Her having mobility and cognitive issues, makes this a little difficult. The associate at the bank, (Kenya) was more than patience with her. Sitting down with her and explaining what happened to her money, was done with patience, empathy and grace. Through it all, my cousin needed to close her account and open a new one. Explaining how anyone that was getting paid automatically (gas co., water co.) or making automatic payments to her (social security) would have to be notified of the changes. Kenya was so professional explaining this to my cousin. It is such a pleasure when you have someone wait on you who knows their job. She explained that there would be an investigation into the matter and it would take about 10 business days. In about 7 days the money was returned to my cousins bank account. Kenya even called my cousin to let her know and see if she was OK. I can't say enough good things about the experience we had at Wells Fargo. Just would like to tell Kenya, Thank You!!

I went to open an account at lunchtime, and it was really easy. This location is hugely bustling during the lunchtime hour, but wow was it ever a friendly place. It reminds me of how an older bank would be, and many of the customers seemed to know each other too. Jennifer C. helped me out and was really exceptional and sweet. At times I've showed up to cash a check and they don't have cash available. They have closed several times do to so to computer or "system" problems. When I need a notary they charge $30. When you have been with the same bank as long as I have there shouldn't be a charge especially when UPS has one on staff and only charges a few bucks. When you need a banker to talk to - you have to make an appointment well in advance so a banker can see the maybe 2 to 4 appointments that she has booked for the day. Used to be you could walk in and you sat in their lobby and within a few minutes you were able to talk to someone. The list goes on and on with this place and its almost comical at this point. One shining note is the tellers are their only saving grace - always nice to talk to.

Plus the Warminster Pa. Branch manager claimed the person who wrote the check was telling them the deposited check was a fraud? Followed up person who wrote check was never Called by any bank. I finally got my cash. Terrible people to do business with.

Hours later, I call them and the system is still down. Are you kidding me? A Bank, or CU Down for more than a few minutes? I told them if I didn't have it up by end of day I'd escalate. That said, I was a customer of this bank for years in the late 1990s before coming back to them again around 2012 or so. I liked the bank better in the 90s. Service was more person. It felt like a true "neighborhood" bank. I guess having acquired a few other small banks over the years that culture was bound to change.

Several of the complaints here, with low ratings for this bank, note that they call the customer whose account is being debited before they cash checks. For some reason these reviewers think that is a bad thing. As someone who has been called several times about checks, I would like to go on record to say that this is a very good thing. I want them to check withdrawals from my accounts that are atypical. I'm pleased that they would take the time. Firstrust is a local bank. It's not a big, national, impersonal bank. That's not to say it's small -- there is a lot of money backing it up. But after the fiasco's in some of the nations largest banks, I'm pleased to know that I'm banking with people I know and with an institution that has an investment in my community.

I've know the staff at my local office, (Richboro) for many years. They were only working with rotating half staff when the inside was closed. Only 2 or 3 people handling all the phone calls, appointments and drive up window. If someone had to wait for a few minutes for the door to open, or the bank manager can't call back for a couple of hours in the middle of a pandemic, deal with it. I am tired of entitled people placing all these complaints on the internet when they are simply acting spoiled and rude. First National Bank employees have always been great to me. No matter which office I go to. I hope they ignore Lisa A.'s rude comments. Frankly, that's the kind of person they don't need as a customer!! Keep up the great work First National!!
