They say they are still trying to verify the funds but the California Treasury department where the check came from said that they paid Huntington Bank the day after I deposited the check and yet here I sit unable to access any of the money. They also treated me like a criminal when I went into the bank trying to get answers one teller telling me that she's still getting crap from her boss for taking that check while not making eye contact with me. I've been a loyal customer with them ever since they started. Never so much as an overdraft. So rude to me on the phone and in person... Clearly irritated that I'm trying to get answers about the money. I'm glad to be done with them and I've had other family members leave as well because of this.

I was greeted at the door and they took care of the issue as fast as possible. They took care of all the fees as they saw I did not cause the problem (neither did they) and shouldn't be penalized. The first 6 months I would go to use my card at a store and it would get declined with plenty of money in the account which is so embarrassing when you have a cart full of food and a line behind you. They don't have anyone to talk to in the late afternoon so you're screwed if you get locked out of your account after hours...better hope you keep cash on you because you will not be able to talk to anyone about your money until 8am the next morning!! I was getting locked out of my account like twice per week and then I would have to go inside the bank where they would call and get my hold lifted and promise me it wouldn't happen again...first off that was a lie and to find out it was being locked for making to many deposits???? Small ones at that. I clean houses and I'm a waitress....so if you make cash daily DO NOT use this credit union. So tonight I got off work stopped at the ATM and did a cash deposit of 150 dollars, only to be told that my money has been "detained" and to call my bank tomorrow. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me! Mind you if I didn't have money in my pay pal or cashapp and I was out of gas then I would be sleeping at the gas station until the customer service department opened and was able to lift the hold on my account or to fix their mistake yet again!! By far the worst credit union in history. Not to mention their ATM's are broke 50% of the time. I've driven to the ATM to deposit money multiple times only to find a note on the screen saying the atm was down and to try back later. On a scale of 1 to 5 it would be in the negative for sure. Nothing about banking here has been convenient or helpful or even worth all the extra BS!! I have not one good thing to say about them. If anything it's stressful and inconvenient!!
