We found Shore Siding to be very unresponsive and severely lacking in customer service. I would not recommend hiring them because I would not be confident that the job would get done right or on time, or that if any problems were encountered that they would address them properly (or perhaps at all).
We contacted them about a potential small project in October, hoping to have it complete before the following Memorial Weekend. We communicated with them many times over a 5-month period just trying to set up a meeting to discuss the project at the site. Many of our communications went completely unanswered. It was like we had to try to chase them down to give them the business. We gave them specific dates, in advance, when we could be available to meet. Sometimes we were told they would check the schedule and get back to us, but they never did. Other times they simply did not answer at all. Finally, 5-months into the process, they told us they could not meet us on a weekend. (Since we live out of town, weekends are the only time we can get there.) If they would have told us this when we tried to set up weekend meetings early on, we could have adjusted our schedule or tried a different company. But after five months of trying to work with them, we finally decided that our business just was not important to them. We will move on to a new company and not look back. But we share this experience as a caution to anyone thinking of hiring them. read more
