They have a wide range of guitars on sale and some special edition ones for the music connoisseur, they also sell guitar books, picks, cds and other small musical instruments like banjos. They also sell music memorabilia like signed photos. My boyfriend loves to visit the store but always feels a little wistful when he does as most of the stock is expensive due to what it is. A great place to buy that special gift for a music fan.

It does take a good 10 minute walk away from the shopping centre to find it and if you didn't know Bedford I doubt you would ever be able to find it! They stock a good range of things in this shop although the majority are guitars. They also teach instruments in the studios above. Next door (linked inside the shop) there is a repair studio, headphone and disco shop. As there are no other music shops in Bedford, prices aren't very competitive. The shop itself has always provided me with good service, advice and quality products. One man band is, I think, the only music shop in Banbury, so therefore gets a lot of trade. The shop has a great selection of instruments, especcially electronics and guitars at good value. The only negative point I can think of is that there used to be a bigger sheet music collection, which they changed to mail order only, shame, as it was a useful local resource. They now use the space for giving music lessons, which I hear are expensive. Nevertheless, One man band is a valuable edition to the Banbury shoppers catalogue with expert advice and a wide ranging stock.

I visited the shop only last week looking for a pair of the new small style bose headphones. The assistant was extremely helpful, honest and frank on advising me which ones were worth the extra money and which weren't, rare I think for an independant shop on the high street. I came out happy with a new pair with a good guarantee. The shop sells an assortment of audio equipment, disco stuff, all sorts of audio outputs, plus and wires, and some guitars, including a baby electric, which has been in the window I swear for at least 3 years! The staff are always polite and helpful and give good un-biased advice. The prices are good too, maybe not 'internet good', but good value for the high street. Highly Recommended.
