I would highly recommend Pleasure Pools & Spas to anyone looking for a reliable, professional, and fairly priced pool and spa company. From the beginning, their team has been extremely responsive and easy to work with. They communicate clearly, follow through on what they say they will do, and have consistently handled our needs in a timely and professional manner. What has impressed me most is the combination of excellent service and very reasonable pricing. It can be difficult to find a company that provides high-quality work, great customer service, and competitive pricing, but Pleasure Pools & Spas has delivered on all three. Our experience with them has been excellent, and I truly appreciate their responsiveness, professionalism, and commitment to taking care of their customers. I would not hesitate to recommend Pleasure Pools & Spas to friends, family, or anyone looking for a company they can trust. Sincerely, Steve Sevener read more

Charles with Pleasure Pools replaced my old fiberglass pool 19 years ago and replaced it with an amazing gunite pool with an added spa. I am very happy with the pool that Charles at Pleasure Pools to perfection. The pool is still looking Great today as it did when finished 19 years ago. Charles was present every day during the construction from sunrise to sunset with his excellent team that does phenomenal work, cleaned up the site every day, and takes obvious pride in doing the right job for me and my family to provide many years of enjoyment. Charles and his team were personable, professional, and persistent in building my pool. I would give a 10 Star rating on a scale of 5 to Charles and his team at Pleasure Pools. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM!! My husband and I interviewed and met with several pool companies in hopes of finding the right company to build our pool. We chose to go with Pleasure Pools and Spa. We really liked working with Whitney (our sales person). We received the contract for us to sign and after careful review there were a few issues that we felt should have been changed or at least discussed. For starters, they wanted final payment of the pool prior to plaster. I always feel that least a percentage of the payment should be paid to the company after completion of the job once all parties agree that the job is complete and satisfactory. There is nothing left to protect the customer. Also, there were a few other contradictory issues in the contract which were very minor. We discussed our concerns with Whitney as well as sent a letter addressed to her and the owner Charles Elfert dated February 4, 2021. To this day, June 24, 2021, we have not heard from anyone verbally or in writing. I spent a month calling, emailing and leaving messages for them to at least call me back. read more

I am a board-certified veterinary surgical specialist and the owner of South Paws Veterinary Specialists in Mandeville. We have thoroughly enjoyed working with the builders from Pleasure Pools. As a small business owner, I am always appreciative of excellent customer service. Not only are they a talented group of pool builders, they are now what I consider good friends as well. Aimee Elfert is an excellent designer and really listened to what we were looking for. She took our ideas for a dream pool and put it into an amazing 3-D render. She has been more than flexible in helping us make good decisions and help us design an amazing, dream pool with beautiful materials. Homer oversees the building process and has a great attention to detail. As a surgeon, I appreciate him really staying on top of things and paying attention to the details. Additionally, I can tell they have a real love for building swimming pools, the same love I have for taking care of animals. Building a pool is definitely a process. Just like building a home, nothing will ever be perfect. People should educate themselves about the pool building process. There are many things that can hold up the process, weather being #1. Rain can really slow the process. So so before you get mad at your pool builder for taking too long, remember that weather, permitting, subcontractors can all slow down the process! These are really good folks and I can promise you have a real passion for building pools. They never want to sign off on anything that isn't up to their high standards. Definitely a great group to work with! I would highly recommend them. Sincerely, Robert Hancock, DVM, MS, Diplomate ACVS, CHT-V read more

Relationship: Client Project Date: April 2011 Project Price Range: $50,000 - $100,000 Would not recommend Pleasure Pools. Pleasure pools designed and constructed a pool for me in 2011. The workmanship was extremely poor and the as-constructed pool was not in accordance with the design. The owner of the company made zero efforts to rectify their errors. Please feel free to contact me with if you are considering engaging Pleasure Pools to build a pool for you.
