PLEASE READ AND BE ADVISED! SHADY Update to review below. I purchased a vehicle out of state through Plaza Honda. I was very thorough in my questioning to Dan regarding condition. First red flag was that they did not know Honda's current CPO warranty that is offered nationwide and tried to tell me I'd get a different warranty Honda no longer does. Their f&i manager Omar was uneducated on the current warranty and blatantly rude even though I turned out to be correct about the warranty being longer than what they said. The vehicle arrived with quite a few undisclosed issues such as climate console damage, rear fender damage, exhaust trim damage, rear window shade destroyed and no clips to attach it to, and it desperately needed an alignment to name a few of this LONG list. This vehicle is Honda Certified but items checked for working or being assessed were quite obviously skipped. Makes you wonder if they're inspecting anything at all in there inspections or simply checking the boxes with no true inspection! BUYER BEWARE!! This does not meet Hondas requirements and they could be sliding on by with your "certified" vehicle too! I was very patient and sent images and quotes and waited 10 days for response from Wilson Mateo Manager before hearing back after countless calls and emails asking for an update on what they plan to do regarding these issues. I would call and no one was ever available, off that day, anything to not help! Never received a call back or apology from anyone. Got in contact with GM Saad Mirsa and was finally promised a resolution! I was patient and grateful and just want to be out of their hair and move on with my car and life... well Saad played the same old song, ghosting me and no help! I gave them a total of 3 months to make things right before feeling the need to review but don't let it be you!! They STILL haven't gotten back to me. Response here and there leading me on then ghost again for 7 days over and over again. SHADY SHADY SHADY! Sending this up the latter to Honda directly regarding a certified Honda dealer selling certified vehicles not being thoroughly inspected. UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE: immediately following my bad review posted across all formats they did in fact send out the parts almost immediately(that they'd been "waiting for"). Paid the dealership near me to install and fix the issues. Rob is the best over there, their saving grace and gave me an apology and call right away. It shouldn't take a bad review to get what should've been done day 1 but they did ultimately do the right thing and take care of the issues and I am happy and in love with my vehicle now!! read more

I had an extremely frustrating experience with the Plaza Honda Service Department. I came in expecting basic support, but instead was met with inconsistency and poor customer service. First, they refused to honor a tire warranty I had from another dealership, which was already disappointing. Then, I was told they don't offer Sunbit financing for amounts over $1,000. When I questioned this, they suddenly backtracked on that statement, which made the whole situation feel unprofessional and unreliable. To make matters worse, I was told a single tire would cost around $310 and that they would "see what they can do" on the price. That kind of vague response, especially for something that expensive, didn't inspire any confidence and felt like they were just trying to smooth things over without actually helping. Overall, this experience has completely turned me off from this service department. I will not be returning, and at this point, I'm seriously reconsidering ever purchasing a vehicle from this dealership again. read more

I bought a vehicle from Plaza Honda CIVIC, and Jibunor was helpful and gave me excellent customer service. I traded my old car. The managers are great, and I recommend any person that wants a vehicle to ask for Jibunor. read more

This review reflects strictly on Honda Plaza Management for their mishandling of my second key, which was signed and dated on the Honda Plaza Auto Mall contract as a "We Owe" item. The contract stated that it is valid for only (30) THIRTY DAYS FROM THE DATE OF ISSUANCE. So on the 30th day, after still not hearing anything back regarding my second key, I gave the dealership a call (refer to call log). I was informed they would follow up, and it would be mailed along with my new plate. So patiently (perhaps stupidly), I believed them. To keep things short and sweet, I followed up on Jan 11, Jan 13, Jan 28, Feb 8, and Feb 16 regarding the whereabout of my keys, only to receive crickets, except for Amia but the situation was out of her control. Whether Honda Plaza Management intentionally let the contract validity lapsed and simply ignored my follow-ups or it was miscommunication, the fact is this: The contract stated Plaza Honda owes me a key fob programming and key cut, which was signed and dated Dec 6th. This is valid for 30 days. On the 30th day, I called for an inquiry and was told they would look into it and mail it along with my plate. The plate was eventually mailed, but not the key. After an additional six follow-ups, my emails were ignored by the people who could resolve the issue. At this point, it is a loss. But this dealership will never get any business from me, my family, my friends, my coworkers, my neighbors, my acquaintances, or anyone who is thinking of buying a vehicle from Plaza Honda again. This is the reason why car brands like Tesla, Rivian, and Lucid which sells directly to consumers are thriving, because of practices like this. read more

UPDATE: Was offered a smack in the face deal by Dwayne, Camilo & another boss I think named Rob, that the dealership would pay the lease payment for 2 months as long as I REMOVE my review. This was the "best" they could do. DO NOT GIVE THESE SKETCHY PEOPLE YOUR BUSINESS. People deserve to know the truth. These people are heartless and have no empathy. Absolute CROOKS! The prices online do not match what they tell you in person. This is a completely unethical business that does not deserve business. I have no idea how they are still running. They speak and do things so quickly to scam customers until it's too late. If you are thinking about going here please DON'T or DO YOUR RESEARCH before you go, run numbers, call other dealerships, go through a broker because if you don't they'll take you for all you got and do it with a smile knowing they're swindling you. read more

This dealership is the prime example of dishonesty, deceit and lies. Not everyone there of course but the culture there unfortunately so, avoid this place. Instead of providing an honest service, they bend over backwards to push "dealer fees", inflate the sale price and sell you useless additions such as "tire protection" plans, which do not work outside of their place. read more

Thanks to Angela Jeshill at Honda Plaza, I had a worry-free car buying experience. Angela was incredibly patient, easy-going, and kind. It was so refreshing not to have one of those sales agents who try to push you into making a decision. I was vacilating between the CRV and HRV and Angela invited me to test drive them both. She gave me time - with no pressure - to consider all options. Two days later (yesterday!!!) I drove home with my new HRV EXL and I couldn't be happier. I've been buying from Honda for many years and Angela was the best of all the car sales agents I've used in the past. When I buy again, rest assured, I'll be looking for Angela to help me with the buying process! So if you're looking for a car at Honda Plaza check out Angela! She will take really good care of you. Also sales agent Derek was very helpful as well as their (new) sales manager. They all worked together as a team in support of me, the customer. It was a great car buying experience all around! read more

Unnecessary long wait time for pick up and drop off for serviced and their parts and services are overpriced.

Buying a car is never easy nor quick, however I can say that my experience at Plaza Honda went well. This past Saturday went pretty smoothly. Even with my credit fraud protection, they worked with me, were patient and assisted me throughout the way. It is important to know what you're walking into when purchasing a vehicle and know the ins and outs of what interest is Sales tax registration fees, etc. The base price of a car is never the full price so plan ahead . I've had experience buying vehicles before so I was pretty realistic about the expectations. I could honestly say that Anthony Rodriguez was extremely pleasant, honest yes, I said, honest and transparent. I ensured I had all protective measures on my vehicle because I will be driving and exorbitant amount and there was no pressure to buy added on packages. The financial advisor was also very pleasant, professional and transparent. Hopefully I can continue to say positive things as our relationship continues. Again very realistic I understand when you first buy a car and be the same as recurring visits. Please prove me right Plaza Honda that you are as amazing as you portrayed and worthy of my five star rating! read more

I came here because they were the only dealership that had a Honda Civic hatchback in the trim I wanted. I got a pre-approved Chase loan that had the APR and monthly payment rate I liked. I told my salesperson and the financial officer about my pre-approval loan. They said they will utilize it in my purchase of my car. When it was time to sign the papers, the finance officer told me that he couldn't get me the Chase pre-approval loan. He said it was a ploy by banks to "get you through the door." He then told me the only best loan he could get was from Honda Financing (what a coincidence!). The APR and monthly payments were much higher than the original pre-approved loan I had. The loan was going to have me pay $50k for a $35k car. I called Chase up to ask why I couldn't get their pre-approved loan and they said the dealership lied to me. They made me sign lying to my face that that was the best loan they could get me. I went to the dealership today to get them to return the car, and they refused. They said that I signed the contract so I cannot return the car. They refused to accept that they made me sign the loan under false pretenses. Do not come here, everyone here is out to swindle people. read more

If I could give less than one star for the Plaza Honda service dealership, I would. I went there for servicing about a week ago and spent almost $1100. They left the maintenance minder code on in my car and when I went back there to get it reset, they were unprofessional, rude, dismissive, and very disrespectful. They spoke to me like I didn't know anything about my own car and told me that the code stays on the car even after it has been serviced which I know is a lie because I've gotten my car serviced plenty of times before. At one point, they asked me to move my car and left me sitting there in the car at the entrance, refusing to check my car and provide customer service even though I had an Appointment. It took me two trips to honda Service and speaking to a manager before the issue got resolved. I would not recommend Plaza Honda to anyone or ever go there again. They are quick to take your money, but slow to give proper customer service. My advice: Don't walk, Run away from this dealership. read more

I cannot stress enough how terrible this place is for any form of business The customer service is by far the worst I have ever encountered in my entire life, There is absolutely no sense of urgency no accountability and no respect for customers time I purchased a vehicle from them back in 2024 and to this day I am STILL waiting for the email with all the necessary paperwork No followups no callbacks after leaving several messages, just complete negligence Its baffling how a business can operate with such incompetence and lack of professionalism I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy Save yourself the frustration and take your business elsewhere There are far better options with actual customer service that values your time and money Zero stars, if I could give negative stars I would. read more

Very disappointed with this dealership. They treat customers poorly and make you feel like they only want to sell you anything, not actually help you find the right car. I told the manager I wasn't sure what I wanted and was open to different options. Instead of asking helpful questions or showing me cars, he kept asking unrelated things and then started questioning whether I even had credit cards or could get approved for a loan. He then gave me a form to fill out without explaining what it was for. I trusted him, but later I found out that this form was for a hard credit inquiry. This is important because a hard inquiry goes on your credit report and can temporarily lower your credit score. I'm new to the U.S. and didn't know this, and the manager never took the time to explain anything. A salesperson should always make sure the customer understands what they are signing, especially when it affects their credit. I ended up wasting 40 minutes, and the manager kept walking away instead of helping me. Terrible experience overall. I bought a car the next day at another dealership where they actually treated me with respect and helped me properly. read more

Bought a like new preowned Subaru here in September with 2000 miles. Initially it was a 5 star review, but head dealt with a lot of people and they amongst their dealerships have a ton of cars so there was some confusion along the way about the delivery time and a few numbers, which were all eventually corrected. Long story short, come in ready to buy for factory financing, pre established financing or cash and you will be fine here. Come in with no idea how to buy a car, and you'll have a bullseye painted on your forehead at ANY dealership in the united states. They have low dealer processing fee, the vehicle internet price is the price, bring a printout for proof and leave a deposit. I head dealt with Angelo over the phone who looked the vehicle over and assured me of the numbers since I was out of state, he was never incorrect and got me there, my sales Girl Brianna was very nice and helpful and worked everything out for picking up the car and getting some corrections. After a week Angelo gave me a follow up, and then a few months later and just today, never had anyone reach out 4 months after a deal. read more

I came here for a factory recall on my car and it was pretty easy to make an appointment over the phone. The crew was efficient and i was out in about 2.5 hours. The space itself is pretty clean and there was ample seating. I will likely call them again after finding a random lug nut in my floor. Not sure if it's a coincidence, but I've been having issues with my custom stereo ever since. Hopefully this will be taken care of asap. I usually have good experience with them but yesterday was unbelievable. The service rep was uncooperative, rude, and plain offensive talking to me. While his colleagues were apologizing for his behavior, he kept on going with his non-professional attitude even though i kept mentioning to him that he had poor customer-service manners. He even told me that unless i had the EXACT cash amount i was charged i would not get my car and that "i better find a store to make change and get the exact amount" to bring. After reading the various reviews, it is evident that the managers at that place have no respect either for their customers. read more

Seller was nice. But made it seem like they were doing me a favor on my trade in price even though Carvana came in 2500 over for a trade in and their own website estimate came in 1100 more with poorer condition stated...then they charged me $1000 more than their website listed price on MSRP and 1.5% more on the interest rate. My fault for not researching more. It was my first car purchase ...but they are shady and I would never go there again. In response to my complaint they offered me free oil changes totaling a couple hundred bucks to "help them out with the review". Not addressing the issue at all.....Never again. read more

Awful place. Straight up bold face lied to me on a letter they sent to my house telling me that this weekend I would get additional cash on top of my trade in value. Could have been MUCH better. Not that they didn't do the work, they did the work and as far as one can tell, it was all done correctly, but the real issue that is inexcusable is that they promised to have it repaired and back to me either the same day (Monday) or the latest, the next day. I made it a point that I needed it by Tuesday because I had a cardiologist appointment on Wednesday. "Totally understood. No problem" I was told. When I heard nothing on Monday evening (they are open until 7pm) I tried texting -- no response -- then i called both their Service Center number and their main number - no answer couldn't believe no one answers the phone at this mega car dealership -- they represent practically every car manufacturer on the planet. All day Tuesday I am not able to communicate with them -- I am panicing wondering if I'll have the car for my appointment the next day. no communication from them to me and NO RESPONSE to various voice mails left at of each of their phone numbers. Cancel the echocardiogram on Thursay and after trying to reach them all day Thursday, finally reach the Service Manager on Thursday around 5:30pm; he apologized profusely and who promised he would have all the paper work, invoice, ready for me to pay and get the car back to me on Friday morning at 10am. Well, he didn't quite hit that mark -- I finally got my my car back at 2:30pm FOUR days after it was promised. To be honest, that is not where they lose most of their stars, it's the frustration that was caused by not hearing from them and not being able to contact them. I work in tech and I am well aware that estimates for repair are only best guesses because until you take apart very complex equipment and do sometimes very in-dept diagnostics, you never know what you will find and sometimes what you do find could throw very new problems into the mix that are impossible to anticipate. Got it; BUT, keep me in the loop...let me know when delays arise...don't keep the customer in the dark. And especially have phone numbers that actually WORK with people on the other end, or at the very least, if you MUST force the customer to leave a voice message and you promise to call back...CALL ME BACK! The weirdest thing was that this is a huge operation -- they are dealership for nearly every car manufacturer on the dame planet, yet their main number did not get ansered by a live person with the only option was to leave a voice mail. And for the four messages that I left over 3 days, never once did I get a call back. Seriously?! That alone deserves no stars. read more

Run don't walk as far away from Plaza Honda as you can. Negative stars - DO NOT recommend ever. I have never encountered such deceitful practices. For sleazy, scammy car dealerships, Plaza Honda must have written the book. Not once but twice Plaza Honda refused to honor the online Express Buying purchase order I completed. The first time they claimed the Express Buying was price was incorrect (but I have receipts). Next, they sold the car the morning I arrived. Despite me having sent emails back and forth up to 1 hr before I arrived. Kayla Cordova - you should be ashamed of your customer service practices. Like down right scummy. I told you I was coming out over my lunch hour from the city to pay and pick up the car cause everything was all set and yet I waited an hour for you to tell me the car was sold this morning. But funny how you just mention as I tell you I'm not interested in the other car you're trying to push on me. Instead, I want the car I purchased online. Hope karma gets you real good. That sick friend, karma. Dying parent, karma. Cancer, karma. That nasty energy you put out in the world comes right back to you one way or another at some point. read more

Edit: Plaza Honda made the repair and fixed the problem, and it was covered under warranty so i didn't need to pay for the repairs. Shout out to Kenny (one of the managers) who took note of my case and made sure it was resolved. Original review below: Purchased a vehicle from them on 7/5. Turns out the parking sensor system doesn't work. Took the vehicle into the servicing department on 7/24 to have it looked at. That day, they told me that they needed to order a replacement part, that it should arrive in about 2 days, and that they'd call me once it arrived so I could bring my vehicle in to be fixed. Since then, I've received no communications from them. I've called them 8 times in the past month about the status of this part, and each time the person on the phone says they can't help me but that someone else can, and that other person would give me a call back the same day or the next day. But I've never received a call back. They have repeatedly made broken promises and lost all trust. It really feels like they just don't care after making the sale, and hope for me to give up so they don't have to honor their warranty. read more

One of the dealerships that had a pre-certified Honda Passport.... Made an appointment.... which they did not keep. Spent three (3) hours trying to get a final price... meanwhile a foghorn strength alarm was loudly clanging away in the showroom (yes, for all 3 hours). Then they tried to FORCE me into purchasing a Lojack system for an extra $1295 and significantly low-balled the trade-in value of my crv (and to repeat myself, all while the alarms loudly reverberated off the walls). So, I walked away. THEN over a 3 day period the phone calls started... slowly offering saner deals... until they slowly offered a sale that was basically the same as dealerships everywhere else.... So why have the security system alarms loudly honking away? The salespeople stated it was screaming for the "past few weeks". It was reminiscent of the dislocating audio psych training one goes through in the military.... makes it hard to think clearly.... and All this to sell a used honda??? Simply unbelievable. Worst customer service. I had a simple repair job that needed to get done. After dropping off my car I spent over a week trying to get an estimate (to get an estimate they make you commit to $125 up front). Every time I called to get my quote they said the manager (Kenny) would call me back soon. After five days of calling, without getting a return call, I finally said I would wait on hold. After waiting for 30 minutes I hung up and called back only to be put on hold again for 10 minutes. I am still on hold and don't have an answer. Basically if Kenny says he will call you back, he won't. If they put you on hold they just wait you out until you hang up. When you call back they repeat the same cycle. Update: once I finally spoke with Kenny he let me know they hadn't started the process because he was out all week. I asked his colleague who then told me he had actually be in all week, but leaving early. Once I called them on lying to customers they said they couldn't do the work anymore.
