I've had appointments with them in Kerrville, Boerne, and San Antonio (main office and surgery center). At times, and on some days, the waiting area can be crowded - especially at the main office in San Antonio. Dr. Brunin is a corneal specialist who is at different offices on particular days. Miriam is amazing coordinating appointments and screening patients. I don't think I've ever had a long wait. I plan to continue seeing them to follow up on my vision.

Since the pandemic ended, doctor's offices have learned to economize so booking your appointment is pretty much written in stone. Any changes and the customer will suffer delays. That's why I changed my dentist to Fredericksburg Dentistry. They are very accommodating and still old school when it comes to dentistry, cleaning teeth or periodontal maintenance. The place is very clean, all their front office people are friendly and of course, the hygienist and dentists in the back office are busy treating their patients. I have had the same hygienist for all my previous visits, and we are becoming more acquainted with each other. She has the softest touch! It's quite a drive for me to get there from my hill country home but it's worth it. What normally would have been a 25-minute trip became 45 minutes because of road construction and maintenance. No matter, just being able to drive to Fredericksburg is a joy by itself!

A month before my appointment I receive a bill for an office visit that hadn't happened yet. Called the office to have that removed from my account. They had no clue as to why I was getting a bill. The day of my appointment, I show up to be told I'm a day early, but I have an email confirming my appointment day and time. They can not see me, can not work me in and the day and time they have me down for I can not do. I took off of work for this appointment and I can't take off another day. Their only solution was to reschedule me two months out. I'm trying to find another doctor because I'm not sure about this place. The doctor comes highly recommended, but the office staff don't have it together and are rude.

Staff was nice but not professional, at least in my opinion. They also misplaced my patient information (which I had just filled out), which also delayed me being seen. Once in with the Dr, I begin to explain my situation. He asks if I happen to have the results of my lab work, which I didn't. He doesn't bother to look up from his computer, nor does he address or acknowledge any of my concerns. He does, however, interrupt me to suggest a medication dose modification (which I hadn't started taking due to concerns of if it was actually needed, part of the reason I was there). It essentially felt as if he had zero interest in me being there. I would definitely not recommend!
