Recently I had posted a negative review on Lyndon Tree Care reviews and noticed it was taken off. I DO NOT recommend using this company. We had 2 trees removed which was done correctly BUT the remainder of the work was NOT done to our satisfaction at all. We asked to be notified when they were coming because we wanted to be here. We NEVER received a phone call. Also, we NEVER received a copy of the contract. We SPECIFICALLY told them to MAIL a PAPER copy of the contract and NEVER received it. The price was VERY HIGH for the work done. We first called them asking for the 2 smaller trees to be removed an PRUNING the larger maple. The maple was NOT pruned and spikes were used on my tree. The worker said " my boss would kill me if he saw me using spikes, he does not us using them but it is easier". When Cory returned for the remainder of the money we told him what went wrong and Cory claimed " I did not write it on the contract I was going to just have them clean it up while they were up there"... we were going to put a cable holding the tree but decided to cancel that part. I was present during EVERY conversation with this company and and NOT a happy customer at all. Cory was claiming my husband had agreed to things and was happy.... this is NOT TRUE, we are BOTH VERY UNHAPPY with this service. They LACK communication with their customers and DO NOT follow through. I am NOT the only customer UNHAPPY my neighbor is also VERY UNHAPPY with the service and LACK OF COMMUNICATION. You should consider another tree service company. We had used Lyndon in the past and had a quote from last year for spraying our Hemlocks. We wanted to discuss what are options were this year and to see if the quote and course of action that we discussed the previous year was still the best route to go. We called at the end of August and made an appointment for Monday Sept 14 for Cory to come sometime between 9:30 and 11am. At 11 when no one had shown up I called the office numerous times and left a voicemail asking if we were still on for that day. I also emailed and left a text message. Later that day the office manager called and apologized because she had put the appointment in for a different month by accident. Accidents do happen so we rescheduled for Monday Sept 21 for Cory to come between 10-12. At 12 noon after no one came I called the office. The office manager was surprised that Cory had no shown up as it was on his schedule. She said she would contact him ASAP and call me back. 20 minutes later and no call back I called and she said she left him a voicemail and text but he had not contacted her back but she would call me as soon as she heard back. At 2:45 and no one calling me I called and left a message and the office called me back to tell me that Cory had gotten caught up in some other meetings and had car trouble (a simple cell call from him would have been appreciated) and now did not want to do the job anymore as he was too busy and would not be able to do justice to the job we wanted done. Ironically the job of spraying the Hemlocks would not be until the spring time and all we wanted was a meeting to make sure the course of action for the spring was still the best. I find this extremely unprofessional on his part as he did not even have the common courtesy to call directly but had his office call me to update me. As stated above I would recommend finding a different company to work with. read more

Great work and professional from beginning to end. This was the secret no time they took a tree down for me. This job was more complicated--a large tree near the back of the house. They were able to use their amazing compact crane to get into a tight area and not destroy the yard. I recommend Lyndon without hesitation. read more

Lyndon Tree Care did a great job pruning the apple tree in my yard. I received a prompt answer to my request for an evaluation. During the evaluation, Cory was friendly, professional and clearly very well informed about tree health and maintenance. I was given an accurate, written estimate for the pruning work. The work was performed within the time frame I requested, and the service itself was excellent. The yard was cleaned up after the pruning work, as well. I hired cory to trim down our privet hedges and remove tree branches, the first scheduled appt it was raining so they did not show up, I had to call them to reschdule, they had to cancel and reschedule my second appt due to a conflict they had and the third time they were finally scheduled to show up no one came to do the job. I called the office, texted cory and emailed them to ask where they were on the day of the job, it wasn't until later in the day that I received an email saying they could not do the job because Cory could not be on the job with his crew and because of that it would take his crew too long to do the job so they did not show up.... read more

I agree with the previous reviewer. LTC is a very well-run company. Cory is very knowledgeable about trees and plants in general, and he gave me a good idea of when the other trees in our yard will need attention. The tree looks great, and there was a trimmed stack of branches off to the side, ready to be cured and used as fuel next winter. The best part: my husband won't be climbing any more trees!
