The one star was for the finance department, Amber, and the GM, Michael. Those two are a very poor reflection on the rest of the crew in Des Moines. We have had no issues with the shop people or anyone else. I would definitely buy another camper from Andy V, but if I were you, I would search for financing and extended warranties elsewhere. There are better deals out there. I give Andy V five stars.

He said we had to put $2500 refundable deposit down JUST to get pictures! I said we don't pay for pictures but thanks anyway. He said that was okay he had another customer he was going to show it to (with no pictures??) and I said great! Less than 30 minutes later he was sending me all sorts of pictures of the unit (at least we assume it was the unit). Red flag #1. He then followed up with me several times which is fine and I said hubby wanted to keep looking but keep sending us ideas! He said "It's pretty rare to find such unit but good luck." Instead of simply saying he understood and would be happy to keep an eye out for another toy hauler that met our requirements! Red Flag #2. I responded, "Your last comment was unnecessary. We will now discontinue working with you. He responded, "No problem. Have a great day." Obviously requiring $2500 for JUST pictures is a scam. We will never work with this dealership.

I was told that prior to this they had done a complete check on all items and there were no issues that needed attention and it was ready to go camping. Well.. no. The first time I hooked up to city water to de-winterize the whole inside flooded due to bad leaky fittings. Replaced those myself. Went to pull the drawer out from under the couch, only to find it was broken and the slide bearings were actually in the drawer itself. The final thing I have found ... For now is that when I went to replace the tires when I pulled one of the wheels off I found that the hub bearing dust cap and sleeve were missing and in their place was duct tape. Called "Billy" in service... no help he must ask the general manager for assistance with any issues. Zack the GM called and that is where the fun starts. I spent hard-earned $$ on a trailer that I was told was t"thoroughly gone through" only to find it wasn't. Zack said they don't check bearings, which I was ok with but when they checked the brakes they would have to pull wheels and it would have been found, However, to check brakes, they don't physically check them. He told me they lift the unit and check to make sure they work, basically just spinning the tire. I wanted it noted that when I called I am a very frustrated and upset customer. Zack accused me of yelling at him, (I was talking firmly and a bit loud, but far from yelling) and told me he would hang up. He told me they just check the "major things, Refridge, stove water heater furnace and ac. I offended him and he got very upset when I asked how they could check the water heater when the water wasn't turned on, because the camper would have flooded if it was. All in all, very disappointed in this dealership and hope I haven't got a money trap. Not sure I will ever buy from them again, nor recommend them as they don't sell ethically or back up their sales.

A 8514.84 was given to them to do all the work discussed. After waiting and calling and not getting any response we decided to stop bye, this rv center is about 75 miles from where we live. The service person Meisha also said we need the tires check. We were told they ordered all parts. But they had de winterized, and washed it and sealed it and applied the ecopro. On April 15 we went there and after and heated conversion the sales manage told us the level jacks did not work and that was not his fault, we informed him they worked when the rv was dropped off to them. The sales manager told the service person to get our rv and they were done working on it. This was a very unprofessional way to deal with this. They broke the jacks and said to bad he was done with the rv, he did say they would refund 4800 dollars. When we took the rv home, we check out what they say they did. We found out that back up camera was broke. We had to tire shop because the front tires where bad and cost 700 dollars rv1 told us our tires where good. But the tires where bad we found steel belts on the right front side and it was very dangerous to drive because at any time they could blow and could cause a lot damage to us or anyone else who was around us, this was only part of the lies we were told. They never even ordered the jack, the water tank is bad and they say everything was ok. So now we had to take the rv to another service center to get the things fixed that they broke and lied about doing. We were told that a 4800 refund check was coming it had to go through corporate office and that was on April 15 and we still have not got it. This was the worse serve we had ever had. We have all the documents to back up what we are saying. We looked up the RV1 on the BBB website and found this is a problem with your company. This is a brief and not all inclusive list of items. 1) We want our money back and want RV1 to pay for the items we had fixed that your service center broke. I purchase a 2022 RV from them spending about 195 K. The initial deal and salesman Mike was great. They matched the deal from another dealer I was considering. Before I traveled the 600 miles to complete the deal, another salesman contacted me asking for pictures of my trade-in. They had someone already interested in it. I got there two hours early for my appointment to close the deal. I waited for over three and a half hours later and they dropped the value by $ 5000. The original quoted was at the low wholesale value of 30K. They said there was water damage (wrinkles in the wallpaper in the cab over) though no other signs of water damage were present. The wall was solid, no water stains, and the cab over is all fiberglass and no window in the area. The rig was also just out of storage where it had been covered. I know that wrinkled wallpaper in R.V.'s is not uncommon and not due to water. In fact, the unit they sold me had some wrinkles. They also wanted new tires on it, even though I told them before hand there was maybe one of two seasons left in them. However, I accepted the misunderstanding and agree to "split the difference" with them and accept a $2500 reduction in my trade. They counteroffered with $500. I had been there after a 600-mile trip way and over 3 and a half hours and was plain worn down, so I begrudgingly accepted the offer, knowing I would probably lose my $2500 deposit if I walked away (had seen this as an issue in some reviews). I even bought their warranty (which furthered their profit) Where I realized I had been had is when I got home my trade-in was listed as pending with a listed price at the high end of retail of 154K. So, I called and was told they sold it for much less. I know they probably negotiated the price down, but even if they honored their original price, they would have still got it for wholesale, with new tires. Also, there is not a similar unit for less than 140K nationally, and averaging 150K. I know they have to make a profit, but between what they made off the new rig and trade-in, how much should a customer give up. I realize I have no recourse other than to let others know, and certainly not do business with them again. I guess that extra 5K was worth losing a return customer that just spent 195K.
