It is so inexpensive and a great place for all ages. Even as an adult, I enjoy and learn from the museum. They continually have relevant events and special weeks/days throughout the year with themed celebrations and activities. As soon as you child is mobile, this would be a fun museum to visit regularly. We go once a week and spend an hour or two in one of the many themed rooms/areas and I don't see my child ever tiring of visiting here. There is an outdoor playground, outside "kids street" mini town, and inside there is a dedicated area for younger children, and themed areas including STEM, outer space, grocery, crafts, and many more. Now keep in mind that membership is CHEAP so don't expect the latest and greatest toys, activities, and technology. Cleanliness isn't stellar but I have never had any issues here with staff, hygiene, or my child being bored. I would highly recommend a membership here over the aquarium! So much more to do for all ages and a great rainy day activity.

We've never used the arcade or their private birthday facilities but it hasn't been my experience to notice anyone having a hard time with these aspects of their services. I always get there early-ish so it's never too crowded. I did however go there after 3pm on the weekend and it was very intimidating and appeared to be a zoo.... But we still had tons of fun without incident even with TONS of kids everywhere all at once. It was just overwhelming to see sooooo many kids in every area playing. Staff is very attractive, friendly and eager to help and I've found truth in the statement that they don't always know the policies. However, in the event someone couldn't answer my questions they've always found someone that could. To me, the place is such a great value that the little details don't really matter as much as the total experience. IOW, it doesn't matter if the staff doesn't know every detail about everything or if a random teenager is a bit 'zealous' in the dodgeball arena- my child doesn't know the difference and has an equal amount of fun regardless. LOVE this place and look forward to it every Saturday.

You can tell that the staff are educated and care very much about the animals. It is all very clean and well-kept. It took us about 2 hours to sidle through and look at everything. It's a good outing for an afternoon. Part of the facility is outdoors, with exhibits for the beavers (They have beavers!! So cute!!), the dolphins, the otters, and the local gators and wildlife. They have a penguin exhibit that is in the works and coming soon. The rest is indoors in a nice building. You go up to the top floor and work your way down through the various exhibits and tanks. A big part is outside, so you should check the weather before you go and be prepared to deal with whatever. There is a public parking garage right next door, but we parked across the highway at Jones Park and walked over to the aquarium. There is a nice pedestrian skybridge over the highway that makes it easy and safe.

In April I enrolled my child in Kid Academy for the summer program starting in June mind you....I paid 153$ deposit to secure his spot. The first of May we found out we would not be here for the summer so I immediately withdrew him on May 1. The deposit is NON refundable period. So I just gave them 153$ for nothing. Be warned when u enroll your child make sure that no plans change and u are 100% positive that they will be going because you will NOT get your money back no matter the circumstances, and no matter how much advance notice you give...period‼ very displeased with their policy

I came on a Sunday not really realizing there was a larger city event going on in town, which only affected my visit here by slowing down traffic. Getting here was easy, the museum takes up several buildings, so there is plenty of parking. This place is freaking amazing. The employees are very friendly and more than happy to share information about the trains and the city in general. Though they were all about the cruise in that was going on, and I am not into large groups of people. There are model trains with whole cities around them, mock ups of famous buildings, large stores, all made from Legos and similar materials. There is a Jurassic Park, gnomes, dinosaurs and oh so much more. If you are in the area, I highly recommend a stop in here to spend a few hours, especially if you have small humans with you.

She said it can do that when they're at the rush peak. Completely understandable. So I get my groups orders and two of us head towards the pizza place. We walked in and stood there, looking around not knowing who to order from or what the heck we were doing. We finally ask the girl at the register and she says oh you order from someone in the back. So we stood at the counter, made eye contact a few times, asked if we ordered there and the was told mmmhm. Then he went back to making pizza ignoring us. I finally get his attention and get our order in( which was like pulling teeth with no help or direction from anyone working there) . Pay and head over to the cafe to get the rest of the food. That place was equally confusing. No idea what we were doing with zero help from the workers there. Now I'm not blaming these kids. Because they were all working and learning. I blame management because they ( by they I mean every single worker in all 3 food areas we went to) were obviously not trained well and thrown out there. They looked worn out and frazzled. On another visit I show up with my passes and my guest only to be told I cannot enter on this day with a guest without paying an extra 50 dollar fee. They have now decided that only non working people Monday - Thursday can enter with a guest in which they've already paid for. This is after several other occasions of allowing guests in on Friday- Sunday. Make up your mind! Take care of the customer. Make it right for everyone!
