My sister doesn't mind being outside, but I love some AC. She spotted this cute little shop on the opposite side of the square, so we decided to check it out. Once we entered, it felt magical. The staff told us about every item in the case, and we were overwhelmed with choices. Since it was so hot, we didn't want to have too much sugar, as we were already feeling drained. The Dubai chocolate bear was the only thing worth eating and had a good crunch to the pistachio, but the price was still absurd. The second time I went, I was hoping for a better experience, but was disappointed again. This interaction was much more awkward, as the girl behind the counter stood at the register the whole interaction and didn't say much of anything to me. I got the Dubai bear again, a slice of nutella kunafa, and a Dubai brownie. The bear and kunafa were pretty good if you're a texture eater, like me. The brownie on the other hand, was stale and lacked cohesion. It was just some pistachio mix sandwiched between two dry brownies and tasted nothing like Dubai chocolate.
