The lines were long as everyone was eagerly awaiting their coffee. The aesthetics characterized by its simplicity, clean lines met with a monochromatic palette colour used as an accent. This combined an open floor plan, lots of big windows and bright light, with a minimalist functional design. The upstairs showcased a clean workspace for students and professionals alike. The ceiling to floor windows drew you into the bustle of the city streets.

We're not coffee connoisseurs by any means, but a good cup of coffee is a good cup of coffee. Cuperus serves a good cup of coffee (& chai!). We ended up here on our last day in Antwerp, as it was literally around the corner from the Airbnb we were staying in (also included this info on the Airbnb review!). There was 1 guy working, who was h.a.n.d.l.i.n.g-i.t. We bought several bags of coffee to bring home with us & have been enjoying Cuperus ever since!

Actually, I would probably go as far as calling it an Old Man Pub, namely because it seems to be one of those bars that is more for the locals as opposed to tourists like me, which does mean that you get some odd stares when you walk inside (and they probably aren't looking for Yelp reviews which would result in Yelpers descending upon the place). Nice place for a beer, but pretty standard.
