Morrice Barber Shop has given me an experience I wish to never see again. *HUGEST RED FLAG* was that every person who sat in the chair next to me (with the other stylist) was given the SAME exact cape to REUSE. I was shocked and appalled that the cape was shook out as one person got out of the chair and the next was stepping up. No one seemed to mind and these are clearly regular clients. It left the realization that I was also wearing a dirty cape. This salon is the perfect risk of transferring microscopic blood from neck shaves, transferring bacteria and body secretions such as sweat, exposing contagious skin conditions such as ringworm and staph, and encouraging the spread of head lice. Second Red Flag was EVERY client is facing AWAY from the mirror. It made for a most impersonal experience. My stylist was polite, but I was unable to properly engage in a personable conversation with the occasional voice I heard standing behind me. It would have been great to the placement of foils as I like some closer to my scalp. I do hope the owner becomes passionate about the health of the community, finds the love of proper hospitality, and steps up their game.

He always finishes it off with the close scrap of the fuzzy areas, too, leaving you feeling fresh and clean. A good side attraction are the old-school characters who sometimes hang out here while you get your haircut. Some of the more entertaining, local conversations you will hear. Good prices, too -- only deals in cash. Call ahead for a reservation, although he's taken me in as a walk-in too many times without quibbling.
