As it is very popular I would highly recommend booking a table a couple of days in advance if possible! We tried to book the same night, and it was impossible to get a table. We were however told by the locals that you could go to the restaurant and be placed on stand-by to get a table. We did this and it was craaaazy! The wait was not to bad - 40 minutes - but we surely was not alone to do this. It felt like we were just as many standing in line as there was guests eating in the restaurant! It is located close to the old town of Alghero and it is easy to get to and it has a small outdoors serving to complement the restaurant. Both me and my company ordered pizza, with the exception that mine was gluten free. Boy should you order the pizza if you are gluten intolerant! This was the best pizza I have ever had! It had the perfect balance of crunch and softness and the dough actually looked like and tasted like pizza! Here they make their own dough and it was far from the usual sad version of pizza that most of us needing GF are used to getting when eating pizza. As they make their own pizza, we as GF can choose from the same menu as the rest of the guest, leaving you with something close to 40 variants. My companion had a regular pizza and was also very pleased with texture and taste, so this is a restaurant that everyone can enjoy. They have everything that is gluten free clearly marked on the menu and this is a restaurant where we GF people can go crazy. There are bread, pizza and pasta for us to enjoy in abundance! The restaurant was very busy on the Saturday that we were there, but the staff still managed to give fairly fast service. As this place is highly popular and not a "Michelin"-type of restaurant, the atmosphere is relaxed and the volume at times could pretty loud. The waiter knew right away that we were the guests that had inquired about GF options when booking the table, and informed us directly when handing us the menus that they had gluten free pasta and that all but one dish could be made GF. He presented the daily specials with great detail and knowledge and recommended us a local wine from a very small family vineyard. We had the wine and is was one of the best wines we had in Sardinia! We shared a devils fish pasta as starter and then I had the Black Angus seared with gorgonzola, pear and walnuts and it was a real feast for my tastebuds. My companion tried the sausage and was also real pleased. I would highly recommend this place to anyone (GF or not) as both the service and the food was excellent!

It is an Italian seafood restaurant with all freshness you can have in the ingredients. In trip advisor, they say that it is recommended by the local fisherman. We had the fishes of the day and some side boiled vegetables. They were all awesome. We also had a Tiramisu, which was awesome too. The food really feels fresh and it seems cooked on the day. The owner and waiter had a proper English to explain the menu in detail. I have only compliments to this restaurant, that's why I added this Sardinian Pearl in Yelp! It would be a pity that people miss this great restaurant.

I had the Sardinian bread lasagne which was tasty, my partner had Algherese linguine which was lovely. It had that perfect subtlety of flavours you get with Italian seafood dishes that can be hard to recreate. We shared a seadas (traditional Algherese deep fried pastry with ricotta and honey) to finish. With a bottle of wine, it worked out about €25 a head. We didn't have a booking, but it's probably a good idea to make one, it got pretty busy past 8:30. Also if you book, you could try and get a table outside, inside is a bit warm.
