Would not return, having an appointment doesn't mean anything, and opening a new account/obtaining new business from a loyal customer is clearly not a priority. I hope that this poor experience is limited to just this location.
I have banked with PNC for over 15 years. Recently moved to Indianapolis and was looking into opening a new joint account with my fiancé and transferring money from another bank.
Made an appointment online, sent an email with questions to the sales associate who responded she wasn't working the day I had scheduled- so she rescheduled me with someone else.
Arrived 10 minutes prior to my appointment time, and followed the instructions to text that I was there, received an automated response I would be texted when the branch was ready for me- never received that. After seeing others come in and out of the branch, we opted to go inside, after going through metal detectors, we were told to wait to the side. After 20 minutes past our appointment time and not being helped, we left as we had other things scheduled.
I received a text two days later they were ready for us and haven't received any additional follow up from PNC. read more
