I like 'finding' places like this, that are still undiscovered by the majority of people- but will be blow up in the next year or so. The servers here are friendly, the food is mainly healthy and comforting and the drinks are on point. And in case you are a recycling freak (it's 2019, get with the program) you'll love this place even more. I would sit here all day if the WiFi were a bit stronger, but look, that's honestly the only downside. Along the way, I hope they can heat up the sandwiches and serve them freshly made in front of your face. A bigger food menu would be nice, I could see this place bloom as a breakfast stop. Such as EGG in Brighton, The Waffle in Los Angeles and Peck 47 in Brussels. As far as recommendations for your first visit, go crazy... you can't go wrong. Enjoy!

I wasn't sure exactly what to expect, so today during lunch I went to check it out. First of all, super friendly staff!! I was greeted immediately once the door opened by the cashiers/baristas who had huge smiles on their faces. The decor is really beautiful and clean. I wish I had more time to really sit and order a coffee and dine-in, but as I mentioned above, I only had 30 minutes to get food, eat, and be back on time for class. I didn't realize it before going in, but Sebastien has freshly made packaged food ready for takeaway - think Exki. Everything looked really delicious, but I found the prices a bit high for what was offered. I decided on the chicken wrap with vegetables and pepper sauce - 5 euros and took it to go. It was really good and fresh, but I expected a bit more filling for the price. Quick and easy - will definitely go back!

Still it's not a neo-snobbish façade as you might think. The customers are relaxed and friendly. Korsakov has a complete floor for smokers; just take the spiral staircase and take your drink with you. During weekends, don't worry that the bar will close early, unless you mean early in the morning. Since this bar is a very popular place, it might happen that it's completely crammed. Just go to one of the other nice pubs on the square. They are fun too and they have a long history of coolness.

They have a chill outdoor sitting for this times of warmth, and some good snacks. I am yet to try the proper food but it sounds good. Although I'm becoming a regular here, there are things I really dislike (and they're the reason I didn't give 4 stars). I don't know what the deal is with service in this city, but a lot of the times I find myself in nice, chill places with horrible service. In this particular case, there are a couple members of the staff (not all of them) who have the wrong attitude: Not making eye contact, responding to your questions in a mean way, or even a freaking smile. People often forget it's their job. And no matter what you do for a living, do it right. No wonder why "tipping" is not a thing in Antwerp. But still, I'll be a regular in this place. I can't let this ruin my experience anymore.
