I absolutely and I love with this hidden treasure and after my first visit here this year it is my favorite establishment in Las Vegas!!! I love a great tiki bar and am an avid pina colada/tiki cocktails lover. I also love rock n roll and am a vegetarian so when we decided to check it out for dinner I was very happy they had some vegetarian options for me!! The decor of this bar is an absolute dream and I am so so happy we were seated in the room with the shrunken heads. We were seated at the Sebastian Bach shrunken head table which is absolutely perfect because I love that guy!! Anyways, our server was incredible and super accommodating. There's a little hidden thing they have throughout the bar that I won't disclose on here to keep your eyes out for and it is so fun!! The drinks were all amazing, their shots are so good!! I know I'm leaving out an immense amount of detail but please know it is my favorite establishment in the Las Vegas area. 10/10 absolutely recommend!!

I'm a local and live nearby, so I was looking forward to finally checking it out. Unfortunately, the experience was soured right at the entrance. The security guard(black dude) wouldn't allow us to bring our water bottles and canteens inside. Given the Las Vegas heat, I found this policy unreasonable, especially when we were simply trying to stay hydrated. I didn't feel like arguing with the guy about it, so we decided not to go in. For context, four of us had walked about 25 minutes to get there. It was disappointing to make that effort only to turn around without even getting the opportunity to experience the place. We ended up at a neighboring bar that didn't complain about water. I understand businesses have rules to follow, but the way policies are enforced and how customers are treated at the door matter. Unfortunately, this was enough to put me off visiting, and it's a shame because I had been meaning to check the place out for a while.

Petrol Head is an incredibly awesome late night spot! You'll find them near Honey Pig Korean BBQ,…read moreand right behind True Matcha. They have visible signage out front, but the parking and entrance are in the back. To get there, drive around the building and turn right into the back alley, you'll see a cornered parking lot. Inside is a dimly lit atmosphere that's inviting, casual, laid back and cozy with awesome background music. I was listening to an interesting song by Empire of the Sun called "Ask That God," which has a bittersweet melody but a happy upbeat 80s tempo. It's like an ethereal song with dancing beats, truly captivating and fantastic! Menu offers a nice selection of appetizers, wings, mains, smash burgers, as well as dinner for two, late night pit stop, and desserts. For refreshments, they have beer, wine, sake, and zero proof. I asked if they had non-alcoholic drinks like iced tea but they don't carry it, only sodas and bar drinks. I chose iced water with lemon instead, which is still good and cooling! I was curious to try a light snack, and the bartender Marcela recommended the Musubis. She mentioned I could do a mix-and-match. So I ordered Musubis (2 pieces, $10), one with Spam and the other with Portuguese sausage, and both are amazingly tasty! The Portuguese sausage has good flavor, it's tender with a light soft chew, and tastes great with rice, so YUM! Spam Musubi is also delicious! It's a lovely pan-fried crisp spam with a slight sweetness, and has furikake on rice, such a satisfying snack and really good! Service from Marcela is outstanding! She's very kind, welcoming, attentive, courteous, super helpful, and friendly. She is so nice and made time to check in, and even refilling my drink, I appreciate it! Her recommendation to get the Musubis was excellent! Just a note, they open every day from 5pm to 1am, with the last call for food orders at 12:30am. There's also a live DJ on Mondays and Tuesdays, especially for Taco Tuesday with Latin music playing all night, and free karaoke is included with food purchase on Thursdays. I checked out the karaoke room, and it's very cozy with comfy seating. Petrol Head is definitely a great spot to hangout, unwind, enjoy good food, and refreshing drinks!

Don't give up when your GPS says to go down an alley behind the shopping center. They have a car event on the first Sunday of the month that we'll try and come back for. The ambiance is so cool also. This is an awesome local business to support.

The Laundry Room is dead, long live the Laundry Room. The remodel that took place during Jan to May 2026 saw a wide amount of change from Corner Management, the mother company of LR. They got rid of the absolute corner stone of the lead bartender, Anthony, and redecorated the place to look more like the sister bar, Doberman Drawing Room (5 Stars). The remodel was absolutely needed, as the regulars and Dean's List could point out, the place was kind of falling apart. From water warped bar top, uncomfortable chairs, and chipped paint/worned carpet, you would think this place WAS left over from the Prohibition era. What sets this establishment apart from any of the pretend speakeasy on the strip is the atmosphere. At any given time, you could cram 16 people there at a time, even with the reduced drinking time cut from 2 hours to 90 minutes, this place could only cycle thru 50 to 60 people from the reduced nightly opening of 4 hours from 6 hours previously. This make LR special, not some faux speakeasy in Cosmo or Resort World that could jam in 80 people per hour with room to spare. Gone is the rugged identity of the old laundry room for El Cortez, this is spiced up, every square inch of the wall is covered with some art piece, very much different from the Depression era decor. Some art selection are just straight up chaos from the management, the main cherub piece behind the bar is just insanity. The new master of house, Davey, showed skills with his new 14 drink menu, but fell short of what made LR great in the past 14 years. Now, the man had just two months to create his drink list and per himself, had to start from the scratch from when he took over.. So, with that said, let's focus on the drinks. Hemingway Dalguiri, Dust + Ether, and High Noon Static - all great in taste, presentation, and talent, abet we can see the hesitation when making his own drinks, thus slowing down service by quite a bit. My party saw him struggle making 6 drinks at once, 4 of them the same drinks. Recommendation from someone else, maybe record the drink making process and try to eliminate non productive habits and motions via video viewing. Since Davey is a visionary, looking in the past is a deal breaker for him. If you are trying to finish up a previous menu for the Dean's List, the joke is on you, that is a no. Where the hostess (the only person that survived the purge from the remodel) explained to him that exception needs to happen to keep the Dean's List going, the answer was a no since no one at management told him about this. When asked about what will the new requirements will be for the future, it's simple, finish the menu before it's replaced with no chance of catching up. Once a menu is done, it's done. I guess it's easier to keep the drinks under control with less ingrediencies needed behind the bar, but wait a minute... drink number 15, Research and Development, that should give Davey some leeway to non menu drinks right? Turns out, not so much. Sidecar- cognac, orange liqueur, lemon juice. Simple right? He leaves the room to get something from Commonwealth... didn't management installed a new fridge to hold the larger ice cubes, where previous bar keep have to venture out all the time? Turns out, there was no Cognac or any Brandy in the Laundry Room. I can see how things are shaped, strict bottle control is for the benefit of the bar, not for the customer. There is now Vodka, foam, and milk wash but lost Cognac or Brandy, but besides the freedom of choices were also compounded with complete lack of rules. For the last 14 years, the hostess and bar staff on rotation were friendly yet firm about house rules. First given upon entering the secret or window doors, then by the bartender after an aperitif is given (now eliminated). No photo, religion, politic, standing at the bar, name dropping, brawling, telephone calls, PDA, and smoking, plus don't be creepy, be patient, and know your limit. Most of these were not enforced the first 2 times my party of regulars have visited since the remodel. The cardinal sin of allowing one single 4 top to seat 2 people at a time is just wild. But hey, no rules are listed on the new simple menu and none giving at the door or at the seats. So what is this place now? 20 to 23 dollars for a drink plus more for popcorn. All for the experience of being in a noise warfare between Commonwealth and La Mona Rosa's speaker systems, with LR's own music turned up high, and the piano only used one night of the week. I would recommend Doberman Drawing Room as of now for better drinks options, less noise, and vibe. The new menu to replace Fear and Laundry will come out this Fall, will be bring some regulars with me to check on LR again and hopefully give more than 2 stars on the next review.

He made us feel welcomed from the moment we walked up to the bar. We were a bit indecisive and Jeremy went through each drink explaining the flavors/contents. So much patience . We had a few drinks and not disappointed at all! Each drink was a show stopper and tasted amazing ! Loved the lit up cool tree in the center , the table and the whole entire vibe ! $20 bucks is about how much each drink costs which is fair. Visiting from Cali and we pay a bit more or around that price. We spent hours there and drank our drinks slowly because all the staff was sooo friendly . With so many choices in LV, this is a spot I'd return to. I'll be back and will recommend to anyone visiting LV! Give Jeremy a raise! They have a wide selection of drinks that seem to be infused type drinks. There was a couple glitches, this is why our review is three stars. The bar was not crowded at all. It was us and another group of four. Our bartender gave us the menus and kind of disappeared. We asked for a photo and she said well when I catch up, I will do that for you. As stated there was only another group of four and two bartenders. She was over with them as if they were friends talking to them the entire time. She finally came around and gave us our drinks and offered to take our picture, but by then we had already taken pictures. We had the Crimson drink, which was very good. It had watermelon, flavoring watermelon squares and watermelon flavored Red Bull. I ordered Diet Coke and the first one was horrible. It tasted like it was mixed with something. She was kind enough to pour it out and bring me another one, it unfortunately also had some weird kind of taste. I recommend this place do a deep cleaning. The bar smelled like hot melted metal. The the staff here had no personality whatsoever and was borderline rude and not taking care of the customers. It was a very quiet day and we should've been served with a smile and better attitude. Sorry, this place missed the Mark.
