There is an older, more desolate wing to this place that sits closest to the bus stop. But walk further and you'll encounter a busier part with plenty of shopping options. Throughout this mall, there were art displays that added a nice touch to the place. The stores we found here were the same or similar to the stores in Los Angeles. The place was busy with tourists buying up clothing and souvenirs. The staff was friendly, and it was a relaxing environment. I'd say this is another great shopping option, comparable to the other plaza that sits along Zona Hotelera.

This shopping mall seems to have had better days. There's a bit of an occupancy problem. It's quiet. However, it feels safe. I saw security wandering around, and there aren't any locals hassling the tourists for change. In the near future, the causeway across the lagoon is going to be completed, and the causeway is going to drop off vehicles right in front of this shopping center. It'll be the first thing you see when you drive to Cancun. The future is bright for this shopping mall. The place has a bunch of different vendors and retailers here. You can get out of the sun, enjoy a cup of coffee, dinner at a fancy-ish restaurant (Ruth Chris!) I don't know where you can park, but this mall is easily accessible from the bus.

not a lot to do outside of the resorts or beaches on your own besides a walk to the shopping…read morearea...luxury avenue is located near the middle of the hotel zone while a larger outdoor shopping mall is located higher up at la isla cancun...la isla cancun is better with a diverse variety of luxury and standard retailers, but luxury avenue was closer to our resort and it is an indoor mall with a/c...the entire upstairs is under construction/closed, so only the bathroom was accessible...the main core boutiques are still present, but majority of the retailers to the back left and right wings are closed and vacant on a 2/2026 visit...browsed what was open...mainly focused on jewelry, watches and bags...ultrajewels has a small selection of everything ranging from jewelry to luxury watches...sampling of watches from iwc and grand seiko to omega and rolex...not a lot of the specific popular models of interest...had a few jlc master control models the staff was eager to sell and offering substantial discounts on...tempted, but moved on to the rolex...had a nice green op 41, but not willing to sell to a new client...browsed to pass time and moved on to hermes...similar in shopping experience...sampling of a few bags and a lot of accessories...while all the accessories were for sale, the bags were not...evelyne for sale, but lindy was not for new clients...already familiar with the process, but doesn't hurt to ask...not a lot on display, so was mostly just asking out of curiosity...the mall is mostly dead, but a/c is cold...not a whole lot of inventory in the stores open, but might get lucky and find something and get approval to purchase...

This indoor mall appeared to be a nice place to do some shopping in the comfort of air conditioning…read moreand away from the outdoor flea markets where you get hounded to buy their wares from every corner. Most stores were a more pleasant place to be able to quietly think and not have to say "no thank you" to every store owner or employee. However, at some stores, we still got aggressive and pushy people who tried to talk us into buying merchandise. Joe K was looking to buy a Mexico Fifa soccer shirt, but he needed a XXXL which never seemed to be available anywhere we looked. One salesperson tried to talk him into a shirt that was made in China. The shirt was obviously too small, but he kept insisting that Joe try it on anyway. I couldn't help but burst out laughing at how snug the shirt fit, when this guy was so desperate to make a sale! At another shop, I showed interest in a small glass Mayan step pyramid. I was told that it was $65.00! I immediately put it down and walked away. Even though I really liked it and wanted it for my pyramid collection back home. I'm so glad I didn't pay that exorbitant amount of money when, days later, I found the same thing at another smaller shop that sold it to me for $15.00! This is the same mall where I wrote a review on one particular store by the name of La Perla Tapatia. https://www.yelp.com/biz/la-perla-tapatia-canc%C3%BAn. I hope to never go through a negative experience like that again! We were just thankful that the efficient bus service in Cancun was a life saver to us on several occasions when it is necessary to get away from the exhausting vendors that won't leave you alone!

Wayan was one of my favorite stores. Their prices are firm but their quality is fantastic! We were able to negotiate good deals with Jesse on silver and he even did shots with us when we're done. There are 2 larger pharmacy's with everything from hot sauce to over the counter medication and antibiotics. They Los have a fish spa but we were to nervous to do it. We loved these day of the dead Mannequins. There is a Bubba Gump Shrimp And Outback Steakhouse! Check in or ask one of the shop owners for free drink cards. We were able to do all of our shopping at one place in one afternoon! The larger Mall Isla was next door. Go there if you want name brand Louis Vitton, Prada, Gucci etc!

I just love Plaza La Fiesta! It's a trip back in time to what souvenir shopping in Cancun was in…read morethe 1990's. This place is HUGE and has literally everything. If you are thirsty, they have bottled water. They have tequila samplings, though not all the time. I was there when they had a sampling with a scorpion in the bottle (ummm ... no). They have some small snacks near the cash register. The place has TONS of Corona beer clothing and souvenirs. They probably have a few hundred different Cancun t-shirts. They have caps. They have Sombreros for $17! They have beach covers. They have dresses to include white cotton "confirmation" ones. They have lots of ceramics and hot sauce bundles and vanilla in various sizes. They have souvenir magnets. Pretty much if you can imagine it as a souvenir, they have it. And, prices are much more reasonable than at other shops. Who has $10 t-shirts at La Isla? They do! Additionally, they have 2 benches in front of the store with 2 figurines that are good photo spots!
