I was very thorough in my questioning to Dan regarding condition.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] First red flag was that they did not know Honda's current CPO warranty that is offered nationwide and tried to tell me I'd get a different warranty Honda no longer does. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Their f&i manager Omar was uneducated on the current warranty and blatantly rude even though I turned out to be correct about the warranty being longer than what they said.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The vehicle arrived with quite a few undisclosed issues such as climate console damage, rear fender damage, exhaust trim damage, rear window shade destroyed and no clips to attach it to, and it desperately needed an alignment to name a few of this LONG list. This vehicle is Honda Certified but items checked for working or being assessed were quite obviously skipped. Makes you wonder if they're inspecting anything at all in there inspections or simply checking the boxes with no true inspection! BUYER BEWARE!! This does not meet Hondas requirements and they could be sliding on by with your "certified" vehicle too! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was very patient and sent images and quotes and waited 10 days for response from Wilson Mateo Manager before hearing back after countless calls and emails asking for an update on what they plan to do regarding these issues.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I would call and no one was ever available, off that day, anything to not help! Never received a call back or apology from anyone.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Got in contact with GM Saad Mirsa and was finally promised a resolution! I was patient and grateful and just want to be out of their hair and move on with my car and life... well Saad played the same old song, ghosting me and no help![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I gave them a total of 3 months to make things right before feeling the need to review but don't let it be you!! They STILL haven't gotten back to me.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Response here and there leading me on then ghost again for 7 days over and over again. SHADY SHADY SHADY! Sending this up the latter to Honda directly regarding a certified Honda dealer selling certified vehicles not being thoroughly inspected. UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE: immediately following my bad review posted across all formats they did in fact send out the parts almost immediately(that they'd been "waiting for"). Paid the dealership near me to install and fix the issues. Then, I was told they don't offer Sunbit financing for amounts over $1,000. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I questioned this, they suddenly backtracked on that statement, which made the whole situation feel unprofessional and unreliable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] To make matters worse, I was told a single tire would cost around $310 and that they would "see what they can do" on the price. That kind of vague response, especially for something that expensive, didn't inspire any confidence and felt like they were just trying to smooth things over without actually helping. This review reflects strictly on Honda Plaza Management for their mishandling of my second key, which was signed and dated on the Honda Plaza Auto Mall contract as a "We Owe" item. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The contract stated that it is valid for only (30) THIRTY DAYS FROM THE DATE OF ISSUANCE. So on the 30th day, after still not hearing anything back regarding my second key, I gave the dealership a call (refer to call log).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was informed they would follow up, and it would be mailed along with my new plate. So patiently (perhaps stupidly), I believed them.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]To keep things short and sweet, I followed up on Jan 11, Jan 13, Jan 28, Feb 8, and Feb 16 regarding the whereabout of my keys, only to receive crickets, except for Amia but the situation was out of her control.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Whether Honda Plaza Management intentionally let the contract validity lapsed and simply ignored my follow-ups or it was miscommunication, the fact is this: The contract stated Plaza Honda owes me a key fob programming and key cut, which was signed and dated Dec 6th. This is valid for 30 days. On the 30th day, I called for an inquiry and was told they would look into it and mail it along with my plate. The plate was eventually mailed, but not the key. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After an additional six follow-ups, my emails were ignored by the people who could resolve the issue.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] At this point, it is a loss. But this dealership will never get any business from me, my family, my friends, my coworkers, my neighbors, my acquaintances, or anyone who is thinking of buying a vehicle from Plaza Honda again. This is the reason why car brands like Tesla, Rivian, and Lucid which sells directly to consumers are thriving, because of practices like this. read more

I had a very disappointing experience with Plaza Honda. I came in expecting the dealership to honor a price that had been discussed through text and email, but when I arrived, the numbers changed and the deal was not handled the way it was presented to me beforehand. What was most disappointing was not just the price change, but the way the situation was handled. Instead of feeling like a valued customer, I felt pressured and disrespected. After I decided to leave, I heard comments from employees that were unprofessional and unnecessary. After leaving the dealership, I attempted to contact the sales team to address my concerns and resolve the situation. Unfortunately, my calls were repeatedly disconnected, and my attempts to communicate were ignored. This made the experience even more frustrating and gave me the impression that my concerns were not taken seriously. I understand that negotiations are part of buying a vehicle, but transparency, professionalism, and respect should always be part of the process. A dealership should stand behind what is communicated to customers and treat people respectfully, even if a deal cannot be reached. If I could give less than one star for the Plaza Honda service dealership, I would. I went there for servicing about a week ago and spent almost $1100. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They left the maintenance minder code on in my car and when I went back there to get it reset, they were unprofessional, rude, dismissive, and very disrespectful[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. They spoke to me like I didn't know anything about my own car and told me that the code stays on the car even after it has been serviced which I know is a lie because I've gotten my car serviced plenty of times before. I came here because they were the only dealership that had a Honda Civic hatchback in the trim I wanted. I got a pre-approved Chase loan that had the APR and monthly payment rate I liked. I told my salesperson and the financial officer about my pre-approval loan. They said they will utilize it in my purchase of my car. When it was time to sign the papers, the finance officer told me that he couldn't get me the Chase pre-approval loan. He said it was a ploy by banks to "get you through the door." He then told me the only best loan he could get was from Honda Financing (what a coincidence!). The APR and monthly payments were much higher than the original pre-approved loan I had. The loan was going to have me pay $50k for a $35k car. I called Chase up to ask why I couldn't get their pre-approved loan and they said the dealership lied to me. They made me sign lying to my face that that was the best loan they could get me. I went to the dealership today to get them to return the car, and they refused. They said that I signed the contract so I cannot return the car. They refused to accept that they made me sign the loan under false pretenses. I trusted him, but later I found out that this form was for a hard credit inquiry. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is important because a hard inquiry goes on your credit report and can temporarily lower your credit score. I'm new to the U.S. and didn't know this, and the manager never took the time to explain anything.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] A salesperson should always make sure the customer understands what they are signing, especially when it affects their credit. Bought a like new preowned Subaru here in September with 2000 miles. Initially it was a 5 star review, but head dealt with a lot of people and they amongst their dealerships have a ton of cars so there was some confusion along the way about the delivery time and a few numbers, which were all eventually corrected. Long story short, come in ready to buy for factory financing, pre established financing or cash and you will be fine here. Come in with no idea how to buy a car, and you'll have a bullseye painted on your forehead at ANY dealership in the united states. They have low dealer processing fee, the vehicle internet price is the price, bring a printout for proof and leave a deposit. I head dealt with Angelo over the phone who looked the vehicle over and assured me of the numbers since I was out of state, he was never incorrect and got me there, my sales Girl Brianna was very nice and helpful and worked everything out for picking up the car and getting some corrections. After a week Angelo gave me a follow up, and then a few months later and just today, never had anyone reach out 4 months after a deal. read more

I usually have good experience with them but yesterday was unbelievable. The service rep was uncooperative, rude, and plain offensive talking to me. While his colleagues were apologizing for his behavior, he kept on going with his non-professional attitude even though i kept mentioning to him that he had poor customer-service manners. My fault for not researching more. It was my first car purchase ...but they are shady and I would never go there again. I came here for a factory recall on my car and it was pretty easy to make an appointment over the phone. The crew was efficient and i was out in about 2.5 hours. The space itself is pretty clean and there was ample seating. I will likely call them again after finding a random lug nut in my floor. Not sure if it's a coincidence, but I've been having issues with my custom stereo ever since. Hopefully this will be taken care of asap. Awful place. Straight up bold face lied to me on a letter they sent to my house telling me that this weekend I would get additional cash on top of my trade in value. Could have been MUCH better. Not that they didn't do the work, they did the work and as far as one can tell, it was all done correctly, but the real issue that is inexcusable is that they promised to have it repaired and back to me either the same day (Monday) or the latest, the next day. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cancel the echocardiogram on Thursay and after trying to reach them all day Thursday, finally reach the Service Manager on Thursday around 5:30pm; he apologized profusely and who promised he would have all the paper work, invoice, ready for me to pay and get the car back to me on Friday morning at 10am.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Well, he didn't quite hit that mark -- I finally got my my car back at 2:30pm FOUR days after it was promised. [[HIGHLIGHT]]To be honest, that is not where they lose most of their stars, it's the frustration that was caused by not hearing from them and not being able to contact them.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I work in tech and I am well aware that estimates for repair are only best guesses because until you take apart very complex equipment and do sometimes very in-dept diagnostics, you never know what you will find and sometimes what you do find could throw very new problems into the mix that are impossible to anticipate. Got it; BUT, keep me in the loop...let me know when delays arise...don't keep the customer in the dark[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]And especially have phone numbers that actually WORK with people on the other end, or at the very least, if you MUST force the customer to leave a voice message and you promise to call back...CALL ME BACK![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The weirdest thing was that this is a huge operation -- they are dealership for nearly every car manufacturer on the dame planet, yet their main number did not get ansered by a live person with the only option was to leave a voice mail. Turns out the parking sensor system doesn't work. Took the vehicle into the servicing department on 7/24 to have it looked at. That day, they told me that they needed to order a replacement part, that it should arrive in about 2 days, and that they'd call me once it arrived so I could bring my vehicle in to be fixed. Since then, I've received no communications from them. I've called them 8 times in the past month about the status of this part, and each time the person on the phone says they can't help me but that someone else can, and that other person would give me a call back the same day or the next day. But I've never received a call back. They have repeatedly made broken promises and lost all trust. It really feels like they just don't care after making the sale, and hope for me to give up so they don't have to honor their warranty. read more

Spent three (3) hours trying to get a final price... meanwhile a foghorn strength alarm was loudly clanging away in the showroom (yes, for all 3 hours). Then they tried to FORCE me into purchasing a Lojack system for an extra $1295 and significantly low-balled the trade-in value of my crv (and to repeat myself, all while the alarms loudly reverberated off the walls). So, I walked away. THEN over a 3 day period the phone calls started... slowly offering saner deals... until they slowly offered a sale that was basically the same as dealerships everywhere else.... So why have the security system alarms loudly honking away? The salespeople stated it was screaming for the "past few weeks". It was reminiscent of the dislocating audio psych training one goes through in the military.... makes it hard to think clearly.... and All this to sell a used honda??? Simply unbelievable. My faith has finally been restored with dealerships. I've had the pleasure of being helped by SUFI. He was absolutely amazing, helpful, HONEST and really put his all into helping me get a new car. My situation was tough with returning my old lease and getting a new one, but he truly worked hard and tried to do everything possible so that I left happy and with a brand new car. Plaza Auto mall honda the worst service i ever had. The sales representatives were so rude. They don't even want to show me anything.

Was told by managers David and Dexter that I had to put a car on my insurance first (without having yet bought it) in order to receive any financing information. Was told later by my insurance company that this is absolutely not good practice. After I left without purchasing the car (which they did not even have on site), David and then other Plaza Honda employees have continued to call me every single day leaving the rudest messages insisting I call them back. I am clearly never buying a car from here. I would not recommend doing business with Plaza Honda. read more

Worst customer service. I had a simple repair job that needed to get done. After dropping off my car I spent over a week trying to get an estimate (to get an estimate they make you commit to $125 up front). Every time I called to get my quote they said the manager (Kenny) would call me back soon. After five days of calling, without getting a return call, I finally said I would wait on hold. After waiting for 30 minutes I hung up and called back only to be put on hold again for 10 minutes. I am still on hold and don't have an answer. Basically if Kenny says he will call you back, he won't. If they put you on hold they just wait you out until you hang up. When you call back they repeat the same cycle. Update: once I finally spoke with Kenny he let me know they hadn't started the process because he was out all week. I asked his colleague who then told me he had actually be in all week, but leaving early. Once I called them on lying to customers they said they couldn't do the work anymore. Don't take your car here for repairs. read more
