5 stars for 24 hours. I came in on a Saturday night around 530 pm and the line was so long!! There was literally 23 people ahead of me but it was the only place open and I needed to cash my check. Surprisingly, the line went by super quick! I waited for no more than 20 minutes and if I was there any longer it's because it was my first time and the check reader wasn't working. For all the bad reviews, I was already irritated when I walked in but I walked out with no problem and the service was great. All the females that were working that night were all trying to get the line going as quick as possible and all friendly. Thanks. Ps. They charge less than ace cash when cashing check. I wouldn't recommend this awful place, not only is working and seeing the manager and some supervisors treat the hardworking employees difficult to see but how the manager manages certain tasks is downright unprofessional and needs to be looked into. I give this place a 0/10 cause of the manager and some strict supervisors but a 10/10 to the employees by the window for displaying perseverance under an unskilled and unprofessional higher ups. read more

I cannot express the level of outrage and disgust I feel toward this business! Checks (STOLEN from my mail) were cashed here with ZERO verification or due diligence. How do you even operate as a financial institution when you can't do the bare minimum to ensure the checks you cash are legitimate? Your recklessness has cost me hours of stress, financial headaches, and the invasion of my personal security. Do you even train your staff to verify ID properly, or is fraud just an everyday occurrence in your establishment? I demand answers as to how this was allowed to happen and what you're doing to ensure this doesn't happen to anyone else. Until then, I will be filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau and encouraging others to avoid your irresponsible, careless operation at all costs. read more

ANNOYED....First time here and came in to get a money order. One of the clerks came out to announce in Spanish (that I'm not that fluent in) to create a new line on the side for money orders only. I had already waited in line for 15min and had 4 more people ahead of me to then find myself in the back of the NEW money order line with 11 people ahead me after they all rushed over....She was trying to help the wait but she could have done it a lot better while asking people to maintain their place in line... A few of us were behind bars in the main line so we couldn't rush there as fast as the others. 25min later I make it to a clerk to be helped...nah fam, That's not how you cater to ALL of your guests. Next time, have a sign up permanently or take the people in the main line 1st, then ask everyone else to follow behind. Never coming here again! read more

The hours are incorrectly listed here. They are actually open 24/7. If you need to cash a check and don't have a bank account this is the place to do it. They don't need to have your workplace open to verify the funds are available unlike some meaning they can cash it at any hour. The staff is friendly and helpful and know what they're doing. The worst experience in my life. Even though I come here often because they open 24 and I have time to come only at night but the customer service is really not only unprofessional it's rude and no one gives a **** about you. We came here with my wife to send money to our country. And after a long line at the end of our process they told us they can not accept the money because I gave it to my wife to pass to the cashier. They told us they cannot accept it anymore. Ok, I get it. Policy. I come back and started the process again. This place is 24 hours which is great! We came early in the morning, so there were only a few people in line. After some light investigation of proof of work and inputting you in the system, my friend was able to cash her work check within a matter of 10 minutes. It also had a very budget friendly fee. If you need to cash a check right away, I suggest coming here. read more

Very pleasant surprise. I came in to get a money order. Upon going to the counter and getting my money order Levi's me that don't charge for money orders very nice. We also have DMV services here so you don't have to sit on DMV until you know for four hours. Very nice service. Only warning, don't use the ATM, it's expensive $2.75 read more

This place has horrible service. Point blank period. Yesterday I went to use their western union services and i was told that they aren't working. I was even told that the service isn't working at any other place either. Luckily i had a little bit of money to last me. Went again today, and told again that they aren't working. It sounded really fishy to me so i called western union customer service and lo and behold, there's NOTHING WRONG with their systems. I went to a liquor store and had no issues with getting my money. After the experience I had today it was incumbent upon me to write this review based on how well they serve the customers.They were courteous & professional at best.I have patronize PLS for years & have always received nothing but respect. They service you with a smile and the conversation is always pleasant. Today I went in to cash 2 checks and get a money order & by the way, the money orders are free! I was serviced by Kimberly(the cashier) and the manager (Ashley) who worked as a team and I must say Ashley is the best negotiator! They would not let me leave until I was satisfied, and I was!
