I am disgusted with how Oxford Bank has handled a fraud incident involving my 87-year old…read moregrandmother who had been banking with them for over 50 years. A criminal gained access to personal information and was able to change addresses, phone numbers, and other personal information in Oxford Bank's systems. The criminal, impersonating my mother (who has access to her accounts), made calls to the bank numerous times and was able to transfer/write checks for almost $150,000 in fraudulent transactions. Not one time did Oxford Bank's front line employees or management flag potential fraud even though this criminal called 20+ times in the span of a few weeks. There were minimal questions asked to verify identity over the phone. The absolutely insane part of this is that my mother, concerned about activity in the account that was clearly fraudulent, called Oxford Bank to report what was going on. THEY DID NOTHING ABOUT IT!! Instead, they refused to talk to my mother! The management were nasty; they wouldn't return phone calls or take a meeting. As of a month ago some clueless c suite executive calls my mother and blames the incident on her! This incident occurred 6 months ago. My grandma still doesn't have her money back and now Oxford Bank is denying the claim! Don't bank with these clowns! Best believe we'll be seeing them in court!

They refuse to let me talk with their fraud department, explain why the clearly fraudulent transaction went through, and what they did to investigate the charge. We met here and he went in to prepare the certified check and then we were off to the title company to place the funds. Chase has branches all over and this one was conveniently located for us to get what we needed for our deal to work. Staff was friendly and efficient.
