Centrally located and lots of parking , this is one of my favorite halfway points to meet a friend from the city (and I'm in the western burbs). Well maintained and seems like there's always a few people about, but never too crowded. Would def recommend for those looking for a playground, walking path or skate/sports fields.

We live in walking distance and can't enjoy the park because children dropped off, nobody watches them, some parents sit at tables and don't watch their kids. There is a water playground with a small kiddie water slide. It's near mobile homes and a restaurant called "Buck's Pit Stop." I'll be coming back here again and again.

We took our 7 and 4 year old grandbabies to visit the splash park here. For a mere 3 measley…read moredollars per kid ( adults free!!!!!!) my kids were able to run wild with other same age kids thru different water park play areas. There is a dual slide in the center of the park that gets the most action. It is great for kiddos age 3 to 9. There are also spray spots all over the play area and large overhead buckets that fill up and spill onto whoever stands underneath. There are sturdy loungers for parents and Oma's like me to sit on as well as a covered area with picnic chairs you can sit under. There is a guard to make sure kids behave. There are clean single toilets right outside the splash park. Outside the splash park is a 4 story mega slide that was amazing. After splashing, the kids must have climbed that slide 30 times before we left to go home. My kiddos were beat after we left. And that is a miracle my friends!

I moved here after looking for a place in Berwyn...only to have my real estate agent drive south of Pershing one day...and suddenly the lots were twice the size! Let's only look here I shouted. I found my house the next day. Forest View is pretty dang awesome. The previous owner of my house was the parks commissioner and it shows! The park on 46th street and Wenonah is lovely it has... -tennis courts -sand volley-ball -a running track -a playground -well manicured path -and more In the winter it even had a skating rink! The next best part? The Forest View Police Station faces the park! There will never be shenanigans in that park, that's for sure! Other notes about Forest View: -nice clean quiet neighborhood -free garbage and recycling pick-up -fabulous library -FV Police -FV Fire Dept. ...all this for 700 people, pretty impressive!

The $10 saved with the community rate versus the non-resident fee works well for me! My entire family has enjoyed many programs throughout the years including basketball, kiddie college, jujitsu, football, little chefs, and even their pre-school programs. The instructors are both very involved and professional. The park district also offers acceptable rental rates for their rooms. If having a party, one is also able to add on the bouncy house or park access for a nominal fee. My children and I have been to numerous parties here, and I have even had the pleasure of hosting one. However, what does get me is their ability to satisfy customers requests for classes. I have signed my three year old up for kiddie college classes twice now. Both times, it was later cancelled due to low enrollment. Yet, the other classes offered are at full capacity with a wait list! While I understand low enrollment, they need to work on the whole concept of having to dissapoint both young children and parents who were once looking forward to the class. Possibly allow for bigger classes? I still love this Park District and I will continue to utilize their fabulous programs.

They lifeguards go do check ins I'm the locker rooms the water for the shower is hot so no need to scream in cold showers. I been here so many decades ago but it still a gorgeous place for the entire family to come and have fun. I love the fact that they do have adult swimming every hour so yay. I mean only adult swimming. The down side is that they do not allow out door food which is hard for us since we are in a special diet no gluten dairy free etc our food got confiscated the good side they kept it with them in the shade area indoor with them. Remember do t bring food here. You can buy food here and soda etc is not bad at all. The only thing the prices are a little high but welcome to 2023 prices. Since we are not resident to Burbank I end up paying a lot to get in I do want to thank Sebastian the life guard for doing a fast jump to assist my son that was not surfacing from jumping from the board.
