It includes a pavilion for cooking out, a basketball Court, room for practicing your golf swing, horseshoes, and a nice playground. This park has two sets of playground equipment for children ... one each for the different age groups. There are also fenced-in tennis courts for those that play that sport, and the courts have the added attraction of being lined out for pickleball games. What you don't hear is that the same doesn't really happen in the rest of the City of Chicago. Taxpayer dollars are poured into parks in areas where the taxbase is small. Anyway I digress. So the playground is nice. The pool is disgusting. The baseball diamonds are pathetic. There are signs indicating that the diamonds are reserved for Mt Greenwood Park Baseball. I feel bad for the kids that play there. The fields are so torn up that grounders will inevitably take out someone's eye. I think the fields in third world nations are better than these. Bike/jogging path is nice.

My 4 year old loved everything and didn't want to leave. The cashier, VAmparano, was not the friendliest, but she wasn't rude, maybe she was tired of all the kids. The young lady who stamped our hands, she was smiling from ear to ear from the moment we walked in the museum. If you show your WIC card or EBT you get a discount, it cost is $6 total. I believe children 12 months and younger are free. We will definitely be back
