The cupcakes are balanced (not soggy or dry) and the dough is not too sweet. The girl who serviced my friends and I was super sweet and she really made us feel welcome. I think 3€ a piece is a fair price for these. The only downside is that you cannot sit at the shop and have a cup of coffee and enjoy your cupcake.

I had a marvellous one with mascarpone and my girlfriend chose one with rhubarb. As I took a first bite, my first thought was horrifying. This place has ruined cupcakes for me. There is no way I'll be able to find a better cupcake than this!! How dare they be so good? What gives them the right of being this addictive, soft, moist and delicious? I had no choice, I needed to eat my girlfriend's cupcake and prevent her from falling into this spell. But I was too late, the way she looked at that cupcake had more love than when she looks at me. They have tea and coffee options, which is very nice, since it's always tea time at Alice in Cakeland. The decor is very cute! They offer classes and have a bring a book, take a book shelf. My favorite cupcake I've tried so far is the Carrot Cake, I love the spices in it! The staff is incredibly friendly and has no problem explaining things in English or Dutch!

They've got a selection of cupcakes which you can pick from (with incredibly cute names like "Carameltdown", "Peachy Perfect" and "Strawberry Sweetie"), but they also do cakes and brownies. So far, every cupcake I've tried tastes amazing and just makes me want to try more of them. The girls at the counter are incredibly helpful and will take the time explaining what kind of flavours you can expect from which type of cupcake. It's a reasonably small place, so I wouldn't recommend it for groups, but it's very nice to sit inside when you're with a friend. They also have a few tables outside, but in my opinion it felt kind of uncomfortable since you're pretty much sitting in the middle of a street. *They also do delivery! :)
