Living fairly close to Splash, we decided to grab up our laundry and make a day of it with getting…read moreour clothes cleaned. Splash is a nice place to do just that. The interior is spacious enough with several large industrial machines that took an almost infinite amount of clothing. Drying the clothes were also not a problem with those high capacity dryers, taking even a heavy comforter in one heat cycle. There are televisions, vending machines, and video games in splash, also with free WiFi (the password is on the counter manned by staff), and this lot (including the parking) is also shared by Zestos, in case you want snacks, or there's a Kroger grocery store as well as a line of restaurants right across the street if your loads are particularly huge and will take all day. We did no such thing and outside of a bottle of water (it does get warm in here guys), we just sat, played cards that we brought and waited for our laundry to finish. Prices for the services (which are either coin fed or have card swiping at each machine) are as follows: $9.25 gets you 8 loads of clothes washed $1.75 gets you 30 min in the dryer. If you're unable to stick around, staff will transfer your clothes from the washing machine to the dryer for $4, but just know that the last wash ends at 9 pm. Pretty convenient location to get your laundry taken care of with affordable wash fees and quick, clean service! FYI, Cards and cash are accepted here if you're worried that this is a cash only spot.

I'll spare you the details of my 2 separate run-ins with the extremely rude night manager, by…read morecontrast to whom any of the rest of the staff (ANY staff, anywhere) is a model of helpfulness and courtesy, but the laundromat itself, if you have to use one, is pretty great. It is expensive, and the fact that using the hot water and/or heavily soiled settings costs more does rankle, but the place is relatively clean and the working to out-of-service ratio on the equipment is quite high. It gets busy and crowded, but not (as far as I have seen) obnoxiously so. I've pretty consistently been in and out (washing, drying, folding several loads) in an hour and a quarter tops. Without the night manager, the stars in my rating easily jump up to about a 4.5. Manage to avoid him, and you may actually prefer Splash to doing laundry at home.

That's right I said it...each piece and every piece, coats, jackets, shirts, dresses, you name it...the BEST. Shirt came back with the button removed and replaced a full inch LOWER than before, making it nearly impossible to button. I don't get it. I've had this problem with every dry cleaner in ATL, but this company is the worst as EVERY button replacement is sewn in the wrong place.
