a bill sent. Called the good dr. For an itemized bill 2 weeks ago no one will call back. We'll pay the bill but this shop is shady and should have the guts to call back when customers want an itemized bill. read more

They did it to my wife, threaten collections for her $35 deductible that they didn't ask for on her visit, followed by the worst, to my 85 year old mother, who they tried to sell unnecessary vascular surgery to, for a balance of less than $5, they threatened sending it into collections. I really liked the doctor, and appreciated that they do an ultrasound right away so it's not a guessing game. But my frustration is more with their office. They never answer the phone. It always goes to an answering service. Then they decide when/if to call you back. I've been trying to get someone in billing to call me back for days now and have had no luck. I have sent several people to Dr. Clymer. I called and made an appointment for plantar fasciitis after not wanting to deal with the pain anymore. It was so severe I was put in a walking boot to give it a rest, I did physical therapy once a week and eventually got EPAT or shock wave therapy. This is a treatment that isn't covered by insurance so it's the last thing that Dr. Clymer wanted to try. After 3 treatments pain was essentially gone! Can't remembered the last time my foot felt like this! I have a job where I stand up all day everyday so it's really hard on my feet. For 3 months I had no pain at all. After being lazy about stretching and wearing shoes I know aren't the best I was starting to experience a little bit of pain so I went in for a touch up treatment. Once again pain free! Soooooo thankful for Dr. Fawson and the staff at Podiatry Associates! I had 2 surgeries and nearly 2 years in a walking boot by my previous doctor's recommendation before I was fed up with not getting better. A friend referred me to Podiatry Associates and they were quick to get me in for a second opinion. Dr. Fawson is friendly and very professional. He recommended surgery for my injury and was quick to schedule and get my healing process started. He is very thorough, polite and answers all my questions. His assistant, Taylor is so kind and patient as well. I had surgery almost 2 weeks ago now and recovery is going great. He assured me that I'll be recovered in no time and back to the things I enjoy doing. Everyone here from the receptionists to the assistants to the doctors are all so knowledgeable and kind. Even when I called the on-call doctor because I was in pain the night after surgery, he was very thorough with instructions and assured me I could call him anytime with questions. I'm so incredibly thankful for everyone here and excited to be on the road to recovery! read more

How do you let someone schedule a surgery for their loved one, knowing what insurance they had at the time, then cancel the surgery and not tell the family beforehand?!!!! Beware - This doctor seems to be very adept at prescribing medical devices that are covered by insurance at exorbitant prices. This practice charged my insurance over $400 each for two boots that are $20 online, and didn't bother to inform me at the time of service! They then accepted the return of the boots yet refused to credit my account! When I told Dr. Classen that I already had purchased a pair of night splints, she said it was no good and said to another doctor, "Did you know that those aren't even covered by insurance?" Very weird that she knows which boots are covered and which are not! Weird that she wouldn't even for a second, consider that my splints may be fine. Weird that she wouldn't recommend the $20 online splints that are identical to hers, thereby saving her patients money. Weird that she wouldn't say that they would bill my insurance $850 for these two pieces of plastic junk that due to my PPO, would net her $260 instead of their $40 true value!!! Weird that she puts her profit from her patients above proper care, which should include doing the right thing financially as well as medically. This practice appears to be a shining example of why medical costs have skyrocketed for patients. Their logic seems to be that if insurance pays, the patient will be ok with whatever the cost! I have a pair of these "super splints" that are brand new, never worn. So, if anyone out there is prescribed splints by this doctor, refuse them and their exorbitant cost because I'll give these new ones to you for free! read more

I'll start out by saying my mom has gone to 2 doctors here who were fair. The second one put a splint on my mom without telling me the price and later found out that we were charged 4x as much as the item cost. However, I decided to go back because they're close to home and asked for a different doctor. That's when we were blessed to meet Dr. Daniel Clymer. OMG! He was caring, attentive, patient, and spoke directly to my mom, instead of about her as though she wasn't in the room. He asked me about her history (which the others didn't) and made her feel important and cared for. I wish all her doctors were like him. I pray that he doesn't leave this practice but if he does, we'll follow him. Thank you Dr. Clymer. You're wonderful and such a good example of what a doctor should be. read more

Although I have not enjoyed needing a podiatrist for my broken foot, I have GREATLY enjoyed getting to know the wonderful staff at all 3 Podiatry Associates locations. Castle Pines is my favorite location as it is close to my house and boasts amazing customer service from JJ, Lisa, Sophie and Kelly. I always feel welcome and comfortable for my appointments. Very professional atmosphere with competent care. Any question or concerns I've asked have been either answered on the spot or within the same business day. Beware! I have had several injections in my foot for pain relief. In January my charges for the same service went from $95 to $500 for one office visit. This is due to the fact that they are now requiring all doctors use ultrasound equipment to guide injections whether the doctor thinks they need it or not. No warning, no notification to customers of the new procedure, just a whopping bill! Also, when I moved to a different Podiatrist, I learned that my tendonitis should not have been treated with steroid injections. If you are looking for doctors are who really listen and provide the best possible care for you as a person, this is NOT the place! The positive...Dr. O is very kind, caring and seems to be an excellent Poditrist. Now the negative... Problem 1: 1) On my first visit, I sat in the waiting room for one hour and thirty minutes while patient after patient was called back to the exam rooms. The receptionist was very sweet and went back to the exam rooms several times to see what the hold up was. She didn't know what the hold up was but said it would only be a few more minutes. All said and done, I was at the office for 2 1/2 hours. Problem 2: Dr. O suggested I "try" a night splint and a walking boot. I did not think to ask the cost of these two products as she was very upfront with me about the cost of orthotics. However, I never imagined there would be such an inflated cost! Much to my surprise, my insurance company was billed $425 for the night splint and $75 for one sock. My portion was $165 plus my copay. I went home and did a quick search on the Internet only to discover that the exact night splint from the same medical supply company in Colorado Springs sells the splint for $12.08! That's a 400% mark-up! I could have ordered it on line and paid $12.08 plus shipping, but instead paid the doctor $165. I've called the office and left a message for their billing/insurance person to call me but she has not returned my call. I realize that doctors, hospitals and insurance companies inflate charges of treatment, but this is ridiculous! read more

Had my heel pain treated at Podiatry Associates in Castle Pines. Seen Dr O who explained the issues with my heel pain very clearly and in terms I could understand. After getting diagnosed with plantar fasciitis I was fitted with a pair of custom orthotics. They have their own lab so turnaround was about 10 days and the custom orthotics really made a big difference in my heel pain. The office was very nice and the staff was always helpful. Although the medical service provided by Podiatry Assoc. is fair (not great), this medical office is probably the most disorganized and chaotic I have ever experienced. Here are just a few examples that occurred in a four month period: * The office believed the proposed service would be authorized by insurance and would call and advise if not covered. The office never called. Service was not covered by insurance. I paid $500 out of pocket. * I made an appointment made at one site, but the doctor decided to be at the other site that day. Several patients this day showed up wondering if they had mistakenly gone to the wrong office (including myself). The mistake was by the office staff in booking patients to the wrong office. * Missing blood test results in the patient file. After some digging in other places, the office was able to find the missing results. It turns out they prescribed a medicine without confirming required blood test lab results. That is just dangerous. The bloodwork was just fine, but they did not know this when prescribing the medicine. * An appointment was made to pick up a product and receive doctor's counseling on use. Again, doctor was at the other office - and so was the product! A PA spent 90 seconds discussing product use so that the product could be picked up at a later date at the other office. The charge was $85 for this 90 second PA 'counseling' session. There are four or five additional incidents of office mis-management in the last 12 months, but I'll spare you the details. We are now looking for a different Podiatrist. read more

She saw me for about 20 seconds (no exaggeration) and I ended up paying $270 out of pocket for a boot that didn't end up solving the problem. If you do make an appointment here, be sure to verify the treatment they are suggesting is covered by insurance. Also, be prepared with specific questions as you will not receive any explanations or suggestions without asking for them. read more

Dr. O and her team gave me my life back. I had been battling the world's most stubborn case of plantar fasciitis for a year and a half, gotten surgery that was unsuccessful, and was truly at the end of my rope when Dr. O and her team began treating me. She tried many more conservative methods before finally resorting to surgery again. This time it was successful! I am in shoes again and I can begin returning to the activities I love. I will start with the good, please read on for the very bad. Setting an appointment was easy and pleasant and they got me in quick to be seen for my heel pain. The visit itself was good, like the Doc very much. Now for the bad, I got my bill and my insurance paid for nothing and the boot I was given came at an premium, $22.00 on Amazon and $124.59 from the provider. Had they told me what I was going to pay over a $100 more I would have ordered it on Prime and got it the next day! Oh wait it gets better, I called to set up another appointment and when I asked if the orthotics would be covered they wouldn't tell me over the phone even thought they had already checked with my insurance and knew they weren't, they told me I had to come into the office, when I asked if this was a follow up visit they said no it would require a co-pay. Two weeks later I got another bill for twice the amount of the first, when I called to ask about it the office manager was very rude the entire call and said it was all on me. When will doctors learn that they are less trusted than lawyers and used car salesmen? Full disclosure and transparency are not practiced by this office. read more

They charged my insurance 350.00 for my first visit. My insurance paid 140 and I had to pay 210 out of pocket. I called later and asked if I didn't have insurance, how much would they charge me. They said 90.00! Wow. I ended up owing 663.91 with insurance. If I had paid cash from the beginning, it would have been 300. They wouldn't work with me to get a solution. Thanks for nothing. Recently was seen in the Castle Pines location. The office is beautiful, but don't let that fool you. I was greeted and taken back by a sweet, professional assistant.. She made sure I was comfortable and initially I was impressed. When the Dr came in she was extremely disrespectful to her assistant and was harshly scolding her about the chair position. You could see the girl was smiling and remaining calm, but truly embarrassing for her. If she treats her employees this way in front of me instead of taking the time to take care of me as the patient, I question her patience and ignorance of what I was there for. I truly feel this Dr was rude and fake and could use some skills in treating her staff with respect. This left a bad taste in my mouth.
