We had our first visit this week after leaving another god-awful practice. Our appointment was with…read moreSteven Schraiber who had a great personality and good bedside manner. There is nothing worse than being a first time mom and asking a few thought out questions only to be made to feel like in idiot. He did not do that at all! He took his time and answered each one thoughtfully. The nurse who took the vitals and introductory information was great as well. Super sweet woman. Random thing to like... but I love that they give you a piece of paper with all your kids info on it and notes from the doctor at the end to take home. My only feedback would be that the receptionists seem like overwhelmed or tired or something. Upon entry and exit both of the ladies that handled me were grumpy and seemed cold. I'm sure it's hard when you deal with so many people so whatever. I can deal with that though for a great doctor, good nurses, a patient portal, clean office and a separate sick waiting room. *I'm still going here two years later and we still see Schraiber for both of my boys. He's my favorite and the front staff still has bad manners. I try to cut people a break, but it's like they all hate their job. I was just in the other week for my second son's monthly check up. I was walking him around a full waiting room with no seats and the receptionist yells very loudly "Lady lady lady who can't sit down and has bad handwriting what's your baby's name?!? I can't read your chicken scratch and I'm too busy to figure it out!!" So I just very meekly say "it's pretty hard to write with a baby on your hip." Two minutes later a new mom and her baby come out and this same receptionist just steam rolls her. I don't get it. How do the doctors keep people like this who are their director of first impressions?!

We have been patients at Sander's Court Pediatrics for the past four years and have entrusted them…read morewith the care of both of our children. Because of that, we were especially disappointed by the way we were treated. We recently received a call informing us that our insurance was no longer accepted, even though we are in the middle of the year. To better understand the situation, we did a three-way call with BlueCross Blue Shield and a representative from Sander's. Unfortunately, the Sander's representative, Jennifer, was extremely rude throughout the conversation - not only to us, but also to the BlueCross representative. She repeatedly interrupted us while we were trying to ask questions and, numerous times during the call, announced that she was "leaving the call" even though we were still trying to understand what was happening and had unanswered questions. It felt like she was more interested in ending the conversation than helping us. To make matters even more unprofessional, she answered another phone call while she was still on the line with us. We could hear her entire conversation, making it obvious that she was no longer listening to us or focused on resolving our concerns. We were honestly shocked by how dismissive and unprofessional the entire interaction was. We completely understand that insurance contracts and coverage can change. What is not acceptable is treating patients with disrespect when they are simply trying to understand their options for their children. Families deserve to be treated with professionalism and respect, and unfortunately that was completely lacking in our experience. Based on this experience, we would absolutely not recommend Sander's Court Pediatrics to any family looking for a pediatric practice that values its patients.

All of the Doctors and staff are super knowledgeable and very professional. I feel like my child's health is their top priority and that they really listen and take my perspective as a mom into consideration. The office is very clean and the staff are all so friendly when you walk in. They have a sick and well side for the waiting room which I like a lot. The Best part is that I have never waited for more than 10 minutes to be called in. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a new pediatrician. All the Doctors are great and you will feel at easy when I comes to the health of your child.

I brought my child in on a Tuesday for a regular visit; I also brought in a diaper due to a reddish hue in his urine; it appeared almost bloody. My husband and I expressed our concerns about this to Dr Schwarz and she brushed it off, assumingly because we're "paranoid first parents" hardly even looking at the diaper. Long story short, we ended up in th ER early Wednesday morning; our child had Hemmorhagic Disease. With blood in his urine... Our child almost died. 7 days and $127,000 later, he's a healthy baby boy. Had this doctor not brushed off our concerns maybe we could have skipped the ER visit; or at least the near death aspect of the visit.

We have been going to NAP for about 12 years now and for the most part are very pleased. Echoing…read more JK, no practice is 100% perfect but this one comes reasonably close. When our twins were born Dr. O'Brian saw them at the hospital and for most of their visits, well and sick, until he unfortunately left. We were very happy with him as a doctor. When our 3rd baby came along he made sure we got an appointment for all one after another, which was very helpful as at the time we were told they could only book 2 appointments at a time and this holds today, which can be kind of a pain when you have 3 kids and all need well-child visits. We have seen almost all of the doctors, some better than others. Had 1 case very early on when 1 of the twins had an issue and we called the service at night. Did get a call back promptly but the doctor was less than professional in her manner. She seemed put out by the phone call and was a bit condescending. Granted our problem was not what you would normally call with after hours but this was our first baby(ies), they were only 8 weeks old or so at the time, and the baby we were calling about has a heart condition, so we were kind of nervous new parents. She could have had an off day/night so I can't say this is what she is normally like. We did have her once or twice after that and she was acceptable. Our youngest has asthma and was having a particularly hard time with a cold one evening. Called NAP up and the doctor got on the phone, heard her and told us to bring her in and they would stay open and wait. I was very happy with that as we live almost an hour away and it was already 7 pm. The nurses answer most questions over the phone unless you request to speak to a doctor and they will call you back at some point during the day, which I appreciate. I can't say the wait has every been too bad especially for a doctor's office. Never had any major issues with billing and if there is a question about the visit or a balance when we are checking out, they will just bill us once they figure out what is going on; not all practices operate that way today. The staff is polite and many have been there since we started coming. Even though we live quite a ways, we will most likely stay until the kids are ready to move onto an adult GP.

I was first introduced to this practice by my brother-in-law when I was pregnant with my first…read moredaughter, and Dr. Charo has been our pediatrician for the past 11 years. As a first-time parent, there are so many questions, worries, and moments when you just need reassurance that everything is going to be okay. Dr. Charo has always provided that peace of mind. Early on, he gave me his personal cell phone number and encouraged me to reach out if I ever had questions or concerns about my daughter's health. While I have only needed to use it a handful of times, he has always been quick to respond, offering guidance on whether we needed to come into the office or seek additional medical attention. One moment that has always stayed with me was when my daughter was running a very high fever and I took her to the hospital. Dr. Charo not only followed up with the hospital but also personally reached out to me to check on how she was doing. That level of care and compassion is something you don't forget as a parent. Now, 11 years later, both of my daughters genuinely look forward to their yearly checkups. They enjoy catching up with Dr. Charo, sharing what's going on in their lives, and telling him about all the things they've been up to. Over the years, I have referred many of my friends to this practice, and they have shared the same positive experiences. What makes this practice so special is that it's not just Dr. Charo. The entire team shows compassion, takes the time to listen, and genuinely cares about their patients and families. That kind of care makes all the difference. What I appreciate most is that Dr. Charo doesn't just treat his patients; he takes the time to build relationships with them and their families. We have always felt heard, supported, and cared for. Knowing that my girls have a doctor they trust and feel comfortable with means so much to me. I am incredibly grateful that we found Dr. Charo all those years ago and couldn't imagine having anyone else care for my girls. I would highly recommend him and this practice to any family looking for a pediatrician and a team who truly care!

When AJ was born he became the love of my life and he couldn't have been in better hands. He was a giant kid and at every checkup Dr. Charro would remind me to remember him later when AJ grew up and ended up being on the Bears because he was so big. One weigh in the baby scale read OL and he joked it was "Overload". Haha Nobody loved my kids and cared for them more than he, Dr. Baker and Dr. Holmes. AJ turned 21 last month and Bella turned 18 in July. I am forever in debt to Dr. Charro and team through the dozens of ear infections, flu shots, checkups. Thank you for loving my children like your own. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
