Alfredo redesigned the drainage, improved the slope of our yard, added more drains along with a GORGEOUS new patio. He also installed a new walkway, a new window well and curved steps. Not only was his work impeccable but he was a pleasure to have at the house. So respectful and kind, always left the site cleaner than it was when he arrived. He was on time and worked hard all day long. Alfredo was right there with his crew from the first moment in the morning to the last sweep up at the end of the day. Stand up guy with high standards and old school work ethic, do not hesitate hiring this company!

If you are looking for a reputable company to do hardscape/landscaping, then A & J Porfilio…read moreLandscape Contractors Inc. should be your choice. 5 years ago, we had A & J Porfilio Landscape Contractors Inc. replace 2 sets of wooden stairs and a cement patio with pavers. We look out every day to see the excellent workmanship Alfredo and his crew did. So, it was only natural that we call A & J Porfilio Landscape Contractors Inc. when we wanted to replace our front steps with pavers. This year we called A & J Porfilio Landscape Contractors Inc. for a quote to install 2 sets of steps and a walkway to the front of our house. Alfredo came out to take measurements and discussed the project. We received a detailed quote within a week, listing what he would be doing along with the material that would be used for the project. We had the opportunity to see first-hand how Alfredo & Noah took pride in their work. Seeing them spend the time needed measuring, marking and cutting so that every stone fit just right, making our walkway perfect. From the beginning to the final clean-up everything was done to perfection, always treating it as if it was their own home.

Eric and his team of professionals have quite spent some time at my house the past month. Their…read morefirst project was a clean up of my yard, removing outdated/dead shrubs, refreshing the mulch, trimming back hedges and a general clean up of my property. After that came the big project, Eric and his courteous & professional team installed a patio on my back yard. This was not just any patio, its a 700 square foot monster with a large retaining wall, curves, removal of part of my deck and about 6 pallets worth of pavers! On top of the planned material, my yard and the recent weather (thunderstorms) threw all sorts of challenges into the process but Eric and his team took every challenge and turned it into an asset which his planning and detail showed in the final product. Eric's attention to detail is obvious as he has an eye for every detail and thinks through every situation and outcome. He also refused to take any shortcuts throughout the entire process. As a customer, I request that the contractor we are working with is communicative and keeps us up to date on whats happening in our yard (especially since we work from home), Eric and his team surpassed expectations in that category, letting us know the next step every step of the way. Eric's pricing is fair and has already won over more of my business for future work. My wife and I, HIGHLY recommend Eric and Haggers Landscaping Services for anyone who wants a communicative, fairly priced contractor who has a high attention to detail...What is there not to want? I would be happy to serve as a reference for anyone considering a project. Jason Polan

So I wish I could say anything good about this company but I cannot…read more To be fair, I sued Brian Getto in small claims court and I didn't present my case well, likely because I didn't prepare my pictures well, and I should have gotten a better contract, but I liked Brian, and he did me wrong when I trusted him and I shouldn't once the job began. He took a job to replace a front door, some screen doors (front and back), and sand and refinish all the woodwork in the house. The first part he did fairly well other than breaking the wood under the door sill and needed to be fixed, but his woodwork is to use a word, pathetic. He used a power sander to strip stained wood to bare, and then realized, hmmm, this won't work, and then when he went to replace the rest of it, he hurried thru it, not even being sure the boards were attached to the wall, He did a horrid job staining the boards and attached boards with obvious defects to the wall (when the were attached at all), and many of the corners are not joined properly. Honestly, its an absolute disaster. He had to cut some boards to fit the baseboards and he even cut them wrong in his hurry to get out of there. Honestly, he priced it wrong, he was in over his head, and I made the mistake of trusting him. Oh, he is NOT registered as a MA home improvement contractor, nor does he carry the required insurances. I have forwarded that to the Attorney General's office.
