Not balls but strips in a very light batter. Delicious. Sweet and sour sauce, once again, the same anywhere. Chicken chop suey, great with wonderful well cooked, white chicken pieces. Deep fried chilli beef, once again delicious. Szechuan chilli beef, a little disappointing. Sauce very liquid and certainly not very chilli. However, the whole meal was enjoyable. Food price was similar to our other outlet but this was increased by the delivery charge. Even though the restaurant is closer they charge whereas our other outlet does not charge for deliveries within 3 miles and over £15 order. So a slight down on that one. Free prawn crackers, a plus. Also, two fortune cookies, a nice touch. Taking everything into account I would say The China Village is about half a star lower than our usual restaurant but......I'll stick with 4 stars.
