Security at the door was very nice (Nicer than TSA on their best day). Entrance fee was $6 (Much cheaper than I'm used to in WA ($20)). I sat down and a waitress asked me if I wanted a drink. I said water. She came back with a small bottle and said "$5". Pricey. I did not look at the menu after that. Food came out every once in a while. Looked decent, but small portion. Layout: Right after front desk is the Main room with bar. One stage with 2 poles. I sat in second row from the stage. Not many customers inside. To the left of the stage is a door leading to the second room & smaller stage. There was a second bar and hookah tables too. Music: Music was pretty loud (depending where you sit will determine how loud it is)(Ears are still ringing after I got home). Was a mix of English/Spanish music. Mostly hip/hop & rap. The DJ was alright, cheesy at times but entertaining. Like other Showgirls, one girl will dance for 3 songs then switch to the next. What's different is once the girls finish, they take the time to go to every customer and ask for a tip. some are more demanding than others. The girls: as the night went on, more & more girls showed up. Many many different flavors. Most common is Latina. So if they approach you, they will talk to you in Spanish. I don't speak, so I had to clarify "English". If they don't know how to speak, they usually just said "tip" or "money". Some were very skilled professional pole dancers. Others just walked around the pole smoking a vape with low energy for 3 songs. Lap dances here cost $25 for 1 song. More expensive than I'm used to. depending on when you walk back to the booth will determine on how long your dance is. Best time is to sit down right when a song ends. So I ended up paying $25 for half of a song. All in all I would recommend. It was a highlight of my trip.

I explained I was killing time before catching the 1700 train. The atmosphere inside is so great if you like dives as much as I do; dark, smokie and not too loud in the afternoons. Their hours are noon - 0600 7 days a week. Although yesterday was my first day at a new job, it crossed my mind that I could apply at Bare Necessities because I have cellulite too; I would have to be a dancer because they don't schedule stand-up comedians and I don't know how to bartend ... but I did noticed the lovely gentleman with white hair being kind and mild mannered training some of the girls on bartending so maybe they train inexperienced bartenders. I enjoyed myself there so much yesterday afternoon I even called my dad to tell him about it and to remind him to visit me in Miami when I get settled. I am grateful to God and all those involved for having such a nice place near the transit station to sit down for a while on my way to and/or from my new job.

BUT you just have infinite amounts of potential! You could be a really hip Strip Club if it was just run a little differently. Your venue itself is small, but not too small. Girls asking to be tipped for dances we didn't see... Etc. The usual strip club protocol. But then... As the food arrived smelling so tasty (was I just that hungry and drunk?), the lights got dimmer and the familiar sounds of Michael Jackson's Thriller started creeping into my ears... Little by little the song got louder and as I continued to enjoy and devour my burger, I was immediately drawn to the commotion on the stage... There she was. STRILLER. In all of her glory. Beautiful caramel colored skin with matching honey-colored hair... Wearing a Leopard-print leotard. Yes a full-blown dance leotard. Long sleeves and all. And the show began. This amazingly talented dancer proceeded to perform the entire, what I call the Theatrical, dance routine of MJ's Thriller video. For the full legnth of the song (what is it, 12 minutes?!). She did the zombie move and all. This was the BEST thing I've EVER seen!!! And for that, I give Striller 5 Stars!!! :) She should have her own headline show here. You need to have her name all up on the marquis! I wish to God that you would not have made me return my camera to the car when you searched us upon entering (is this necessary, by the way?).
