As a small business owner, I am always appreciative of excellent customer service. Not only are they a talented group of pool builders, they are now what I consider good friends as well. Aimee Elfert is an excellent designer and really listened to what we were looking for. She took our ideas for a dream pool and put it into an amazing 3-D render. She has been more than flexible in helping us make good decisions and help us design an amazing, dream pool with beautiful materials. Homer oversees the building process and has a great attention to detail. As a surgeon, I appreciate him really staying on top of things and paying attention to the details. Additionally, I can tell they have a real love for building swimming pools, the same love I have for taking care of animals. Building a pool is definitely a process. Just like building a home, nothing will ever be perfect. People should educate themselves about the pool building process. There are many things that can hold up the process, weather being #1. Rain can really slow the process. So so before you get mad at your pool builder for taking too long, remember that weather, permitting, subcontractors can all slow down the process! These are really good folks and I can promise you have a real passion for building pools. They never want to sign off on anything that isn't up to their high standards. Charles with Pleasure Pools replaced my old fiberglass pool 19 years ago and replaced it with an amazing gunite pool with an added spa. I am very happy with the pool that Charles at Pleasure Pools to perfection. The pool is still looking Great today as it did when finished 19 years ago. Charles was present every day during the construction from sunrise to sunset with his excellent team that does phenomenal work, cleaned up the site every day, and takes obvious pride in doing the right job for me and my family to provide many years of enjoyment. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM!! My husband and I interviewed and met with several pool companies in hopes of finding the right company to build our pool. We chose to go with Pleasure Pools and Spa. We really liked working with Whitney (our sales person). We received the contract for us to sign and after careful review there were a few issues that we felt should have been changed or at least discussed. For starters, they wanted final payment of the pool prior to plaster. I always feel that least a percentage of the payment should be paid to the company after completion of the job once all parties agree that the job is complete and satisfactory. There is nothing left to protect the customer. Also, there were a few other contradictory issues in the contract which were very minor. We discussed our concerns with Whitney as well as sent a letter addressed to her and the owner Charles Elfert dated February 4, 2021. To this day, June 24, 2021, we have not heard from anyone verbally or in writing. I spent a month calling, emailing and leaving messages for them to at least call me back. read more

The workmanship was extremely poor and the as-constructed pool was not in accordance with the design. The owner of the company made zero efforts to rectify their errors.
