I brought my 2-year-old in for a fever and congestion. The visit itself was quick, and I appreciate that they helped bring her fever down. However, I left feeling uncomfortable with how the interaction went. On three different occasions, both the doctor and nurse asked or tried to confirm whether my daughter was in daycare, even after I clearly said multiple times that I'm a stay at home mom and she's just at home with me. One of them even gave me a daycare absence excuse note "for fun." as we left. As a young mom, it felt dismissive and somewhat like a microaggression as if they didn't believe me or assumed something about my situation. I really don't see myself returning after that experience. I hope the staff can be more mindful and respectful in how they communicate with parents of all ages. read more

Great place. While it isn't great to have a sick child, it's great that a place like this exists for when the time calls for it - especially when the former options would be a regular Urgent Care or an ER. We needed to take our son here to checked out (which thankfully turned out to be nothing) and although I passed by here several times, I wasn't sure how this place was. First off, the place is clean and very welcoming for kids. There is an animal/jungle theme present around the entire place and in the rooms. There are TVs on both ends of the large and spacious waiting area with cartoons on. There is another monitor with your child's first name and last initial indicating how much longer he'd be seen. I wish more places had that simple innovation. We were the only ones there, so there wasn't too much of a wait time. The room was clean and our son wasn't nervous. The doctor and nurse were both welcoming and knowledgeable. We got out diagnosis fast enough and were on our way out. The entire process lasted less than an hour. The parking lot isn't great (not this place's fault), so be careful navigating around clueless drivers going. This place is book-ended by a Nathans and a sizable CVS along with a few other businesses and is connected to the larger Kohl's parking lot. You can enter either from Central Avenue or Crisfield Street. Overall a pleasant experience in light of having a sick child. I wish there was a place like this when I was a child, since the options weren't nearly half as good as this place. Recommended. read more

Went here because my daughter got sick gradually and by 830 she was crying in pain...no appointment for Saturday or Sunday and was asked what was wrong. Apparently it would take too long and was told sorry you can make an appointment. Umm I tried but you are booked. If you claim this is a walk in place then it shouldn't matter what is wrong..I am willing to wait especially knowing you don't have an appointment. And before this place makes any excuses you close at midnight and I showed up at 9. 3 hours before you close. Who is ok with seeing a child sick and saying sorry no appointments...I thought that was the whole point of urgent care to be there when I can't get an appointment to with the doctor. Oh and mamaroneck place said the same thing..the lady was a bit nicer..I should mention no one was in the waiting room. read more

For Starters , Every-time i have taken my daughter here " nothing is wrong " . Meanwhile my daughter had the Flu . They told me she is fine not once , but twice . I had to wait for her to see her primary doctor to get the real diagnosis. Secondly , The 2x we came by we got no discharge papers so who knows what they are charging the insurance. I don't think they know what they are doing & just giving parents a run around . They are asking whats wrong , stepping out , googling symptoms & coming back with a general answer . If you want to waste your time and never figure out what's wrong with your child this is the place to go . I took my 8 month old daughter here 2 times in 1 month due to her being extremely congested, fever , and a flem. The didn't test my daughter for RSV or COVID , they simply checked her vitals listened to her chest and said she has nasal congestion that's all . Days later my daughter only got worst. I took her to the ER . Quickly they tested my daughter for both RSV and Covid and come to find out my child has been suffering with RSV and barely any treatment other than Tylenol. Not just that but they will make you wait and make excuses to why other patients are being seen before you after waiting there since opening . read more

I took my 19 month old daughter here the other day due to an up and down fever. PA Christina Profita was her doctor and let me just say she was amazing! My daughter was very irritable and screaming crying because she was not feeling well. Christina had so much patience with my daughter and did not force the evaluation. She diagnosed my daughter with an ear infection and also made the decision to test her for the flu based on my daughter's symptoms, which I'm very happy she did because my daughter had Influenza A. She explained her diagnosis and her treatment to me so clear. Even though the urgent care co-pay is steep for me ($50), I would not hesitate to bring her back here because she was well taken care of. This is my second time taking her here and I have yet to complain about anything. I never waited more than 30 mins. There's plenty parking and staff is very friendly and helpful. read more

Honestly pretty disappointed with the care received here this week. My son has been sick for over two weeks and I got an appointment and was seen by one of the very stressed out doctors. I understand that right now everyone is stretched thin and the docs are tired but the care we received was very unsympathetic and rushed. The doctor didn't listen to my concerns and didn't care to hear what I was explaining about my son. Instead she immediately shot down my request for antibiotics, again knowing my son quickly develops sinus infections and ear infections when his symptoms present as they were. We didn't get what we needed and since his visit he has gotten sicker, not better. Now we are forced to find another appointment, and again I'll have to bring my newborn in with my sick child to be seen again. Very frustrating and disappointing. I won't be back. read more

This place is awful. Do not go if you want quality care of your child. My daughter had a 105 fever and was basically falling asleep in the lobby and on the table. They were completely overwhelmed, took her temperature wrong and it read it low. After that point their only focus was getting rid of us. They did a strep test (even though she didn't have a sore throat). When it came back negative I asked if they would do flu and RSV and they insisted it wasn't needed and to just take her home. Spoiler alert Dr Davis - we went to her actual doctor the next day and she has the flu. That's one more day she didn't get the medication she needed because of your incompetence and refusal to listen to a mother. To top it off the nurses are insanely rude and have no patience for kids who are scared and sick. One of them screamed at my child for being scared of the strep test. Don't work in pediatrics if you don't have patience. AVOID AT ALL COSTS read more

What an awful experience. We went there for a Covid test which we knew was a negative but mandated because my child's school forced us to (had a 98 degree temp but a mild cough). This has got to be the fastest doctor visit in the history of my kids emergency visits. I usually take the kids to Lawrence hospital and would be waiting around for hours and hours just to be seen by the staff before having to wait a few more hours to finally be seen by a doctor. This time was very different, my daughter thought it was a good idea to put a crayon in her ear granted it was a beautiful shade of orange but none the less the crayon broke and a piece became lodged in her ear. Once we got there it was a matter of 5minutes getting all the paper work done meaning the lady behind the desk asked for photo id and the insurance card and that was it. The staff was very attentive and friendly and you could see that they wanted to make my daughter as comfortable as possible a few minutes in the waiting room and we were on our way to the back to see the doctor. In all the visit lasted about 45 minutes from start to finish and this i must say was a relief. I am proud to say that this will be the new place for all of the kids emergencies. read more

Waited 90 minutes, and was in the facility for a total of 3 hours with a 17 month old. It was jam packed! The care received was, overall, pretty good, but the wait times are just beyond unreasonable and the waiting area is a cess pool of germs. If your child is not there with cold or flu symptoms, expect them to leave with cold and flu symptoms. I hope I never have to return. read more

First, I had to wait nearly three hours when I was told 45 minutes to an hour. Finally, I took my rapid test (15 minute result time) and after waiting in the room for 30 minutes, I decided to ask a nearby doctor to see what was going on. The receptionist was extremely rude & seemed like she rather be anywhere but there. I came in with my 9 month old with a high fever, coughing & wheezing. She wouldn't make eye contact and was extremely impersonal, couldn't give me a wait time. She eventually gave us an hour wait time after me being extremely persistent, never asked what was wrong with the baby and then had the audacity to say kids were being seen by urgency when I asked her to please give me a wait time and she finally decided to answer. We took our son in earlier today. We loved every moment of our experience- check-in was a breeze, the receptionist was pleasant, the nurses and doctor were friendly... A+! We were in and out (and satisfied) within an hour. They have TVs and wi-fi so the very minimal wait time was enjoyable for our son. We didn't feel rushed at all. Is it weird to say that we loved this place? Sunday morning, suspecting strep with my 6-year-old. Do NOT want to wait till Monday to have this confirmed. We headed over to PM Pediatrics and were greeted with an immaculate, cheerful waiting area (with WIFI!). Lovely staff and relatively short wait, given how many families were ahead of us. Once inside we were treated so kindly by all the staff, had a strep test confirmed as positive and actually got our first dose while in the office. This practice is wonderful - wish they could be our primary care doctors! Took my 14 year old there after regular doctor had closed, suspected bronchial infection. I had had him to the doctor twice in the previous week...they told me it was a virus. The doctor at PM Pediatrics listened to his chest, said she thought he had pneumonia in the left lung, took an X-ray to confirm and sent us on our way with the right prescription and peace of mind that knew he would begin to get better. I had to take my daughter to the urgent care for an earache and was amazed from the moment I walked in. As I walked in I was greeted by a very friendly receptionist who immediately took my information and informed me that my insurance was in network (which is a plus) and asked me to have a seat. My daughter and I waited in the waiting room for about 15 minutes when we were called in by a very nice nurse and put in a room as the nurse asked all the pertinent questions. About 5 mins later the Doctor was in the room ( Dr Best) and was very friendly and to the point. My daughter had an ear infection and not only did he give her the first dose of medication but he also gave me the second dose to take home since my pharmacy was closed. Overall, I would highly recommend this place. It is clean, fast and very friendly. read more

Due to heavy traffic, we missed our appointment check in, and were still seen right away. The Dr. Was extremely thorough, and performed routine and preventative testing. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with PM Pediatrics. My 18 month old daughter had a fever and gotten sick over the weekend. I brought her here for the first time on a Sunday morning. There was no wait and they took us right in. All the decor is kid oriented and so cute. Then Monday night I had a question about dosage for Motrin because I had bought the wrong one. I called around 9PM a nurse answered and was able to help me right away. Imagine getting someone on the phone? My daughter's pedi is at WestMed and I will never bring her there when she is sick again.
