I have not received my deposit, which has been owed to me since August. The daycare has cited bankruptcy as the reason, but since then there has been little to no communication, no updates on the status of my funds, and I have essentially been ignored whenever I follow up. After doing some research, I learned that I am not the only one affected. Other families have also not received their deposits, and there are even teachers who have not been paid. This raises serious concerns about how the situation has been handled. It is incredibly frustrating and disheartening to be treated this way after years of loyalty and reliability. If you are considering enrolling your child here, proceed with extreme caution. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise against trusting your money--or your peace of mind--with a business that is clearly struggling and failing to communicate or take responsibility. Do not sign up with this daycare.

The Montessori approach here is outstanding--our child is not only learning academically but also developing independence, confidence, and a genuine love for learning. The classrooms are beautifully set up, safe, and full of engaging materials that spark curiosity. Communication with the staff is excellent; they keep us updated and are always responsive to our questions. It's clear they put the children first in everything they do. My granddaughter looks forward to going every day, which says it all. We are so grateful to have found this school and highly recommend Guidepost Montessori Duluth to any family looking for a supportive, enriching, and joyful environment for their little one. ~NKelly

His teachers are not only loving, attentive and caring, but also very dexterous and amazing with the babies, while striving to meet babies' individual needs. My favorite part about the institution is the individualized care and communication. No matter what is going on, the teachers are extremely attentive when I discuss Orion's needs for the day, everyone at the front office knows Orion and welcomes my questions and input during growth spurts and other challenging times. I never feel rushed, and truly feel like he is in great hands. I was not sure about daycare option in the beginning, but now I feel like I would be doing a disservice to my son, if he didn't go to Goddard, with all the stimulation and age-appropriate interaction he gets. He is always happy when I pick him up; he is very sociable outside of daycare and as also very adjusting about being fed by different people as also with napping in different environments. His developmental skills are constantly growing as well. Peachtree Corners Goddard and its wonderful staff are a very fitting new component in our lives now.

I just dropped my child off at NDA this morning where I saw the principal standing outside in…read morefreezing temperatures to greet incoming students. She helped a black child who was struggling with a backpack over his winter coat. Then, she did the laughing "chilly" dance with another much younger black child, perhaps a kindergartener or first grader, who was racing inside to escape the cold. Mrs. Deruki greeted two Asian sisters on their way in the front door and waved at a group of Hispanic siblings trekking down the sidewalk. Everyone was smiling, children and adults alike. As I witnessed all this from my car, I couldn't help but think about the review complaining about NDA's lack of diversity. This is not an all white school like so many other private schools in Georgia. In my child's class alone, there are Hispanic families, Asian families, mixed race families, and black families. I want my child in a school that welcomes all races and ethnicities, and honestly, that has been my experience at NDA. I cannot speak for other parents who may feel differently, and I feel sad for the mom who felt like her daughter's needs were not met. But, there must be more to that story that was not shared here on Yelp. My fear is that negative reviews calling NDA racist will scare away the very families that NDA wants to welcome to its community. Please don't be afraid. My daughter's experience at NDA has been wonderful. The academics are rigorous and the expectations are high. She has not loved every single teacher, but some teachers are adored, deeply. And that's life, isn't it? Persevere, learn, grow. Notre Dame Academy is not a perfect fit for every student, but my Colombian American daughter loves it, and she is thriving.

I used this childcare facility from July-December 2022 and had a terrible experience. The amount of…read moretears, stress, and distraction from work caused by this facility is outrageous. I became increasingly concerned about the well-being of my infant while I had to be at work as the facility failed to provide the level of care I was promised. Inadequate communication, failure to provide my baby with her bottle as needed, constantly changing policies, an inability to implement individualized care, and a rude and uncaring manager forced us to leave at the end of the year. They did their best to gaslight me, acting as though being a first time mom means I do not know what is best for my child. Ultimately they did not deliver in what was promised when I registered, and I felt as if my child would not get what she needed unless I was constantly checking in. They also refuse to provide the information required by my dependent care FSA (MedCom, used by GCPS) so I am unable to use my FSA money to pay for childcare despite the fact that I was told the information would be provided. If you use this facility be sure to get that info before registering. Their staff is also constantly changing- I would always see the names of people I had never met or seen before in the app feeding or changing my child. You cannot enter the building to pick-up your child, and the teachers you meet are not the only ones caring for your child. It seems they constantly shuffle people and kids around to meet state minimum ratios as they can't seem to keep enough staff. It is clear that the owner and manager do not care for the children, simply the bottom line. I do not recommend using this facility- I am confident my child will be much better off at another daycare. I do not doubt that they will attempt to gaslight me once again in response to this review, and try to lie or twist reality. The truth is I have nothing to gain or lose from sharing my experience, I just hope to help others (epsecially first time moms!) avoid the stress I went through. Talking with friends with children in other daycares, I came to realize the problems I experienced were not normal daycare issues, so I am glad we switched. I know several other parents and several good teachers have also left recently, many of the parents due to experiencing similar issues. I would recommend finding another provider- there are several more in the area with tuition only slightly higher. I will happily pay a little more a month for lower ratios, consistency, peace of mind, and most importantly a safe and happy child.

The owner is rude and how she handles things with parents when their child has been hurt or there's a been a concerned with their child. Also there was a student that got hit by a teacher and the owner did nothing about it she never takes the blame for her actions all the things that happen at her school she always handed off to someone else or to her staff when she's on her and she's responsible for making sure those kids are safe and protect there.
