In May of 2021, we paid Klenswite $3600 for a new gas pool heater, which died after 3 months of…read moreuse. Klenswite assured us the heater and its main components were covered under the warranty and that they would handle it and either repair or replace the heater for the 2022 season. I began contacting them in early 2022 to get a feel for what they planned to do with no response. Finally, in the spring they said the manufacturer didn't have the necessary part in stock as yet. When I called the manufacturer they assured me that the part was indeed in stock. More phone calls and emails to Klenswite until they left us a voice message saying the part was in and that they'd be out to install it the following week. When I followed up by phone, they informed me that the warranty was null and void due to a water chemistry issue and that we were basically out of luck. Bottom line, we went an entire 2022 season without a heater, sued Klenswite and the manufacturer. and prevailed in recouping our loss. The manufacturer immediately offered to reimburse us half the cost of the heater. When the court asked Klenswite if they were willing to reimburse us the other half, the owner said, ''I guess you've got me by the short ones.'' Case closed!

When they closed my unground pool this year, they left my garage door open, and left my sump pump in the pool running, and LEFT it there. When I went to my house a month later, to find the pool pumped nearly dry and a running pump that was so hot you couldn't touch it, I wasn't a happy customer. When I finally got a response, it was very dismissive. I've heard that the business partners are having a parting of the ways, which might be part of the problem. I would advise people to take their business elsewhere.

Only after another call yesterday did the owner finally respond, and the interaction was extremely unprofessional. A company has every right to decline a project, but there is no excuse for ignoring a disabled client for weeks and then responding in such a disrespectful and dismissive manner. Today is 6/28/23 and we still can't swim in it and spending a lot of money to get it right. This company does not respond to your messages. We have not been able to use our pool since it was opened. I do not recommend using this company.
