It's a great credit union provided you NEVER, EVER, need to call their customer service center fora…read more question. Their customer experience on line, via the call center, or via email is HORRENDOUS. You often have to wait 1-3 hours to ask a simple question. Often the call center disconnects you after you have been on hold for 45 minutes or longer. It's been this way for the last 4-5 years and they have made no improvements. I don't recommend them to anyone who might need to interact with customer service. Probably the worst company i have ever dealt with in that regard.

The customer service this financial center provided today was HORRIBLE!!!!…read more I must say "I am not a member of TruMark". However, TruMark is a shared bank with the bank that I do have an account with ... So it allows me to go here as well as a couple other financial centers for banking services. So if I was able to get to my bank/ I did not need to make a withdrawal. I would have never came here. (And I really wish I didn't) So I walk in through the secured doors. Feel out the withdrawal slip and get in line. The line is pretty long because I'm guessing maybe because the 1st is New Years and the branch will be closed. Also this bank has a lot of bilingual bank tellers here. Which is a plus, because it seemed like 95 % of the people that came in were Hispanic. But the part is some of the customers only knew Spanish and did not understand when the bank teller said "next"... And the tellers could tell the customer did not understand English. Yet still did not call or signal the customer. They just waited for another customer that was able to speak Spanish told the customer..... So the line is moving slow. So finally I get to the bank teller. She's saying "next" but I can't see her because she'll sitting at the end with her chair low..(ridiculous) When I get down to where she is her and the teller beside her have no customer. So instead of her saying "I said next".. It's like she wanted me to read her brain lmaoo. She puts my acct# in and says "it's not working the acct# number could be wrong or maybe your bank system is down and it won't let me pull it up" ... So being as though this is my first time coming to this branch or even using one of my financial centers shared banks. I go to hand her the card I received when I opened my account with my acct# number on it. So she can double check the numbersAnd she just blurts out without even looking at the card. "I already tried three times it won't let me, you need to call customer service" I'm at lost for words, after waiting in that line.... No type of customer service, just classless. So I step out of line, after picking up my withdrawal slip. I drop my darn phone I'm so annoyed at her unprofessionalism. And I hear her say "if you like you can go in the conference room"... I was a bank teller at Wachovia for almost 4 years. And when I tell you we strived for excellent customer service!! We looked to make the customers transaction was easy as possible. So not only did I have to wait 15 mins on hold with customer service for my bank. Just to find out if the bank teller would have just looked at the card I tried to show her. I could have avoided wasting 20 mins out of my day. Just because she wanted to make it harder for me... So I get back in line and now almost all the teller are out talking behind the counter but yet no one is calling me. Than one young girl does. And she acts like she has a attitude lmaoo. (I truly will never understand people) she puts my money on the counter and not in my hand.... Update ::: I spoke with the branch manager and she was very apologetic about my bad experience that day. And I really respect and appreciate it!! When someone reaches out to you after having a bad experience. It shows that they do in fact value their customers. Which she didn't have to do. So thank you!!

It means that it's time to truly spread my wings, because my boss sends me out to the bank with our deposits. Not only do I get to see the sunlight and put an UberX ride on our company card, but I also get to take the trip to TD Bank. I love chatting with the friendly tellers, especially Josh and the security guard. Their lollipops are always plentiful, and sometimes I even pocket one as a little treat for later. Ever since they added a FREE COFFEE STATION (!!!!), my life finally has meaning. Sometimes when I mess up the math on the bank deposit (which is why my boss doesn't usually trust me) the teller doesn't even say anything and just fixes it for me without making me feel bad. I love that! I suck at math and TD Bank is a judgement-free zone. If I had any actual money or use for a bank account, I'd definitely open one here. Maybe someday! For now, I'll just enjoy those sweet, treasured work errands.

This place has really stepped up since my previous HORRIFIC experience with an ex TD bank employee…read more Thankfully, that employee is no longer there (what a surprise), and the current staff made sure to Make me feel appreciated today. I went in to pick up my checks that were suppose to be ready. They weren't because they previous employee didn't order them Like she told me she would have (another surprise). But Samuel was so sweet, he ordered them for me and waived the cost because h wanted to know that my business was valued. I also met the manager who was very helpful and professional. I'm so happy to know my money is in good hands. For a minute there I was really concerned, but after meeting Samuel today I feel totally confident with their service. Thank you!

The branch itself is clean, well organized and clearly marked for the service you are looking for that day. You are always greeted by a friendly rep at the door to ensure you're heading to the right place or getting an appointment if you aren't sure. From mortgages to car loans or other banking needs, the advisors are always incredibly patient and knowledgeable. They understand your needs, provide advice or feedback, show you the numbers and potential alternatives, and then set you up for an easy checkout experience. I could not more highly recommend NFCU and this Cherry Hill branch!

They get you in acting like you're going to get a low interest rate on your car loans, they tell you interest rates from like 3.5% of 17% however they can't even tell you what criteria needs to be for what bracket of interest rates. I've never taken out a loan where they couldn't tell me what criteria you to meet to see if you even wanna do business with them. Technically you could have perfect credit and you can meet all the criteria and still get 17 percent interest rate if that's what they want to give you. It is a scam. Stay away from them. They lure you in on false pretense and then can't answer any questions which as a financial Institute they should be able to answer all questions. A car salesman could answer more questions about finance than their own financial institution can answer. They lost my business on that. Could've made a lot of money off my loan, I've been with the banks and their credit cards for over 15 years, I have a personal relationship with finance as well. So this leads me to believe that they have under trained staff. Ignorance is no excuse. For anyone who's reading this, in case you are unaware, as many people are, when they run your credit if you decide to not take out a loan with them, it will drop your credit by 20+ points. If you don't take the loan, it looks like you've got denied. Therefore them not being able to answer your questions properly could result in you dropping into a credit score bracket that you won't be able to get lower interest rates because they suckered you in. If you want to Bank with them, they aren't so bad they have benefits other banks don't have. But it comes the cost because there's only one location in the entire state of New Jersey.
