Not sure how that will differ from the original invoice that has the same guaranteed for a year but still charges me some fee.

Aj and David were the technicians who showed up. They gave a real-time update in regards to their arrival as well as texted a photo with licensing verification. They're very professional and wasted no time getting to work. They were able to diagnose the problem relatively quickly. Noted I had a leaky PRV. They informed me that whoever built this house used the cheapest material PRV which was prone to bursting. They replaced it with a brass PRV and some of the piping as well to make it more weather resistant in less than 2 hours. Their pricing was fair. It's $89 for diagnostics but if you find them through Yelp, they'll give you $75 off the first service call. If you're military, they also give an additional 10% off. Overall, I'm happy with the quality of their work and would recommend their services to the community.

It's been a joy to work with Roger and his plumbers on 3 separate jobs now. Roger is extremely knowledgeable and so are his plumbers. I had a faucet replaced by a different plumber. Shortly after the replacement a foul order emanated from the drain pipe. No amount of drain cleaner got rid of it, maybe temporarily, but the odor came back. I even cleaned the drain plug regularly. The other plumber replaced the drain pipe from the sink into the P-Trap with a plastic one, but didn't replace the P-Trap. The other plumber also fed me a bunch of lies about roots breaking through my pipes. Well, Jorge took care of all of that. So the plastic pipe was replaced with a metal one, the P-Trap was replaced, and the drain plug was also replaced with a sturdier one. Jorge explained that gunk readily clings to a plastic drain pipe, which makes sense. Jorge took a camera into the pipe for a long way and found nothing wrong. My bathroom was left clean when the work was done. Thank you Roger, Jorge, and Jorge's assistant!!! read more

I had a water leak at the hose bib at the front of my home. I contacted PlumbSmart via a referral by a friend. They were very prompt in responding and sent Jorge and Edward out the following day. Jorge was very professional and knowledgeable regarding the situation and explained what repairs needed to be completed; both worked quickly and efficiently and completed the job. Our SAWS bills have been through the roof. PlumbSmart came out and found the problem right away: a substantial leak in the main line to the house. They dug up and replaced a 10 foot section of waterline that has probably been leaking for years. Herman did such a good job putting the dirt, grass, and landscaping back that it isn't even noticeable. Great job! PlumbSmart's rate was reasonable. I expect we'll get that much back over the next year with lower water bills! read more

Within an hour, he was at my house checking out the situation. He must have thought I was crazy when I told him I hadn't opened the door to the water heater since it was installed. We never had any issues- so why would I? Of course, I didn't know that it was leaking a bit in a few places and getting ready to die a soggy death. David told me it outlived it's life expectancy. The very next morning, David and his apprentice, Joshua, installed a brand new water heater. They did some work with the pipes and installed a water pan and pressure regulator to bring everything up to code. Even in my messy hoarders-like garage, it was obvious how well they cleaned up after the job. David took the time to carefully explain what I needed. It had its own valve and connected to the copper feed from the street. I cut off the water at the street and then started calling plumbers. Schaffer, which I called about 4:45 pm, was the only one of three companies we called that could make it out the same day. (Everyone was very busy because of freezing weather). They said they'd be here between 5pm and 7pm. They were here around 5:45pm. They capped the copper that fed the PVC and we were done. They also did a number of other checks. The phone attendant was really courteous, and took the time to find an available plumber, after I explained that it was probably a 20-minute job at best (which it was). The plumber, John, was professional, courteous, and explained everything to us perfectly clearly regarding what we needed to do next, etc. I couldn't have been happier with the response and the service, especially with the prospect of going without water for anywhere from 2 to 5 days again (After the Feb 21 snow event/loss of water). The invoice we received in email was detailed, and included a number of high quality photos of the repair site. After a really, really bad experience with another A/C and plumbing company last year, Schaffer was a refreshing change.
