Pretty Solid idea if You ask Me  Eh?? They showed us Hockey, RUSH, Molson Golden, the Raccoon Whisperer, the Trailer Park Boys, and Banks that are open all week long. Got anything else up there We could use? How aboot a publicly funded universal Healthcare system?. - Ok now Your just blowing My freaking mind over here.   Anyway this is a very solid TD branch location full of excellent and friendlier than most bank associates so they always get two thumbs up from Me. Do yourself a favor go some place else. We always use the ATM so that nothing goes wrong but the second we use any live person, the problems start. Put cash deposit into one of the branches and knew better not to trust anyone of these incompetents. The said specifically to put the money into a specific account, instead they put the money into another account. The second it was done, we got charged 4 times from a vendor we had disputed 6 months ago. We know you can just delete a pending authorization, these people dont know anything! now we have file 4 additional disputes because of these peoples incompetence.

For me and my wife, we have been pleased with our experience. We had a mortgage with a bank and when the balance got pretty low, we went here for a home equity loan at a significantly lower rate than the outstanding mortgage and paid it off using the home equity loan. Then we quickly paid the loan off and now we own our home outright. Exciting! The staff we have worked with have been helpful and friendly. Although we do not have a loan, we have a small account that we use to send gift money to relatives. When we go inside, the tellers take good care of us so we're happy. One surprise was despite the quick payoff of our home equity loan, when we inquired about an auto loan, they balked - quite a surprise because the dealer then found a near zero percent rate for us at the Chase branch in town. Overall, we have not had any serious issues here but, with the two very critical reviews, management might need to step up to investigate and resolve any potential concerns.

Their ATM has been reliable and working about 99% of the time. We have checking and savings accounts here plus we also moved our IRA accounts here when we retired, largely because of their in house investment expert. Our financial advisor, Scott, is smart, energetic and conservative with his advice. He asks good questions and tailors his investment advice to balance growth, safety and the level of risk we are comfortable having. He has helped us, a pair of investment novices, learn and carefully manage our retirement funds. The customer service agent, Anita, is responsive to questions and works hard to keep our business. She is a gem and I hope is compensated properly for her efforts. Banks, especially big banks, can be impersonal and overpowering. Despite their size, the Denville branch of Chase behaves like a responsive local bank. Recommended.

Not even a week after, I had called the bank to inform them because he was listed as an "authorized user" on my account. Obviously a week after he had passed, my family didn't receive a certified death certificate until months later, which I was informed was required. During that time, I didn't even live in the state of NJ and I've actually never gone to this branch (I've always gone to the Morris Plains branch), so I was surprised yesterday when I had received a call from a "Jennifer" from the Denville branch - she had left a voicemail. That's where the problem began. I had called back immediately and I didn't realize it would take me 15 minutes and a lot of frustration just to get a live representative on the phone with all of the prompts. When I finally did, I told the woman I had received a phone call from a woman named "Jennifer". She told me there was no one by that name... now I'm thinking maybe it was fraudulent? So I said well I received a call from XYZ phone number and she said "oh that's (insert her name here which I couldn't understand)". I get a hold of the woman who had called and she asked if I had a better phone number for (my dad) because they've tried him several times and he hadn't picked up because they have a "special promotion" for him... I told the woman on the phone he hasn't pick up BECAUSE HES 6 FEET OVER IN AN URN AT MY MOMS HOUSE! What really blows my mind is that he had MULTIPLE accounts with Chase that my mom had to close/reassign to herself, and she's provided a certified death certificate to do that... I have no idea how it hasn't translated over to my account but the lack of compassion was just pathetic. Obviously I laughed out loud at the woman when I gave my answer because it's been 4 years since his passing and they had the audacity to call me and use my information on MY account to get a phone number for him. Somethings not right there... If I could recommend a branch to bank at, the Morris Plains Chase bank is very nice.
