I used these guys to refinance an auto loan because the rate was good. I did it all online and went…read moreinto the branch for closing. I had an appointment for closing and waited only 5 min to be called. I can't just sign papers for an auto loan electronically like everywhere else? The branch locations are pretty far out. The closest south city location is on Watson, which is a good 15 min from downtown/Soulard. Also, loans cannot be paid from an external bank account directly unless a scheduled, monthly ACH transfer is manually set up. Otherwise, it has to be transferred to your FCCU checking account (has a fee and takes DAYS) then transferred to your loan. My experience: I needed $20,000 which was, of course, way less than the original loan. I make $150k/year (over 700 credit score), and they said my income wasn't sufficient. WHAT?! $8000/month net income isn't enough for a $20k loan? Luckily I have a second job and that income made it sufficient. I needed a salary over $200k to get a $20k car loan. The process was ok, I guess. They weren't overly helpful during the application, but it went smoothly. I just had to keep calling and asking about the status. I also opened a checking account to have a local option. Large deposits are held for about 5 business days which hasn't bothered me yet, but may bother some. Cashier's checks are free.

When I reached out to the bank they were extremely rude and hostile and hung up on me. I filed a complaint a complaint with the Missouri Division of Finance and am currently seeking legal council. DO NOT USE THIS BANK!!!!

I had scheduled a 9am meeting to meet with someone at this branch to explore investing my savings…read more When I arrived at 9am, the scheduled opening time for the business, it wasn't open yet. After several moments the doors were unlocked. Since no one was present to greet me I waited in line to speak with a teller to guide me to the person I was supposed to meet with. I found out that that person was another teller who told me they didn't know anything about the meeting and would meet with me when they wrapped up assisting serving several other people in line. After 20 minutes they approached me asking what the meeting was about. I explained the purpose. They then said that was something they couldn't do. I'd have to speak with someone else who wasn't there who would call me later to set up a second meeting. So all my efforts to schedule a time to accomplish something at this location were wasted and I was now facing having another meeting to schedule and accommodate. Businesses should open on time, be aware of scheduled meetings, and be prepared to respect their customer's time. Now wondering if should look elsewhere with my investments.

I began visiting this branch after moving from Webster Groves to the Lindenwood Park neighborhood…read more Each time I visited, the bank tellers were indifferent to the point of rudeness. One was so annoyed with me for making a deposit one day (I know; the nerve of me, right?) that I actually called and asked to speak to a manager. The same teller answered the phone, and I was put on hold for twenty minutes before someone spoke to me. The woman I spoke with was worse than the teller. I could practically hear her rolling her eyes. I don't go to this bank anymore, ever. Not even to make a deposit at the ATM. I drive out of my way to my old branch in Webster, or plan ahead so I can go to one of the two branches along my commute to work. I highly recommend helping this branch out by avoiding it and taking your banking elsewhere. That way, these poor angry tellers don't have to deal with all the darn customers who make them so miserable and hostile!

Who knew Capital One had a café Located inside of West County Mall. I came across this gem one day…read moreand been hooked ever since. The staff here are always so nice and polite, and this is a great spot to get away from all the noise when you want to relax or get a little work done. I ordered a honey lavender iced latte. It was smooth, creamy, and not too sweet. He honey and lavender mesh so well and you can taste all of the flavor. They sell pastries as well. I ordered a ham and Swiss croissant. The croissant was fluffy and flakey, and the warm ham and cheese brought comfort to my belly. They were out of the marmalade that comes with it so i wasn't able to taste that. If you use your capital one card, you get 50% off your drink. You also get access to their meeting rooms and private bathrooms. There is plenty of seating inside.

Concept is interesting - part cafe, part bank, part workspace, part bank. The space is modern and clean, and set up perfectly if you want to sit and get work done. Lots of seating and outlets with free wifi. I didn't get to try the coffee and got the matcha instead which was pretty refreshing. The menu also included light food options like sandwiches and pastries which are convenient if you want something quick. Another big perk is you get 50% off drinks if you have a Capital One or Discover card which makes it a much better value and a reason to come back.
