John showed up with his "Bramble Eater" and in short order turned the whole mess--roots and all--into mulch and put it back on the cleared area as fill. He even leveled the berm it had created and chewed through a half-dozen old cedar posts and downed tree sections like it was nothing. I didn't deal with it properly--I just threw a big rock over it, covered it with dirt, and forgot about it. Recently, I got a dog who discovered the rock and dug it up. I called RDE, and the owner came by the very next day. He told me I was lucky the pipe hadn't clogged with dirt yet. He went back to his shop, grabbed the right cap pieces, and repaired the pipe that same day. Great guy, super fast service.
