If you're like me and find the prospect of cleaning up your flat/house/unit at the end of a lease more than a little daunting, then you need to call Plush. Not only were they helpful--working with me to find a good day that suited my timetable, they were also extremely thorough in pre- and post-clean. I was emailed a comprehensive invoice after the clean, and as for the clean itself, well. My cleaner was a lovely guy named Forbes, who showed up with a car full of cleaning gear and got straight to work. He must be related to the Terminator, because he did a nine hour shift cleaning a flat that had been lived in for 12 years. He cleaned the walls, the floors, cupboards, sinks, toilet, shower, windows (inside and out), swept the ceiling, scrubbed off all wall marks, and generally tidied up the place. It wasn't an easy job by any means, but he did it all with good cheer and hard work and I take my hat off to him--I certainly couldn't have done it. Cost was extremely reasonable, $40 p/hour. Plush provide other cleaning services, but as I haven't utilised those services, I can't comment on them. I have no doubt, however, that they would be just as exceptional as the work done for the end of lease clean. I highly recommend these guys, the work they do is such a weight off your mind and when you're moving, there's already enough stress as it is, so not having to worry about this load is fantastic. read more

worst experience ever!! after all the stress of moving house i just wanted someone to come and clean the whole place so i could be done with the old house. i rang plush and spoke to forbes who quoted me $370 to have the carpets cleaned and the house tidied. that sounded ok so i booked it in for the next day and said i would be there at the end of the day to inspect and pay for the job. I got to my house at 5 and the carpet cleaner never arrived (i never realised i was paying 2 different business' as they advertise that they do carpets on there website) So when the carpets were done i just assumed they would call me to re book in the carpets and complete the job. i got a call from forbes that night demanding payment of $240 for the general clean which i said i would pay over the phone or by credit (even though i thought it was crazy asking for half of the money even tho the job hadent been finished) he refused payment over the phone and demanded cash for the job (he said he made it very clear over the phone that it was cash only, which i dont remember and would have had cash at 5 when i went to inspect the job if that was actually the case) I had just moved to the hills and was 20 min away from the closes atm or bank and dident want to spend 40 minutes paying this guy for a job in my opinion wasent even completed. We argued on this point for a while, in the end i hung up on him because he was being unreasonable. Then another guy calls me up demanding money which i said i would pay the next morning, but because i hung up on this guy earlier i was suddenly labled as a dodgey customer who "they had delt with people like me before" and they wanted the cash then and there, no questions, they even threatened to re dirty my house if i dident pay them. In the end i paid them through bank transfer with a screen shot of payment (just to shut them up and to stop the threats) i paid under the impression that someone would come and do my carpets the next day before 1230 (when i had my inspection) the next day i get a call saying the carpets will be an hour late at 1:30 so i rang and pushed back my inspection, but said due to a previous booked apt i couldent be there at the end of the clean to inspect and pay him which means i would need to come and inspect at around 330 and they pay over the phone. the carpet cleaner was not happy about this and wanted payment left for him before he starts. i told him i'm not paying for anything until i had inspected the job and seen it has been completed (i had a 1600 bond riding on this clean), and the previous night forbes messaged me saying i could pay the remainder when the job was completed. The cleaner refused to work with me unless i paid him upfront which i wouldent do, we argued for a bit, i hung up on him as i was sick of wasting my time going around in circles, he called me back and i said i dident want to deal with him any more. thats when he invited me to come and 'disrespect him to his face' and would be waiting at my house for me... so if you want to be threatened, not have a worker turn up on time, demand payment before the jobs complete and get told a million different things over the phone and then have them try turn it around and make it seem like they are doing you a massive favor by taking the job last minute even though there is hundreds of other cleaners looking for work then choose these unprofessional guys. by the way, my carpets still are not cleaned, and after my agents inspected what had been cleaned, they wondered what i paid $240 for. my first time writing a review, thats how annoyed i was (not a great way to spend my birthday) read more

I used this so called company for an end of lease clean. I explained to them what was required & received a quote on how much will cost to do. They quoted 7 hours to do whole empty house, but when I arrived hardly anything was done. The bathroom was not even touched. I was very lucky that my landlord gave my bond back. WOULD DEFINATELY RECOMMEND ANYONE TO STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY. read more

Good price but have had easier, more efficient and better end of lease clean services with other providers. Very helpful to begin with and provides flexible options which is great. Seemed to be a breakdown in communication otherwise, an organised service couldn't be provided on the agreed date with notice of that only a couple days before, felt like constantly having to babysit and communicate - I'd prefer to order the services and leave the rest to the provider. Luckily had my phone off on the morning of the clean, wouldn't have been pleased to receive the call which came through at 6.20am on a public holiday from the cleaner who had gone to the wrong address (I'd given the correct address so breakdown was at Plush end). Clean was ok - best to clarify what you're getting, I thought it was a specific time period clean which meant whatever you could do in that time but a lot of surfaces weren't wiped and we ended up doing them ourselves, not so great when you feel like you could have done more/better job yourself in the time allotted. Am sure all these things can be ironed out and Plush will be a good option. read more
