I had an unfortunate occurrence with my fairly new 2023 Rheem a leaking gasket but Pv Plumbing gave a great quote to replace this with a new one and I was happy to learn that this Rheem will now be installed by their certified plumbing company! I didn't even know! So I'm not happy about my unexpected expense (side-eye to Rheem) but I think I received a great price from PV to get a new one installed. I TRULY cannot recommend PV plumbing enough!! I was blown away how easy it was to find help on yelp. I was very grateful for the amount of calls and text messages I had received from businesses on yelp. They quickly came back with a very reasonable quote, I agreed and set up a same day appointment! Aiden with PV Plumbing came in fast and furious! To be fair to Mr Plumber, it wasn't the owner who I had my experience with but one of his technicians. Here's my experience: A few days ago I noticed some water piled up outside of one of my flower beds.. I knew that it had not rained recently, so I assumed that there must be a leak somewhere. I also noticed it was wet up in the flower bed up against the house. I'm on a slab by the way. So..... I called Mr Plumber bc the guy I wanted to use was unavailable on weekends... I was gonna wait until Monday but I thought, "I may want to get this ch checked out!"... Anywho, Mr Plumber's technician came out(very promptly-I'll give him that). When he stepped out of his van he was very friendly and asked what the problem was... so I showed him the puddle. Now... to be fair, I am not plumber but... I do think that a little more investigation was needed other than walking up to the puddle, sticking your boot down i the puddle and saying, "yes sir! You've got a busted pipe in your slab!" Then he asked if he could check inside the house to see where all of our water sources were.... bathrooms, kitchen sink, washing room..... etc... then he says, "yes sir! We're gonna have to repipe your whole house!" Now, he kept walking off and calling, I'm guessing, his boss to get his opinion.... which showed me that as sure as the technician sounded, he may not really know what he's talking about... but then again- I AM NO PLUMBER. Long story short, he gave me a several thousand dollar estimate. So I did the logical thing- call the plumber I should have waited Monday for.... Anywho, I called Derek the Plumber who came rt out and had it fixed in no time. First of all, the leak was not in the slab- thank you Jesus!!! 2nd of all, not saying that he would have but Mr Plumber could have came out and repiped my whole house and I would have been none the wiser and out several thousand dollars! Not trying to bash Mr Plumber here but Seriously- just saying! Not to mention( even though it was a weekend call) the paper that he handed me said FREE ESTIMATES yet I was charged $125 just to have to guy come and stick his boot in the water and give a sloppy diagnosis! I cannot recommend this company in good conscious to anyone but I will definitely recommend Derek the Plumber. He took his time and found the source before making any rash recommendations!!! Turns out my water heater was 12 years old (I had just purchased my house). He recommended I replace it, but was never pushy. He gave me different brand options based on my financial situation. He also repaired my toilet that wasn't properly bolted to the floor. It turned out to be a more extensive repair than I had previously thought. He took his time, explained what he was doing and why he needed to do it. He was on time, kind, respectful, extremely knowledgeable, and very thorough.
