am i the only person in the bay area that doesn't wear or own any kind of fleece? no, right? i…read morewas clowned by my alleged friends for the layers i wore in the snow. what's wrong with wearing a long sleeve dragonboat jersey, a long sleeve cotton shirt with a bull on it (i'm a taurus, it was a gift), a tshirt and a benetton or armani exchange sweater under a borrowed waterproof jacket? i have nothing against fleece. i know it's lightweight, breathes and provides warmth but i don't have much use for it. if i'm cold, i'll wear a big ass sweatshirt. maybe it's not as cute but i like it. anyway, i wandered around squaw village and almost bought a cute jacket and pants, in addition to a fleece top, because i was caught up in the sportiness of everyone around me, but i had a moment of clarity and decided to walk around some more before making that kind of commitment. then i walked into edin. it reminded me of an overpriced h&m/forever 21/ rampage with designer jeans. ah, no fleece anywhere. the quality of some of the clothes were questionable but i found citizen and blue cult jeans on sale for under $100. i only bought one but i think i may have been given the wrong pair, brand wise, and since i'm not going back to tahoe for at least a month, it drops edin from 3.5 to 3 stars. i'll live though.
