Tomatoes, cucumber, and lettuce were fresh and vibrant. The chicken was moist and abundant. It was filling and I had leftovers. I was really happy with the meal we had. The time it took for us to receive order, on the other hand, took way too long. It was quite a while, but to be fair, there was a lot of people who have ordered before us. It was also amazing to see the high volume of traffic this place gets. The takeaway appeal it provides to its clients is highly efficient, but less effective if it takes too long.

At one point he randomly walked off and we were like "uhhh what". Then he came back and continued taking our order. I loved the saag paneer and the daal. The lamb chops and chicken tikka masala weren't as good as Tayyabs, the chicken being notably worse. Price point was about the same. Our total was only £20 pp though, so definitely felt like the food was a good value. Between 3 and 4 stars at this point, so the deciding factor for me is the fact that neither stall in the women's toilets locked. Overall, Tayyabs and Lahore are, on paper, very similar restaurants, and Tayyabs (in my opinion) is the clear winner.
