It was very salty and strong of acidic red wine, and some of the beef chunks were still tough and under braised. The fries were a bit soggy and too thin to be considered typically Belgian fries. For 30 EUR, it was slightly disappointing... but it appears most things in Ghent are quite expensive. The servers there are quite young but very kind and welcoming. I had no issues with the service. What irked me the most was the water situation. I felt pressured to order something, so asked for water.
