Maybe it's the rating, maybe it was the rain, the cafe was full with people lining up outside for a table. We waited for 25min or so to get a table. At this time already more people queued up behind us. Menu was simple, which made it easy for us to order. We ordered the egg benedict with bacon/ham, and egg benedict with spinach, soup of the day (it was yam soup) and some drinks. Food arrived in 5-10min and oh mine everything was delicious down to the artisan bread that accompanied the soup. Quite the hearty brunch that we needed to warm up from rain and power through the rest of the day. Service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.

There is what looks like a dedicated start up floor, so kinda incubator style office space for those kicking off their new venture, which looks reserved however if you continue up to the second floor, check out the greatwide open space which has some great seating areas and spacious pallet furniture which is all cushioned and looks unbelievably cosy. There is a book shelf which has all sorts of inspiration reads. Dotted around the walls are inspiration quotes from leaders before us, with free wifi and plenty of plug in space it really is the perfect place for any free lance type of worker to come along and get plenty done. Only downside is the wifi is from a hotspot by a local Belgium provider, it didn't like my foreign status plus limits you to just one device only, need to log off on my laptop, to use wifi on mobile / vice versa The coffee shop has all sorts of great delights, light fresh food including, salads, quiches, wraps as well as some cakes/muffin treats... Am excited by their homemade lemonade offerings! I had a flat white which is the best I've had in Antwerp so far, a shy or two away from my hot Dublin spots but all the same, a fine cup of coffee and presented in a glass making it feel all that bit more special, in fact, some would say, showing off the Flat White in all it's glory! The roof terrace alone would make you wanna come here... Plenty of space out here, from tables to benches to pallet furniture lounges, there is a space for everyone here. Because I couldn't find a comfortable spot to sit while I was reading (I switched places 3 times) Coffeelabs loses a star from me. But I will definitely go back when I need to work on a project next with my computer, just not to lounge with a book and a cup of coffee.
